Description of Work: Signed a contract in September with promise of easy installation before winter. Old driveway was ripped out and leveled in early October. Even though we had one of the warmest falls ever, they waited too long until early Nov. we had 2 heavy rainstorms that no one expected and despite it being very warm, it was too wet. We were 1 nail biting day away from having a sandy, gravel driveway all Winter. At 3:00 PM on the last day before the asphalt suppliers shut down for the winter, they finally paved the driveway. I got so tired of explaining to the neighbor's that they really were going to pave my driveway before Winter.

Description of Work: I asked for an estimate and the company never contacted me directly. An estimate was mailed to me but I never spoke to the estimator so they quoted work without knowing the scope. Very poor in my opinion.

Description of Work: They resurfaced an asphalt driveway and an attached turn-around, parking area. The driveway is about 50-60 feet long and the other area about another 20 x 20 feet square. All cracks were attended to and great care was taken to clean, sweep, blow and edge areas next to lawn and a wood retaining wall. We were very satisfied with the result.

Description of Work: They arrived ontime and were so quick and professional. I was amazed at how fast they removed the pled driveway and I I was very happy that they recycle the asphalt. Alpine cleaned up debris on the street and performed all work as proposed, I I am very happy with the job and would recommend Alpine to anyone. Yesterday I received a thank you note which demonstrates tome that they appreciate my business. My Driveway was removed in under 1hr (21x40 foot) and completed in 3hrs. The crew were polite, efficient and diligent.

+ -1 moreAfter the initial bid there was a bit of a lag getting scheduled (it was at the height of summer) but the work went very smoothly. I went to work in the morning, by the time I came home, I had a complete driveway!
Description of Work: Cleared old partial concrete, graded the driveway and poured asphalt. My garage is lower than my driveway and they made sure water flowed away from my garage door. They did a great job cleaning up debris.

+ -1 moreThey were very gracious about scheduling this work at a convenient time for me. The crew leader was pleasant and helpful. We discovered that my neighbor's part of the driveway had some holes developing near the garage. He did a temporary fix by filling it in with dirt and pieces of asphalt and promised to send an estimate for a permanent repair to the neighbor. The crew of five worked quickly and the driveway looks great.
Description of Work: They sealcoated the double driveway that my neighbor and I share. They trimmed the edges, cleaned the driveway, filled in the major cracks and seams, primed the oil spots and sealcoated the driveway.

I told them to go ahead, and someone contacted me to say it would be 4-5 weeks until they would be out to install. They called two days before the install date and informed me they would be out. It took them a half day, and the job was done great. Their quote was $700 or $800 less than another firm I had out.
Description of Work: They removed an old asphalt driveway and replaced with a new base and asphalt.

+ -1 moreWhen I decided to demo my 1-car garage and build a 2-car garage, I needed to have a larger driveway to accommodate the new structure. Since I had had a good experience with Alpine in the past, I didn't hesitate to contact them right away. I didn't get any bids for this project, so I maybe could have paid less with someone else, but I already knew that I would be getting a quality product. I talked to Paul and he was very easy to work with. We had to schedule depending on the garage builders progress, yet I wanted to be on their schedule and had no idea when exactly they could start their work. Communication was key! Whenever I left a message, the call was returned promptly. Paul actually talked to my garage contractor (they happened to be at my house at the same time) too, which I think helped in making the process of working with 2 different companies on connected projects so simple.
Description of Work: I had a 1-car asphalt driveway patched to become a 2-car asphalt driveway. Alpine installed the 1-car driveway in 2002 and did a great job!
