I am extremely satisfied with the work that was done. Black Bear Builders was able to get it done in a very timely fashion, at a fair price, and the work was top notch. Black Bear Builders is always my first choice when having any kind of work done on my house.

It went great. They worked with our schedule and the tight closing date to test the home before we closed on our home. They were very quick and professional. They went above and beyond to help us!

Flawlessly. Prior to doing anything - the entire process was thoroughly explained. What was explained was exactly what was done. Everything was done in a very timely manner. There was NOTHING for me to clean-up after. Best of all work was done outside and I specifically requested that a small patch of plants - right smack where the ladder needed to be - not be disturbed..... and it was NOT disturbed. I really appreciate that our home and yard were treated respectfully.

I can't say enough good things about Stewart and Black Bear Builders. Stuart was able to detect and mitigate the radon levels in our home. He was able to explain everything thoroughly and the work was done promptly and efficiently. Although Black Bear Builders was a little bit higher on the quotes than other service providers, I feel we got an exceptional value for our money. I trust Stuart in my home when I'm not there and I trust his expertise. He has also in the past, redone a kitchen and bathroom for me. He was also able to work with our insurance provider on two occasions. Worth every dollar invested with him.

I was very pleased! Very professional. I felt comfortable with the owner . I know my job was the largest - but he said he would help. The Black Bear employee arrived on time on the appointed day - and went to work. I had to head to work and when I arrived home the project had been completed. Everything was clean, and in order. The doors closed - and the basement window had been re-set and caulked - and looked great! Owner Stuart Cleaveland contacted me the next day and asked if he could come and check out the work. I was impressed. He also brought along a new door stop and installed it for me. And I so appreciated Black Bear's honesty. When I received the invoice for the work -it was for a less amount than the bid. Stuart explained it was because the project didn't take as long as he had anticipated. Needless to say - I don't think that happens very often. I know Black Bear specializes in larger projects - so I really appreciated their willingness to do my project. And it was so well done. I would hire them again!

Stuart worked with us to come up with great solutions to fix our water damaged kitchen. There were a few issues as there are in any project, but he resolved everything to make sure we were happy and kitchen looked great!

Stuart did an exceptional job. Very professional and came prepared! I will definitely being contacting him again. He also built a 2ft x 2ft x 5" high riser for the outside wall for the dog door. This was so the inside/outside transition through the dog door would be level. This was at NO COST to me. - Nice Touch! If you want a honest, hard working professional, you can't go wrong with Black Bear Builders.

Showed up on time, gave us many options to work with, facilitated other contractors for us. Came weekly to see how things were going.

Everything was find. He had to bet a special attachment to fasten the cement to the railing.

Stuart came to our home initially to look at the projects we needed to complete. He was friendly and professional, neatly dressed and seemed very trustworthy. We discussed the costs and he offered us some ways to save a little money by getting the area ready and emptied before the work began. When he came back the following week to complete the projects as scheduled, he was organized and got everything done with very little muss and fuss, and left the house as clean as when he came. We are thrilled with our new organization and storage in the closet, and the coat rack is very sturdy and useful. We are very pleased wth the work done, and would feel comfortable recommending Black Bear Builders to any of our friends.
