I'm on a monthly plan so I just pay them by the month. They come out twice a year. We are really happy with them. They do a good job.

The Mr. Slim air conditioner was installed by Air Mechanical 2009/2010 subcontracted with Michael Lee design and remodel. Air mechanical came back and added an external drain the first summer we used the unit because water was dripping down the interior wall. The Mr. Slim cannot be used for more than thirty minutes without dripping. On the most recent visit from Air Mechanical, the service person wondered why Mr. Slim was installed on an interior wall. Air Mechanical installed it !! The service manager at Air Mechanical thought he knew what the problem was and promised to look into it. Over a period of several months however,we and customer relations at Mitsubishi Electric had no success in our attempts to contact the service manager. We spoke with a different contractor (found through the Mitsubishi website). He told us that proper installation for the Mr. Slim ductless AC would be on an exterior wall. Our Mr. Slim unfortunately, was installed by our contractor/subcontractor on an interior wall.

They've done a lot of work for me. They're completely professional and don't come in without their shoes covered. They're always on time. They're good all the way around. They're a little bit higher on the price.

It went fine. They recommend a new filtration system for our heating system. They made a nice presentation and we decided to do that. They had to put an order in for the parts and put it back in. I didn’t hear from them for 3 weeks and when I called them to remind them they said they would get right on that. I have never heard from them. They did good work on what they did do. It’s just surprising not hearing back from them.

Air Mechanical's office called to let us know that the technician was on his way and Jeff arrived shortly. He greeted me in a friendly manner and mentioned that he had been here at least a couple times before for furnace and air conditioner inspections. Jeff completed his work quickly and tested the operation of the furnace. He also installed a panel for the humidifier attached to our heating system. This is what the $13.00 charge was for. We have a Preferred Customer Agreement with Air Mechanical, for which we paid $444.00 for three years. We have had this agreement with them for many years now. This gives us a furnace inspection/tune-up every fall and air conditioner insprection/tune-up every spring and some discounts if any repairs are required. Air Mechanical was currently running a special on air-duct cleaning, which we did not take advantage of, but Jeff looked at our ducts and offered his opinion that they are not extremely dirty and cleaning them was not that important right now. This has been our experience with most if not all of the Air Mechanical technicians; they do not hard-sell services but merely show up on time and efficiently complete the services provided through our Preferred Customer Agreement.

Went fine except they also billed me for $74 along with Angie's list.

see above, not what we expected. we just got an estimate for work, and that cost us $74, that money is just wasted, the guy was there about 10 minutes.

The technician was friendly, helpful, and professional. The company called me an hour before the appointment time to tell me that they can come sooner, which was great. The furnace tune-up went well, and he did a thorough job cleaning everything out and making sure it was working well. He also gave me tips on how to improve the heating. Additionally, he gave me a quote on some preventative repairs that they recommended I make. One other reason I called them was to get an assessment of some heating problems I had in the basement. He was able to give me an option on how to fix the problem and provided me with a quote for that as well.

Fast service. No mess. Quick install. No problems.

It went well. The tech came and checked the furnace and air conditioner and found: Blower motor leaking oil--replaced Contacts pitted and rusted--replaced Capacitor replaced Needed coolant So now we should be set. The tech, Kirk, was very professional. We have been a customer for awhile and would recommend Air Mechanical to others.

The service technician Jeff arrived on time, greeted me cordially, and went right to work. He checked all of the A/C components and completed a 10-point checklist and patiently answered our questions after he was finished. We have a preferred customer agreement with Air Mechanical for which we paid $444.00 for three years. That includes an A/C insprection and tune-up in the spring and a furnace inspection and tune-up in the fall and some discounts for any repairs that need to be done. We have had a relationship with Air Mechanical for many years and have always been happy with their service regardless of what technician comes out.

The coupon says service call and diagnostic pluming services.I had a drippy faucet in the kitchen that I wanted repaired.Bought the Angies list big deal for 74.00.I also wanted the plumming in the house checked out .Everything is working but I wanted to pros to check it out and if repairs were needed I could have repairs done while they are here.When the plumbers arrived I showed them the coupon and I asked whats covered?.I was told nothing .This is just to show up.The faucet in the kitchen required a new seal.Over 200.00 for a new seal.I have a drain pipe in the down stairs bathroom replaced just to improve appearance.200.00 Final Bill over 400.00 plus 74.00 of coupon cost.Total bill for faucet seal replacement and drain pipe replacement over 500.00 But what got me the most is a quote for future total kitchen faucet replacement.600.00 And once they left I discovered that the drain mechanism in the down stairs bathroom now rubs again the back of the vanity cabinet. This is an A rated company?Not in my book

Salesperson was prompt and knowledgeable with professional demeanor. Air Mechanical is a highly rated, full-service, reputable company offering quality products. While Air Mechanical was certainly a contender, we ultimately chose a smaller, local firm for installation and service.

