All Day Haul Away

They were on time and took the truck around to our garage, and got started as soon as I pointed out the pile of junk that needed to go. It was really easy.

It was good. I would refer them to friends and family.

Two young men removed a washing machine. They didn't seem to have much experience, asked for my tools when they had to take a door off the hinges. They had no or did not use safety straps and came close to falling on the stairs. Task was completed without injury or damage to door. I am a nurse so I was concerned about the strain on both the men doing the lifting.

No trouble scheduling service. The guys removing the junk arrived on time, were prompt and friendly.

This is my second time hiring this company in a few months. I was very impressed by how pleasant and professional the young male employees were, as well as how careful they were not to damage anything. I would definitely use this company again.

We scheduled our pickup for three days in advance although they offered an even earlier date if we wanted. We agreed on a specific hour of arrival so I didn't have to plan to sit around waiting all morning or afternoon. On pickup day, they called us 90 minutes early and asked if it would be ok to come an hour early which turned out to be convenient for me. They arrived within 5 minutes of the new agreed-upon time. Two men came to the door. They were pleasant, courteous, and goal-oriented. I took them to the three areas where we had stuff to move. I noted that they were careful not to track through the house. I suggested they use the front entry to take out the heavy hide-a-bed because the doorway was wider. Although I had a pre-paid coupon to use, the amount I showed them clearly would take up more space than the coupon covered. Before anything was moved I was given an explanation and estimate of the additional cost which I thought was reasonable and gave the go-ahead. They took a moment to plan out the order of the move and then went ahead and promptly hauled out all the stuff which was mostly true junk. I noted they were very careful in our living room to move out the hide-a-bed without damaging the walls or doorway. When they were done, I was presented a final bill which was somewhat less than the estimate. All in all, I felt I got good value for my money and that the guys represented their company very postively.

They just did a really good job, they were really nice, friendly, and just took care of everything. We just pointed it out and took care of it all. They were actually early.

They were very pleasant and did go right to work as soon as I explained what needed to go. They loaded everything on the truck, and I was very surprised that they got as much as they did on that truck Once the job was explained to them, they never stopped working until they were finished loading The price was reasonable, though more than I expected. That was due to the fact that they had to pay to drop off those things that were considered hazardous waste (paints, chemicals etc.) I think I would have them back again if the need arose.

They arrived on time and were very efficient. I was impressed with their ability to move a VERY large TV and another piece of furniture easily up some stairs. I had everything ready to go and I'm sure that expedited things.

Responsive and helpful on the phone. Very courteous. Only problem I had was that they were approx. 1/2 hour late. Someone had called in sick that day. Again, they were very courteous when I called and complained. Would definitely use them again. Very detailed in explaining the potential additional charges (i.e. television, etc.).

I called in the morning, spoke to the representative and they said they had an opening that afternoon and would call before arriving. They called and arrived within the time quoted and quickly loaded up what I had. The only surprise was that I had not been informed beforehand of the additional charges for electronics pickup.

They were running late but informed us of the fact and gave us a new time they could arrive, which they did. They took everything we had indicated we would like to get rid of and were very courteous.

The team had trouble finding my house, but kept calling until they found me. Two nice young men hauled out everything I wanted removed. There was some minor damage to my wall that they caused, but pointed out and gave me the option of a $20 discount or having someone come in to repair the damage.

The "Hunks" were great - but I question the business ethics of the owner. I got a verbal estimate, but the bill came out a lot higher. So my recommendation is to get the estimate in writing.

The service itself was as expected. It did cost a bit more than expected. I knew it would cost more than the deal as the deal was for a portion of the truck, I knew it would be more. I was a little surprised at how much more, but still felt it was within reason. I think I am just over all surprised how much it costs to move garbage particularly when someone else created it. The trouble we had was initially connecting with the company to make the appointment. I had to call a number of times. Once I did connect, I found them to be very nice and they made an appointment right away. I had read in other reviews that they have a propensity to be late for their appointments so I planned for that. Indeed they were about 7 hours late! I was getting a bit nervous. In fact, I was expecting company and they were still here when the company arrived at 6 pm. I had to pester them a bit on updates for when they would be there. I think this company just has trouble estimating how much time it will take because they don't really know how much each appointment will take before. Therefore, I would suggest getting the first appointment of the day or plan to wait for them all day!

