They do a very good job. They do arrive on time and do quality work. They are very friendly. They took the time to explain things to me. They cleaned up well they were done when they said they would be.

I was already considering upgrading to a high efficiency furnace when my old furnace stopped working on a cold MN night. So even though I was only without heat for a day and a half, I spoke to a total of six HVAC consultants, and Brad was by far the most knowledgeable and thorough. After finding Air Mechanical through Angie's List, I called them the afternoon of the next day, and Brad came out to my house that evening. He offered me a great product at a great price and Air Mechanical was able to do the installation the next day (Brad even loaned me an extra space heater for the night). Brandon and Jeff did a fine job with the installation. Besides energy efficiency, the new furnace is far quieter than the old one, and the furnace + control combo does a fine job of tightly controlling heat and humidity.

The entire experience with Air Mechanical was FANTASTIC! Our furnace died on Feb 13. I was in a bit of a panic. It was COLD, my wife just left town, and my mother-in-law was in our home watching the girls. Then my luck turned for the best. I called Air Mechanical and talked to someone in the office who was very nice. (I missed the name in my frenzied state.) He told me Scott, an on call technician, would arrive in an hour. Right on time! He diagnosed the furnace: roughly $500 to fix the blower, but it was pretty old and I may want to replace the unit. Brad Link was out the next morning at 8:00am with my options. He was VERY helpful explaining the pros and cons of each system. No pressure! By noon Rob and Brandon were on site replacing the system. The PVC piping didn't necessarily have to be replaced, but they said no additional cost and they wanted to make sure the job was done right. They worked until 10:15pm on Valentines Day to finish the job. Unbelievable! I won't use anyone else!

Job 1: As usual, the Air Mechanical service technician arrived as scheduled and performed the work, leaving a copy of the checklist they use to inspect the air conditioner. Job 2: We scheduled the furnace inspection, and the service technician (Rich) arrived on time. He treated my wife courteously and provided a checklist of the things he checked. Although we usually pay $25 for the humidifier panel, Rich charged us only for the part this time -- $11.18.

It turns out there was no problem. Our filter was very clogged from recent remodeling work. We paid $90 to be told "change your filter." While it's good to know there wasn't a bigger (more expensive) problem, it was a little frustrating to be charged the full trip charge amount for no work, especially since we were prior customers who spent $2700 for a HVAC installation.

Brad Link provided a better AC unit quote than two other Angie's List members for less money. Installers were on time, cleaned up everything and finished ahead of schedule. Pleasant and professional installers. Brad developed his quote after carefully studying my house square footage and window sizes. He asked for my business several times without being pushy, then called back next day. I then referred my brother to him for an AC and Heating replacement and received an extra $100 off my price. I would recommend Air Mechanical without hesitation.

The service provider was very courteous and professional.

They answered any questions I had. They were very good.

Initial calls and the estimate visit were great; timely, informative, etc. But my sales person left the company and nobody picked up her files or checked her voice mail. I finally called the main number to follow up. They sent another sales person the same day, and I was able to schedule my installation one week later. The installation was quick (one day for all of the work) and it looks good. The only complaint (and it's small) was that the installers had some discretion as to where to relocate the supply on the first floor. They didn't center it in the space they chose to place it. Still functional, but the appearance would be better if centered.

Past positive experiences with Air Mechanical encouraged us to renew our Preferred Customer Agreement Program with them for three years, instead of one year as we had been doing. When my wife called them, they scheduled the air conditioner service within a few days of her call. They called before coming out and showed up as scheduled. All of the tech staff from Air Mechanical have always been professional and efficient.

EVERYTHING WENT FINE. THE TECHNICIAN ARRIVED DURING THE SCHEDULED TIME SLOT. HE WAS COURTEOUS AND KNOWLEDGEABLE, ANSWERING SEVERAL QUESTIONS THAT I HAD ABOUT MY HEATING SYSTEM. HE ASKED QUESTIONS WHEN APPROPRIATE AND EXPLAINED WHAT HE WAS DOING AND WHY HE WAS DOING IT. AT THE END OF HIS SERVICE VISIT, HE EXPLAINED HIS FINDINGS AND LEFT HIS WORK AREA CLEAN AND TIDY.

