I had gotten four proposals, but went with Alpine Asphalt due to their great reputation, detailed proposal (which outlined every step of the process), and fair price. Additionally, I really liked the option of being able to pay one-third when I accepted the proposal, one-third when the driveway was finshed, and one-third 30 days after that. The small window (late morning or early afternoon) that was given for scheduling was nice. Paul (the owner) said they would arrive either late morning or early afternoon and about 12:30 PM they were here. Paul came to the door first thing to introduce himself and then one member of the crew started edged the driveway while several other guys diligently dug out and removed the old asphalt and base. Thereafter the area was prepared for laying the new base and the base was built up, compacted, and smoothed. Finally the new asphalt was applied, compacted, and rolled. Everything was done exactly how Alpine had specified in the proposal. The hard working, professional crew, completely lived up to Alpine Asphalt's sterling reputation as they meticulously completed every step of the process in a timely manner. Quite honestly, I have never seen a more professional or hard working crew. Driveway looks amazing! Last but not least, a five-year guarantee is very reassuring. I am very pleased with Alpine Asphalt , and my neighbors are already talking about having their driveways replaced by this company next year.

Initially contacted Alpine Asphalt via their website to request a quote for driveway seal-coating. They responded the next day to let me know that they would do an onsite estimate within a week and provide me with a written estimate. The estimate was emailed to me in less than a week. The price was about 20% higher than what I paid to a different company three years ago but I decided to go with Alpine based on the positive reviews of their work. Once I authorized the work, they contacted me within a couple days to set up a time to do the seal-coating. I was not home when the work was done but the final product looks very good. There is a warranty so I will monitor over the winter and spring to see how well the seal-coating holds up.

I live in Colorado and had to help out with my mother's house. I was able to get this finished with 1 phone call and a couple of emails. I sent them an email and they went out to the house and gave me a quote. I sent them an email and they went and did the job just as described on schedule. Wonderful experience!!! Thank you alpine!

Alpine Asphalt set up an appointment on the day I requested and confirmed the day before saying they would arrive between 7:30 and 8:00 AM; they arrived at 7:45 promptly, checked in with me and went to work. They were courteous and all five (I believe) men on their crew worked efficiently, completing the new driveway ahead of their estimated completion time at around 1:00 PM. The driveway looks perfect, and they left the worksite cleaner than it was when they arrived. Their representatives were very courteous and explained what I needed to do over the coming days to care for the driveway. They didn't try to sell me anything extra, they just recommended it be sealcoated in four to five years. I appreciated that the price quoted was the exact price paid. The new driveway looks perfect, and I am completely satisfied with my decision to employ Alpine Asphalt. If I ever need asphalt work done in the future I plan on using them again.

Just got an estimate from them for replacing my driveway. I just decided to go with concrete instead of asphalt so I didn't use them.

Estimator came out within 2 days of contact. She answered my questions and even came back out when I needed clarification on some items. The problem I had was the quote came in so much lower than others that I didn't think she knew what I was requesting. The quote was accurate and they said they would do everything I needed. I asked about repairing the garage concrete apron, and they said they could only cut a flat edge and it should look fine. I decided to have them do that and I would hire someone to repair the apron if it didn't look good. In the end, they cut a razor sharp straight line and it looks fine. The foundation was exposed, so they packed and capped the garage foundation and then ran the asphalt right to the edge. Looks awesome. For the driveway, the crew was early and ready to start on time. The driveway was thicker than they expected but they ripped it out fast. They built up the grade and laid down the new asphalt. They were in and out in 6 hours or so. They added the flare out at the bottom at no extra cost. AND this is what sealed the deal for me...my 13 year old kid was home that day. Every half-hour he'd go out and get a picture on his phone to send to me. The guys treated him very well, explaining what they were working on so he could relay the info to me. Top notch crew, very professional, and you can't beat how crazy competitive the price was. The warranty should work out great if I need to use it. Highly recommended.

Quality of work appears very good, punctual, finished in two days and left everything clean and in good shape.

