All Day Haul Away

They showed up at my home promptly within the time slot we arranged. They were very courteous and easy to talk to. I communicated what I needed removed from my basement and they immediately set themselves to the task. They removed everything from the basement much quicker than I expected them to. I still had some room on the truck to fill, so I asked them to grab a few more piles of junk I've had lying around my garage for a while as well, which they did gladly. The whole service was completed in under an hour and I couldn't be happier with the end results! These guys are great. I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking to unload some extra junk or clutter from around their house in an expedient and cost effective way.

They were prompt, efficient and polite.

Two guys came to the house and were very helpful in getting the items they were taking away. I had a disassembled trampoline around the back of the house and they hauled all the pieces up. They were friendly and fast.

My experience was perfect, as always. They are easy to work with. They are very accommodating about the items I wanted hauled away. They are very pleasant and they are one favorite vendors to use.

It went perfectly fine. They were very professional. I bought a $89 coupon, had a little more junk than the coupon covered, and also paid about $60 in recycling fees for the electronics. Well worth it!

They arrived ahead of schedule, were quick, courteous, and it filled up less of their truck than I expected. What I hadn't known was that there is a recycling fee for many of these items which added to the cost. Understandable, but I wasn't expecting it.

They were scheduled to arrive between 2-3. I called at 2:15pm to be sure they were coming and was advised the truck was heading my way. At 3:10 I received a call from the driver indicating they were on their way and it would be about 30 minutes. They arrived in the timeframe advised and were very courteous in assessing what needed to be hauled away. When it came to the final cost, I was a bit taken aback by the cost when adding in all the recycling fees, plus I had bought a Groupon for $115 worth of service and it was still almost $300. Nonetheless, I needed the stuff gone so they loaded it all up and took it away within 20 minutes. The gentlemen were very kind and did a great job, but it was more expensive than I had originally expected.

Easy to work with. Met all expectations of service. Would use this company again. I do recall is that it was a good, fair price. Not overpriced.

I bought a Deal for "4 cubic feet of junk removal" by this company on June 15 2014. Almost immediately following I received an email, through Angie's List, asking for a number of dates that would work best for the date of the "junk removal" service to be scheduled. I filled out the three most convenient dates/times, submitted them and waited to be contacted from the company for confirmation. Angie's List send me a follow up email a few weeks later asking if I had heard from the company - no I had not. Angie's list had me complete the availability for removal questionnaire. Again, a few weeks pasted and nothing from "Hunks Removing Junk." Luckily for the little I had to remove my roofing contractor allowed me to throw it into our dumpster when we had our shingles replaced. Angie's List was helpful in returning my request for a refund for the deal I had purchased. My suggestion: If you purchase the deal or have a lot of "junk" to be removed, be proactive in contacting the company. They will not reach out to you through Angie's List.

I had pulled most of the items to the driveway because I had the time to do so. I did ask them to move one piece of furniture from the basement. They also removed an old computer w/ monitor. The recycling fee for the monitor was $25-30. They did a great job. Friendly, professional.

They were very professional and polite. They confirmed they did the job correctly prior to leaving.

It was done in a quick and quiet manner

Honestly, it couldn't be more frustrating. They are incredibly late, don't know where they are going and when you call the main number to find the status, the response is always "they'll be right there!" But they won't be right there anytime soon. The first time I called them they said they'd be there between 12-1 and 1:00 came and they still were there. So I left and rescheduled it for the following day. This time they left a larger window and said it'd be between 10-12, and I again called at 12:45, and I got the "they'll be right there!". Then I called again at 1:20 and was told "they'll be right there!" to which I said "that's what you told me 40 minutes ago". Finally, at about 2:00 they showed up with a pretty small cart that doesn't hold much at all. That cost $377. Then I arranged a pick up for the next day and spoke directly to them about being the first pickup at 9:30: and promptly at 9:30. I received a call just before 9:30 telling me they'd be twenty minutes late. at 10:10 I get a call from the driver saying he is now at the incorrect address which is about 10 blocks away (they went to a North address went it was South). I get another call 10:40 from someone with a 507 area code and tell him I have to call him back (I was on another phone call). They still aren't here. Now I phone the direct number and talk to the main scheduler. I reiterate to him that we agreed to have them here at 9:30 and that it is now 10:45 and they still aren't here to which he states, "Yes, they are! They are right there!" Well they aren't because I don't see any truck and, furthermore, that's what he always says. What they are is still lost. He gets on the phone with them and says, "the one guy called but you hung up on him but he needs directions!" A blatantly false statement because I not only told him I'd call back but did only to receive his voice mail. And I called back the first driver and got his voice mail as well. Overall, this is a horrid experience with this company. They are always late and consistently BS you. Frankly, they can't even haul that much in the first place. Really disappointing. Craig Bednar

It went very well, they were very open to the time I wanted them to come and showed up right on time. There was no hassle, muss, or fuss. I recommend them highly.

Called Hunks removing Junk earlier in the week and asked them to show up on Saturday. They gave us a time slot of 10-11 for arrival. They got here early, ready to work.They first gave us an idea of how much it would be to haul it all in case wanted to revamp it a bit. They also let us know, before putting on the truck, which items would have an extra charge. We had quite a bit of unwanted or needed items ready for them in the garage and some building materials in the basement. They started loading it up from the garage then went downstairs and made a few trips up with the items ready down there. They didn't goof around, the just worked hard. They were thoughtful on how they arranged items on the truck so as to not "loose" anything on their way to wherever they were taking it. Pleasant young men working hard getting the job done.

It turned out very well. They did a good job. They hauled away construction materials after I finished my project. It only took them 30-45 minutes and there were 2 guys.

As advertised. The scheduling was annoying. They asked when I wanted them to come, I gave them a date/time preference, they didn't respond. I e-mailed again to ask about this. No response until the following afternoon, at which point I got four increasingly agitated e-mails in less than 20 minutes, wanting to know if the next day at 11 a.m. would work. Once the hunks arrived, they did a fine job, cheerfully loading up a bunch of heavy stuff with no complaints.

They were very friendly and professional.

It went well. I bought the deal on 5/18, and they contacted me the same day. Pick up was scheduled within a day or two - very quick and provider was very friendly on phone. I wasn't there when it occured so I didn't meet anyone as the Bagster full of construction and other debris was outside, but everything was removed and clean when I got home.

We paid $99 for the initial amount of junk removed and then added on about $50 for more items. Prices were very fair and the service was excellent. The movers carried everything out for us and were very professional. I would definitely use them again.
