They did exactly what they promised

I called on Monday (23 August) and was able to have the service done two days later (we could have had it sooner if we'd been at home). The woman I spoke with was very nice. The exterminator arrived within the timeframe that was agreed upon, did her thing, and explained some preventive maintenance to us. It was a great experience all the way through--they didn't try to sell us services that we didn't need either. We will use them again.

The technician was professional, cordial and efficient. She looked at the ants that we had seen and asked where we had seen them. She determined what kind of ants they were, and which pesticides were most appropriate. She sprayed around the perimeter of the house, put some pesticide in the downstairs basement where they were most prevalent, and sprayed in the electrical outlets on outer walls. In getting the electrical outlets, she took care of removing and replacing the outlet covers. We may have seen one or two ants in the day after she sprayed, but we have seen none since then.

They were clean and professional. They did the job well, but it took them a long time to bill me. It took 60 days before I got the bill, and the work was fairly expensive. We had gone for heat treatment instead of just spray poison. There are no bugs anymore.

They were wonderful. Once they caught the mouse for me, I sent a long and funny obituary about the mouse to them. They published it in their monthly newsletter and sent it to other companies. The President of the company wrote back to me to tell that it was really hilarious. I hadn?t expected them to reply to me. They were definitely different.

We pay them quarterly. They come and check for pests that come into our house. They plug all the holes in our house and in the summer they try and keep the insects away as we live in a wooded area. We really like them.

When I first contacted Plunketts because of a mouse problem, and they routed directly to someone who strictly handles Angies List customers. Everyone I talked to was extremely nice and professional. From the time I contacted Plunketts, it only took a couple days for Plunketts to come out for the first scheduled visit. He was very nice, extremely knowledgeable, and explained everything very thoroughly. He found multiple entry points and explained how to seal them up. We followed all of his instructions, which worked wonderfully. However, we still have heard mice from time to time, from the ones already in our house. We called Plunketts again, and they had a technician at our house within an hour! He identified where they were, removed all of the dead ones, and set more traps. In addition to all of this, we have seen a dramatic decrease in the number of insects in our house after only one visit from them. I'm very impressed with their pest control service, their technicians, and their customer service. I would absolutely recommend them to family and friends!

The issue has been resolved. It is just one individual company. We have used him several times. I would hire him again in future.

They have been working for me for a very long time. I am okay with changing them, but, that does not mean that I do not like them. I have had a mouse problem for two years and they just can not seem to fix it and that concerns me. I had to tell him to do certain things that he should have known to do.

It was just one time spray. The carpenter ants were chewing through the decking and it led to the house. They found the nest and it was a small nest. He was very accommodating with the pricing; his original estimate was $300 but when he saw what was going on he amended it to $180. They did a marvelous job. I don?t see any carpet ants now. They did a good job explaining how the carpenter ants nest and how they actually work in the colony. They said that there is a satellite nest in the area but they don?t know its exact location. Our house has been treated and protected but they have told us what to look for in case they come back. They said if it comes back in certain period of time they will re-spray around our house. I called another company but they said they couldn?t get off here for days but Plunkett?s came out the very next day. I will certainly use them the next time and not bother to call any other company.

They are pleasant and honest, and seem to have a good success rate with the job. The guys who come out are very knowledgeable and helpful, and they do a good job. I?ve been very happy with them.

Went very well. The gentleman answered all of our questions.

We ended up using another company because Plunkett's was not responsive in setting up an appointment. I left a message on a Monday evening and received a return call from the office on Tuesday morning. They took my information and were very helpful in answering my questions. They said the typical turnaround time for an appointment was 2-3 days and I would be called back by the person who serviced that area. When I hadn't heard back by Thursday afternoon, I called again and they left a message for the rep. I called back on Friday morning and they again left a message for the rep. I did hear back from him that day but by then had found another company (on Angie's List) and scheduled an appointment for that same day. I can understand that work may have backed up but, as a customer, I expected them to contact me to set my expectations. That didn't happen and I found another company that did a better job at customer service.

In one visit he was able to take care of the problem. They were very efficient and thorough. He also stated that if he needed to come out again it would be at no cost.

They were very down to earth, personable and thorough. They explained everything pretty well.

Plunkett's Pest Control has done a very good job. We had a major roach problem, and since they have been coming we don't have a problem anymore. We pay them yearly. They are always here when they are supposed to be. They Let me know exactly what they are going to do, and how much it will cost.

We have been using them for about 3 years now. We have a contract with them. They are extremely responsive, reliable, very friendly & I will continue to use them in the future.

They were very responsive to my contacting them. I had a call the day after I contacted them and for one reason or another they gave me a 10% discount. They were also very good about getting the technician out quickly, he made it to my house within forty-eight hours. The technician was very friendly and professional, finding all the problems and making recommendations for future pest problems. Since they visited we have not had any infestations to speak of. As a part of their service they offered us green options for the work, and they were one of the few companies that I had found that did that.

We had hornets building a nest between our siding and the wall of our house. The technician sprayed and then smoked them out and sprayed again. He stayed for a while to make sure there weren't any coming back and made sure to tell us to call them to come back if we saw any more hornets. They were taken care of, and we did not have to call for additional spraying. Overall, it was very efficient and done well.

Great-the exterminator arrived at my home on time, took a look at the ants I'd collected to confirm the type, and then sprayed where appropriate. I was advised that if I continued to see ants that I should call back in about 2 weeks-but I didn't. Fortunately, one treatment was all that was required to solve my problem.

Plunkett's was extremely responsive - they worked with me to show up within 24 hours of my call. The representative was extremely professional and friendly.

They showed up a day early and did exactly what they said they were going to do for the price that they quoted.

Scott came out one day after I called and killed all the yellow jackets in my yard. He called to keep me updated on his arrival time. He was very professional and friendly.

I realized I might have an insect problem, when I kept noticing sawdust by a basement glass-block window. I called Plunketts, and they arranged for a service tech to stop by several days later when I planned to be at home. He examined everything carefully, treated the problem and cleaned up all the sawdust. He also told me where I needed to caulk, in order to prevent ants to come in, in the future.
