Description of Work: He was recommended by our neighborhood bank- he is their referral for all residential loans.They said everyone that used him praised the work and experience. We were hesitant but called him. Wow! Best experience and best rate at 3.25% fixed for a 30 year. We are beyond happy and recommend him to everyone. Paperwork for escrow was top notch; we know the title company and they praised Steve as well. If they needed anything it was one email or a call and it was handled. Top notch experience in the stressful home buying process.

 + -1 moreSteve and his team werevery responsive to questions and tracked details well. The appraisal was FAST, and I closed in 35 days or so from first filling out the application. I had no issues, and his closing fees, title search, and the like were quite a bit lower than my credit union.
Description of Work: I did a refinance with cash out of my home. Steve was VERY responsive, and there were no significant issues. Early on, we found some errors in my credit report that I acted on quickly, and we were able to get my credit score up 34 points in just a few weeks.

 + -1 moreFrom the initial contact, throughout the application process, approval and closing, Steve stayed in close communication and answered all my questions. He was extremely helpful!!! I searched Angie's list and had found his company and decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did. I have a lot of confidence in Steve and he won't steer you wrong!! At first just fine. When there was a problem after closing we were dropped like a hot potato.
Description of Work: New Mortgage Revision from initial review: Beware of what is promised. Inaccurate info even though I'd questioned Steve about my concern. When I told him that his advise was wrong he was extremely defensive and has not called me back with resolution. He is quick to give advice to keep the loan process moving along. My initial trust has been proven wrong. Also the corporate office is a joke for any help.

 + -1 moreAs smooth as a refinance could go, no hoops and no hassles.
Description of Work: Steve was great. I emailed him and got a response same day. We have a few brief calls to gather information and discuss what approach would be best and would save the most money. We ended up going with a 30 year refinance and after it was all said in done all my closing cost were covered and and I paid close to nothing for the whole thing. Saved about 400 a month on my mortgage and couldn't be happier. Took about 45 days based on the closing timing. The title agency who we signed our loan documents said this is one of the best loans he had seen. We were very impressed with Steve and Guaranteed Rate.
