They promised to come within a window of 2 hours to do the work. After I called them 3 times over the course of 7 hours, they finally arrived 8 hours later then originally promised. Yes, they did do what they said they would do, but when I called to ask for some sort of cost reduction, or at least an apology (which I never received) for keeping me waiting, all I received was a rude, condescending, unprofessional response to my request. They did not think they did anything wrong, and implied that the time I spent waiting was not important to them. I did report them to the Better Business Bureau since they have them listed on their web site, and after I made my report Brent called me one evening (he sounded drunk) and proceeded to bully me some more.

It went great and we were surprised at how nice of job they did! You'd never have known it was a complete mess a couple hours earlier!

They were late for the appointment and did not call to let me know they would be late. When he came he already had a load on the truck but did manage to get most of the items on the truck. He stated that they would be back later that day or the next morning to pick up the trailer. When he pulled the truck behind our back yard to pick up the items I requested that he not drive across my neighbors yard, but he did it again when he moved the truck. They did not pick up the trailer the next day as they stated, so I called the company to find out when they were going to pick it up. He stated he would call me right back and never did. After an hour I called again and left a message. He did call me back a couple of hours later and stated they would pick up the trailer later that day or the next day. I told him I would not be home the next day and he stated that he could pick it up even if I was not home. I told him I preferred to be home when they picked it up. They did finally pick up the trailer while I was not at home.

Went very smoothly. All was taken away.

Driver was courteous, helpful and prompt. I'm happy with the result.

The two "hunks" arrived a bit late, but they called to notify me. They set about the task promptly and looked for more ways to help me. I thought the job went better than I could have hoped for. The young men that work for Hunks Removing Junk were energetic, polite and extremely helpful. I got a great deal for the $99 daily deal I purchased through Angie's List. I would and will recommend them to all my friends who need help.

I gave this company an "A" for price because its competitors were much more expensive and they are very reasonable even without a Angies List coupon. I gave them a "B" for quality because although Kyle and Owen (the guys who actually came and did the work of hauling my junk away) were fantastic --and I would ONLY use this company again because of them -- the management of this organization leaves a lot to be desired. Quite honestly, I am afraid to leave anymore of a comment than that for fear that I will get some unprofessional comments back from the manager.

I called for an estimate, and my call was promptly returned. Zack and Owen came out at the time arranged, gave me an estimate that was fair and agreeable, and removed all of the debris. They were very professional and respectful, and did a great job. I was so relieved to have all that old junk hauled away. Now I can really enjoy all of the landscaping work I did this summer!

I marked them down in the one area because when I called on the day of service to find out when they would arrive after being promised that it would be first thing in the morning, apparently the scheduling records in their office no longer reflected their appointment. They were able to free up some people to come out later, to their credit, but had I not had the day off it would have been inconvenient.

They were in and out within 15-minutes and all was taken care of quickly.

Overall, excellent .We were surprised that they asked for $20 cash for recycling fees - we thought ALL fees were included in what we purchased. The truck was 20 minutes late, but not a big deal. The were very professional, courteous and apologized for the misunderstanding about the added fee. They were quick! We would use them again!

Scheduled for 3:30 on 9/7. They called around noon, wanted to come earlier because truck was in the area, but that was not possible without a longer warning. I told them I could move it up to 3:00. Then, they called around 3:30 to reschedule to Saturday morning 8:30. At 9am 9/8, I called wondering where they were. They had to check on the truck, called back 10 minutes later to say they were on their way. They showed up closer to 10am. Once on site, the guys did a good and quick job removing the junk.

The truck was about 80% full when Owen arrived, but he managed to get quite a bit into that space. It didn't seem to be 25% worth of space, but he got most of what I wanted to get rid of into that space. Owen worked on his own and was fast, friendly, and polite. I would use this service again. It was my first use of a junk service.

They did not respond to my first call because nobody was in the office and they lost my message but they were very responsive on the second try. The deal I bought through Angie's List turned out to not include black dirt removal, which is what I wanted done, but the main office agreed to do it anyway, but not at the original price. There was considerable haggling at that point with them trying to keep me happy but wanting more money. We eventually agreed that they would come out and give me a bid on how much they would need to charge but trying to set me up to agree to pay more money. Fortunately for all concerned, the amount of black dirt I wanted for them to move was small enough that they were willing to do it for the original price. Once we agreed on that everything went smoothly and they got the work done right away.

While I did not witness the actual removal first hand, my mom was at our house that day and watched as Brian hauled the pile from the back yard & up a good-sized hill. She said he was very careful around the landscaping and efficient in how he packed the truck. When I got home, the pile was gone and we had our patio back - and I am guessing happy neighbors to boot.

It went well. They were prompt and pleasant. They were much cheaper than a competitive estimate I received. They didn't really think through getting my sleeper sofa through a tricky entry way and consequently scraped my wall in one place, tearing the wallpaper. The deducted another $33 off the price for that. I might not recommend them for something really difficult to maneuver but otherwise, you can't beat them price-wise.

Their service was okay. The only thing I didn’t like was that they said they would remove a truck load for a certain price, but they tried to tell me it would be extra for the washing machine and dryer.

This is a great service! They moved everything so I didn't have to. Two guys came with a truck. They arrived as planned and were very friendly. They carried everything out themselves. The file cabinet was Techline which is extremely heavy office furniture. They had no problem moving it. The amount I spent is discounted by a Crowd Cut deal. Without the deal, the cost would have been $258. Part of the charges were for printer recycling fees as well as extra charges for mattress disposal. Those charges were very reasonable.

The two men who came out were courteous and efficient. They were on time (delayed just slightly by rain), left the work site very clean after, and removed everything I had asked them to. The entire job, which would have taken me a number of days by myself, and a lot of time hauling the junk to a landfill, took them just over 4 hours. Once they finished loading up a very large truck full of the shed sections, they cleaned up and were on their way. I thought that they did a fantastic job, and that it was well worth the price I paid. I would happily recommend Hunks Removing Junk to my friends and family!