AIR MECHANICAL PROMPTED US TO SCHEDULE A FURNACE INSPECTION. WE PAY AN ANNUAL FEE FOR THE AIR CONDITIONER TUNE-UP IN THE SPRING AND FURNACE INSPECTION IN THE FALL SO THERE WAS NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE FOR THIS INSPECTION. ALTHOUGH MY WIFE MENTIONED TO THEM THAT WE WANTED THE HUMIDIFIER PANEL REPLACED WHEN SHE SCHEDULED THE APPOINTMENT, RICH DID NOT HAVE ONE WITH HIM. HOWEVER, AIR MECHANICAL CALLED LATER AND SCOTT CAME OUT WITHIN A FEW DAYS AND REPLACED THE PANEL. ALL WE PAID FOR WAS THE COST OF THE PANEL. AIR MECHANICAL'S SERVICE STAFF HAVE ALWAYS BEEN APPARENTLY HONEST WITH US, CONSIDERATE OF MY WIFE WHO IS BLIND, AND EFFICIENT. WE PLAN TO RENEW THE PREFERRED CUSTOMER ARRANGEMENT WHEN THE TIME COMES IN THE SPRING. THE COST OF THIS AGREEMENT WAS $159.00. THE $25 LISTED ABOVE IS THE COST OF THE PANEL WHICH IS ALL WE HAD TO PAY ON THIS VISIT.

THEY ARRIVED ON TIME. VERY PROFESSIONAL. COMPLETED THE WORK IN A VERY TIMELY MANNER. MADE SURE EVERYTHING WAS PUT BACK IN IT'S PLACE AND CLEANED UP.

JOB 1: AIR MECHANICAL'S TECHNICIANS SHOWED UP WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD. BOTH MEN, BOB AND BRANDON, WERE FRIENDLY AND CONSIDERATE, BEING CAREFUL TO PROTECT THE FLOOR THEY HAD TO WALK ACROSS TO GET TO THE BASEMENT. THEY APPEARED TO KNOW THEIR STUFF, COMPLETING THE WORK QUICKLY AND EXPLAINING TO ME CLEARLY HOW TO OPERATE AND CARE FOR THE HUMIDIFIER. WE HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH THE HUMIDIFIER SINCE IT WAS INSTALLED. I DOUBT THAT THEY ARE THE CHEAPEST COMPANY AROUND, BUT WE HAVE BEEN HAPPY WITH ALL OF THE WORK THAT THEY HAVE DONE FOR US. JOB 2: SCOTT CAME OUT AS SCHEDULED. HE HAS BEEN HERE ONCE OR TWICE BEFORE AND IS ALWAYS FRIENDLY AND COURTEOUS. WHILE HE WAS SPRAYING OFF OUR AIR CONDITIONER, HE ALSO SPRAYED OFF OUR TOWN HOME NEIGHBOR'S UNIT FOR FREE. EACH OF OUR EXPERIENCES WITH AIR MECHANICAL HAS BEEN POSITIVE.

HE WAS VERY INFORMATIVE ON WHAT I REALLY NEEDED TO INSTALL MY CERAMIC FLOOR WARMERS. HE WAS NOT PUSHY WITH ANYTHING TO SELL ME. VERY HELPFUL.

THE COMPANY SENT SOMEONE OUT THE SAME DAY I CALLED. THE PERSON I SPOKE WITH WAS HELPFUL AND EXPLAINED THEIR PLAN OPTIONS WITHOUT ANY PRESSURE TO BUY MORE THAN I THOUGHT WE NEEDED. SHE HAD SOMEONE AVAILABLE TO COME OUT THAT SAME DAY AND I IMMEDIATELY CALLED MY WIFE TO BE SURE SHE WOULD BE HOME. THEIR TECHNICIAN, JOSH STEWART, WAS CORDIAL AND COURTEOUS TO MY WIFE, COMPLETED THE SERVICE EFFICIENTLY, AND DID NOT TRY TO SELL A BUNCH OF EXTRA REPAIRS. THE SERVICE AGREEMENT ALSO INCLUDES 15% DISCOUNT ON ANY REPAIRS NEEDED DURING THE YEAR AND NO PREMIUM CHARGES FOR AFTER-HOUR SERVICES.