Very professional installation. It did take a little longer than expected but it wasn't the fault of Air Mechanical. The well drillers were late in showing up because of the late spring putting them behind on a prior job, but once they arrived everything went together quickly. We have been using the new system for a year now and it performed well during one of the coldest winters on record. I'm sure that we saved a lot in energy costs compared to the old system that we had. It also cools the house very efficiently in the summer.

Everything was great except for the price. I had an emergency leak on the 2nd floor, and they did a good job repairing it. It's held up fine since then.

It went very well. They did a great job. The only issue was with the third party electrician how hooked up a ground wrong which when I plugged my electronics back in it fried them. His insurance though reimbursed me.

I was happy to have the fumes out of my home, but I was displeased with how it was handled. I wished that during my initial call there would have been a checklist of suggestions to offer me. Had I known about the snow being a factor in my fumes problem, and being the capable person that I am, I would have gladly removed the snow from my house. Had I done it on my own, I would have had the fumes gone by 5pm and it would not have been an out of pocket expense of $311. I couldn't believe it when I saw that the technician charged me $3 for the shovel he used to clear the snow away, plus $88 for the few minutes it took him to remove the snow. The technician never even mentioned the snow could be my problem nor did he give me an opportunity to remove the snow on my own. The following Monday, I called Air Mechanical to share my concerns about the cost as well as being disappointed about the situation because I felt taken advantage of. I was offered a $40 refund with no explanation as to how that number was arrived at, so I inquired. I was contacted by Jim and he explained I was given a credit from $220, which is the emergency extended charge down to $180, which is the normal charge. I thanked Jim for the $40, but told him it was only a band aid. Jim was very kind in dealing with me and I could tell that he operates in good faith. As a consumer, this means a lot to me. After sharing my story with Jim, I felt truly heard by him. I liked that it was important for him to do what he knew to be right as long as he knew I, too, was acting in good faith. I assured him I was. Jim kindly reimbursed me an additional $172, which was fair and reasonable. I would definitely refer Air Mechanical to my friends and family! Thank you, Jim!

Our home had a 30yr old furnace and a very old AC unit so we decided to get them replaced. We got 4 bids total and Air Mechanical was priced in the middle of our bids. We chose Air Mechanical because we felt they were very knowledgeable, provided good products and a good warranty. The job itself took one day and the guys cleaned after themselves very well. We would hire them again without question.

They're probably as expensive as anybody.

Good and Friendly service. Only real issue is the actual repair cost us about $225/hr... a little steep, but about what everyone else charges for the fix.

It was $184 for their service plan. They had a special going on at that time which was water heater flushing and that's what I wanted. I didn't want the service plan. I didn't set out to get a service plan, but when they threw in water heater flush, then it made sense to just have the furnace and the air conditioning looked at, at least once a year and that's what that plan took care of. If I had to tell someone about this provider, I would tell them to have them verify the services. What he said over the phone and what the serviceman did when he was at my house were two different things. He told me that he would be testing each one of the drains to see to what capacity they were capable, if they were plugged or not plugged and he came and said that he was just to check the faucets to see if they were sealed and I don't remember anything like that. I can work on that myself. He was there on time.

We use them on a yearly basis. They're pretty good. The job was satisfactory and pretty good. They came in on time and made sure everything is right and fixed what was required to be fixed. They're prompt on their service. The quality is pretty good.

They were polite and friendly, they were pretty good. I told him that he could leave his shoes on and he said, "No" and he took them off anyway. He was very professional. The pricing was okay because at first he thought it was going to be $500 and he checked and checked again and it was only $184, which was a blessing. They came early and I had to leave. They called me and I turned around and came back and they waited about 30 min for me.

All that he did should have resulted in a more efficient operating furnace. So should the 4" filter. Even though the filters cost more they last longer so that I may even save money and have cleaner air.
