All Day Haul Away

They were early and got all the work don quickly and thoroughly. I had priced the cost of a dumpster and this turned out to be cheaper and they did all the loading for me.

Well. They showed up and went to work. They were polite. I would recommend them to a friend.

I was really pleased with them and no issues at all from them. They came out a few days after I purchased the big deal. It was under $400 and I was very happy. They were running late and I assumed that someone would call and after I waited an hour and half, I called them and they were finishing up another job and it was rainy. They were very good, kind and considerate. They were very pleasant. They were inexpensive. They swept afterwards. They were very clean and very respectful. I cannot say enough about them. They called me back 10 minutes after I called. They arrived shortly after I called and they stayed until they were finished. I would use them again and I have recommended them to others.

It worked out very well! It was a great thing. They were done quickly. We were pleased to write the check and we’re happy to have everything gone. There was no upcharge and we knew that before they started loading, nothing changed. So that was all good. They gave us an estimate first. It included everything from torn down wall panelings from a bathroom we dismantled to old warped wooden adirondack chairs. So they took a little of everything. It met the criteria and they were happy and we were happy.

Overall this was a good experience. The company answered my initial phone call and was able to schedule at the time I requested. I had a large pile of ripped up carpet, some of which was wet, so it was not the most pleasant junk removal job. The employee removing it was still very pleasant, worked hard, and cleaned up after himself. The only hiccup was that he arrived one hour early. I was home at the time, so it wasn't that big of a deal for me in the end.

They didn't charge me more than the deal. They were able to get out there quickly, soon after I've called. But the one complaint I have is that they sent only one guy. We live in a condo and it took him a long time, and we had to help him, because he couldn't open doors by himself. They didn't sent enough people to get the work done without our help. We didn't have to list anything, but we were in a hurry, so we had to help carry some things back to the truck and hold doors open. I don't think it is professional to send one guy.

They showed up on time, honored the coupon, and gave me a quick price for additional services not covered by the coupon. They were professional and worked hard the entire time they were here.

I emailed the company on Monday and they were able to come the next day.

We had a mixed experience. The crew was about 1 hour late. I called the owner who promptly called his crew and called back to apologize about their lateness. He said they were on their way and he said he told them to take $20 off. Perfect response. The crew were very polite and explained that the previous job had taken longer than anticipated. Everything went out quickly but then they had trouble disassembling the futon frame and I had to loan them my tools to use. They were able to take it apart but in moving it down stairs they banged the piece into the arch way and chipped paint off. We weren't thrilled about this of course. At the end the crew member apologized and said he'd take $20 off for the paint. I paid them and after they left I realized that while he took $20 off for the paint he failed to take the $20 off the owner told him too. We just let it go because it was a good deal anyways - but if we were paying the normal price we would've been more upset. So here's my take - really nice guys and great onsite face to face people skills, but they should carry tools with them so they don't have to borrow from their clients and they need to communicate a better between one another and with clients if there is any change in the plan.

They were great., even if they were a little bit late. I just had to point at whar I wanted gone and it was gone. They were pleasant and efficient. I will deffinitely recommend them and/use them again.

I had bought the Big Deal offer but and I paid them $40 more, slightly more than the $99 I paid for it. They were very efficient and very prompt. They handled it without any issue. There weren’t many questions, and they did not damage anything while doing their job. They were very quick. Their website is pretty inclusive of what they offer.

They did a great job.. During the time they were there, it began to rain. They moved all of the garage conte to out of the rain and continued to work. They were great .

After writing my original piece, the owner called me to discuss. He felt my review was unfair because I should have told them before they came out that my water was not on or should have had the fitting in my house for my faucet. My expectation was that they would have had a fitting if our water was not on to do the pressure washing. If you agree with the owner's line of thought, my rating would change to a B.

The experience with Hunks Removing Junk was okay, I wasn't told that they couldn't take an old refrigerator without an extra fee and so I had to pay an extra 15 dollars and I understand that it can happen but it would have been nice to have known that. They didn't have a dolly and they used ours and it left a mark on our carpet and I can replace the carpet, that was no big deal but I thought maybe they should have used their own stuff. They were nice, I didn't think the service was sophisticated although I didn't expect it to be. The refrigerator was very old and so we thought it wasn't worth it. I thought it was odd that they didn't use their own dolly. They saw our dolly and asked if it was okay to use our, it seemed funny to me. They were fine because they were cheap enough and the price was right but you have be sure you understand what you are paying for. I had no trouble with their politeness and they were nice and he seemed apologetic for charging me more. They were very nice and sweet. The price was good.

It was an awesome service. At times, there was a single employee working. But additional staff came to make moving heavier items possible. They were polite, careful with my possessions, and very willing to haul away, for an additional price. The garage looks better than it has ever looked, so it was an excellent value.

I have used this company three times in the past year as we cleaned out a rental property. They have always been quick to respond and always arrived when expected. They even went into the basement to carry up heavy objects we needed to dispose of. Very professional. I highly recommend them and will use them whenever I need junk removed.

It was easy to set up an appointment. They were a little late, but once they were here they were fast and removed the junk, as promised. I got this done though the $99 Big Deal. The catch was I didn't know my pile was 3/8ths load rather than 1/4 load the deal covered. They charged the difference of $68, but at that price, I would rather have rented a truck and done the work myself. I think this is more a problem with the Big Deal concept than with Hunks Removing Junk as a provider. Their prices seemed high, so if I had the deal I might use them, but if I didn't, I'd do the work myself.

I purchased a coupon for 1/4 truckload of removal. Called and got it scheduled immediately. They even provided a quote on-site for anything that was over the limit I paid for. That quote was very fair and they did all the work! Great job guys.

It was great knowing they would donate anything usable. Very friendly from start to finish!

They came four hours late. I found the Big Deal to be a bit misleading because I thought they would be removing my junk, but instead they just took everything out, washed the garage and put it all back. I had to pay an extra $531 for them to actually remove my junk.

The worked was done exactly as I wanted with no trash or debri left behing

We had a bit of trouble with scheduling as noted by others in that the first time we were scheduled, they could not make it because they were running behind that day. But, I was ok with it because they called before my actual appointment to tell me they were going to be late and then ultimately had to reschedule. However, they were very prompt at rescheduling and came right on time the second time. Owen did a great job with the junk removal. Very courteous and professional. My highest ratings!