They were friendly, efficient, and extremely professional. They arrived on time, gave us a very close estimate as to cost and time. They completed the job quickly. The price was very reasonable for the amount of junk they hauled away. We will be doing more work in the spring, and will call them back for the next pile of stuff.

The two young men were polite and professional. They called to let me know that they would be a little late, as an earlier job had been bigger than they expected. A great experience, no problems whatsoever. I will recommend them, and I would hire them again if when I need to get rid of more stuff.

I bought an Angie's List Big Deal for junk hauling. We did not have very much junk to remove but the guy who arrived was professional and very fast. Junk was removed in no time with no problems.

BeWe took advantage of an Angie's List deal for $99. I called and made an appointment for the following Saturday. The person with whom I spoke seemed a little unorganized, but I assume he was working out of his home and his calendar was not handy. On the day and time we arranged, half an hour after the stated time I had heard nothing. I called and after a pause was told the truck was running late. THe 'hunks' arrived a while later. They were pleasant and efficient, removing old fencing, landscape edging, patio chairs, and a yard toy. We had some old metal cubicle walls in the basement for them to remove if they could detach them so they would fit through the doorways. They quickly pulled them apart, taking care not to break the glass panels, and hauled them up and out. The rolls of wire fencing took up space in the truck and since he Hunks charge by volume, there was a slight extra charge as a result. We considered the experience pleasant and fruitful and would call the 'hunks' again if the need arises.

They were reliable and friendly. They were very professional and we would use them again.

This was the second time I've used them. Their pricing is comparable to buying a dumpster in a bag except they load it all up. There was one minor mix-up on the service date (I asked for the 21st, they had gotten the 20th). I was able to call, get it rescheduled and they arrived right on time the next day. I would definitely use them again.

Once I made contact with them, we set up the appointment and they explained the process to me. When the truck arrived, the driver assessed the amount of junk. Since I had cement and rocks as well as other junk, and I also had the Bid Deal coupon, my situation was a bit complicated. However, they professionally went through my options and explained the costs very clearly. They quickly cleaned up my junk and hauled it away. I'm very happy with the result. Would I use them again? I don't think I will, simply because I feel like I can have more junk removed for less money using a traditional roll-off dumpster service. This service is great for people who need the labor included in the junk removal.

WE REQUESTED A RECEIPT FOR THE ADDIITONAL AND WERE TOLD THEY'D MAIL IT TO US, THEY DIDN'TAHVE ONE WITH THEM. NEVER GOT A RECEIPT BUT DID HAVE MY CREDIT CARD CHARGED AND ADDITIONAL $485.00. i CALLED THE OWNER AND, HE APOLOGIZED AND DID MAKE SURE THERE WAS AN CORRECTION IMMEDIATELY. i WOULD USE THEM AGAIN AS THEY ARE EFFICIENT AND THE OWNER SO NICE, BUT I WOULD CHECK IF THE CREW WAS NEW FIRST.

The two guys who did the junk removal were great. They worked hard, were careful when carrying large items up from the basement and through the house out the front door, and thoroughly cleaned up the junk areas. So an "A" to the guys doing the work! The problems I had with Hunks Removing Junk were related to punctuality. They did not show up at the original appointment time so I called them to find out when they would be there. They were behind schedule and would come a couple hours later. That was OK with me. Then they did not show up at the later time. So I called them. They were on the way but running late. That would then be late evening so we rescheduled to the following morning - first pick up of the day. They did not show up at that time. So I called them. They were running late again. They did get there about an hour later than promised. The overall price was OK because I got an Angie's List "Big Deal". They just need to get a better scheduling system.