Alpine Asphalt did a fantastic job! Our driveway was in terrible shape before, so they had to remove all the old concrete and re-pave it. Alpine did a great job of making sure the new driveway was level and smooth. They did a beautiful job finishing everything - they exceeded my expectations in every way! In addition they were 20% less expensive than the exact same bid that I received from another company. Highly recommended!

Very professional. Arrived on time. All the workers appeared experienced They put down 5 inches of class 5 rock after removing the old driveway. When they were done they were very careful that their wasn't any asphate on the concrete apron or the curb. They even edged the driveway so it looks very clean and wonderful.

Great competitive price (we negotiated some), friendly woman to deal with. Work went quickly once bid accepted and payment by credit card was appreciated. Driveway looks great! Hope it lasts for years.

Estimator came on time gave a fair price. The workers came when they said they would and did the quickly and professionally.

This is the third time I've had this driveway sealcoated since replacing it in 2004, and I don't recall ever getting a bid this high before. I went with someone who did the work for $135, which is much more in line with past experience.

Everything went well. They took all the backfill I had from another project and spread it out over the removed asphalt area, saving me a lot of time and labor.They were quick and efficient about the entire project in my opinion. Their price was good. Other bidders on the project were much higher due to not being able to use their power tools for some of the removal/cutting. Apparently Alpine had different tools or didn't think the manual labor was too difficult.

Everything has went well. We're still waiting for 1 more quote.

I called them and they came right out to give me a good estimate. They were very courteous and hardworking. They had even cut down some bushes easily. They were great. My experience with them was fine.

Their price was competitive. Their references were good. I have no way of judging in terms of quality because quality of an asphalt driveway has a lot to do with longevity and it has been only 3 months. However, it appears to be good but only time will tell. They did the job quickly and efficiently. They seemed to be very friendly and very competent. I will definitely use them in the future if the driveway holds up. I looked at 2 others. One of them was really indifferent though they were on Angie?s List and had gotten good marks.

Called for estimate on sealcoating and possible additional asphalt patching for 750-800 sq ft driveway. Ended up hiring another highly ranked Angie's List company. Did like this company offered patching as part of services / estimate

I very much appreciated that I got an estimate at the begining of the summer, hired someone to build a deck so had to postpone the driveway until the end of the summer. THey were very accomidating waiting until the end of the summer. They finished the work in a few hours and it looks fantastic. Also, I was able to contact them via e-mail which helped during work hours.

Extremely well. They responded immediately with a time by which they would get me a bid and they did get it to me on time. They were able to schedule me within about a week. Their communication was exactly what I liked and well above most companies I have dealt with. They called to confirm they got the signed bid and gave me an estimated completion date. They called to give me a date and then called the night before to reconfirm. They were on time and the people were friendly and very courteous.

My driveway was just dirt and weeds before Alpine Asphalt layed down a new driveway. I wanted the driveway extended and this involved taking out 2 large raised flower beds. Alpine Asphalt took out the flower beds at no addional cost. I received 3 bids for this job, and they were $724.00 lower then my second lowest bid. They did an excellent job and the driveway looks beautiful. What a difference a new driveway can make! I would highly recommend them to other Anglie List members.

They did a good job. The thickness of the asphalt was good for the price. They built up around the window wall which was not expected from them so that was nice. I also noticed that the drainage is really good. I nearly got 7 bids for this job and theirs was the least bid. I m satisfied with the quality of the work done. They were pretty responsive and punctual. They got the job done within the time they promised. They cleaned up well after themselves. They were professional and skilled at the job.

The team at Alpine Asphalt was highly responsive and professional. They were very clear about the process and communicating with me. The bid was completed quickly and they explained how they would repair and coat my driveway in two separate steps. Once the work began they were quick and clean and did an amazing job at a great price. I would highly recommend them and will use them again when the driveway needs a professional sealcoating.

Overall, I am happy with my new driveway. The transitions from garage floor to the driveway are seamless. The same can be said about the driveway matching up seamlessly to the apron at the street. All of the work was completed in one day and the clean up of the area was good. There were no surprises.

Wow! Are they fast and professional. Too bad asphalt is so expensive (although it is cheaper than concrete) because I would have had them do the rest of my back drive.
