The first door that was put in was the wrong door, after I specifically asked the installer to check before taking my door out. They reordered and put a rush on it and it took longer to get the 2nd door than the first door. They were going to expedite my order and let me know if they were able to and they never called me back. My installer wasn't very professional, and the second time a family member showed up at my house to see him.

Nothing was purchased because of their incompetence.

The installation of both the door and window were done well. No complaints!

My experience with them was fine all the way through.  It was a very good service nothing spectacular.  The installation went very good.  They made a mistake in measuring the door while ordering and so it had to be reordered.  But that wasn’t a big deal.  The people who came to do the work were real good and prompt.  They did a good job.

They have a good reputation, are reliable and stick to their warranties.

Their customer service was excellent. They were great to work with and Paula and Leslie in particular. They were very responsive, friendly and professional. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

Measure occurred a few weeks ago. They use a computer program to determine the best layout. Installers were very professional and took care not to track dirt in the house. I expected at least one seam and possibly two, based on the size of the rooms. They installed the carpet without any seams, through french doors. Installation was professional and looks great.

We were quite satisfied with them and my overall experience with them was good. They did a fine job and we didn't have any problems with them.

They were very knowledgeable, very thorough, and very professional. They gave us suggestions. Overall, we were very pleased with them.

The Home Depot carpet sales woman pointed me to the carpet spindle that was their best value - nylon, Stainmaster, 25-yr-warranty. I really liked the quality of the $3.18/SF nylon frieze w/Stainmaster and 25-yr warranty, which I bought for my F/R, but they didn't have the color I needed for my L/R,D/R,hall,stairs,MBR. They had the color I wanted in the lower quality $1.98/SF nylon frieze w/Stainmaster and 25-yr warranty, so I took a chance as it looked pretty nice on the large sample, just thinner than the better carpet. It is now installed and it looks FABULOUS!!! When my house was measured for the carpet, the measurer used a computerized "gadget" that calculated and made the best layout of the carpet so there was the least amount of waste. When I placed my order, the sales person reviewed where all the seams would be, so that I could approve or change if I wanted (but the seams were already in the best places possible). The seams are invisible. Once the carpet was ordered, I was given an estimated arrival date. Home Depot then called when the carpet was in to set up installation. The installation crew called the night before installation and gave me a two hour window of arrival and arrived on time. Installers were professional and the installation is great - I can't see any seams. The carpet looks soooooooooooooo nice and is soft on the feet. I think this was really good value.

Purchased a new kitchen faucet in the store and bought prepaid installation ($145). Installer was to call in two days but it took 4. Arranged a 4 hour window for the appointment. After two hours into the appointment they called and said technician was on the way. He showed up in 30 minutes. Discussed alternatives we had to installation and discovered a leak in a hot shot dispenser that he was to reattach. We decided not to keep hot water dispenser. Had a terrible time getting out the old faucet - had to drill off the retaining nut. Worked two hours and cleaned up. After he left I read the installation instructions and found the water line to the spray was to be flushed before attaching the spray - this was not done. Everything seems to be in good order. He was very personable and had a very tough job that was done well.

The service person was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They were not pushy. We saved a bunch of money doing blinds this way.

The materials were delivered in a big pile in my yard(one disadvantage because the local lumberyard would deliver the materials as needed)as the building process went on I found out why the bid was so cheap. There were over $2,500 in materials missing from the bid. So that initial $6600 lower cost, ended up costing me over $9000. When I went back for extra pieces, they tried charging me more than what the other pieces had cost me originally. They said they had to get them from a different supplier ,because that company refused to sell to H.D. until they paid their bill for a couple months. I went and purchased the rest of the stuff from my local lumberyard, for less that what H.D. was trying to charge me. I called the Management at the Eden Prairie store when I was done and told them my experience and they said they would send me out a coupon 10% discount for my next purchase, which never came. I recommend that you do not special order anything from the H.D. in Eden Prairie.

Home Depot subcontracted someone to install window shades & they did a great job. They showed up on time, at a fair price, & I'd recommend them to anyone!

AFTER WAITING TWO MONTHS FOR OUR CARPET TO ARRIVE, THE INSTALLER SHOWED UP AT 7:30 A.M., PULLED UP THE CORNERS OF THE EXISTING CARPET, AND TOLD US THEY COULDN'T DO THE JOB BECAUSE OF THE 9 INCH TILE UNDERNEATH. AND THEN THEY SAID SORRY AND LEFT TO DO ANOTHER JOB. THIS IS AFTER WE SPENT THE PREVIOUS DAYS COMPLETELY EMPTYING OUR LOWER LEVEL (LOTS OF FURNITURE IN TWO BEDROOMS AND A FAMILY ROOM). I ASKED THEM WHY THE PERSON WHO MEASURED THE ROOMS TWO MONTHS EARLIER HADN'T LOOKED FOR PROBLEMS THAT MIGHT PREVENT INSTALLATION, AND THEY SAID, "I DON'T KNOW. HE SHOULD HAVE." THEY ALSO LEFT WITHOUT REPLACING SIX INTERIOR DOORS THAT THEY HAD REMOVED FROM THE HINGES IN PREPARATION FOR THE INSTALL. WE HAD CARPET INSTALLED BY DAYTONS IN THE LOWER LEVEL SIX YEARS AGO AND NEVER EXPERIENCED ANY PROBLEMS, SO I WAS COMPLETELY SHOCKED. HOME DEPOT REFUNDED OUR MONEY, BUT WE ARE STILL TOTALLY INCONVENIENCED WITH ALL OF OUR FURNITURE IN THE GARAGE (KIDS DISLOCATED) AND SEVERAL MISSED WORK DAYS.

WE CALLED AT NIGHT, & THEY CAME OUT EARLY THE NEXT MORNING. GREAT INSTALLATION, GREAT CLEAN UP, WITH NOT SO MUCH AS A SCREW LEFT LAYING AROUND.

A SMOOTH OPERATION BECAUSE EVERYTHING IS THERE, PEOPLE TO EXPLAIN THINGS AND SUBCONTRACT.

WE ACTUALLY HIRED THEM TO DO THE WORK, BUT THEY WERE VERY UNRESPONSIVE TO PHONE CALLS AND KEEPING US INFORMED ON THE SCHEDULING OF THE JOB, SO WE CANCELLED AND WENT ELSEWHERE.

THERE WERE PROBLEMS EVERY STEP OF THE WAY. THEIR PEOPLE ARE NOT WELL TRAINED SO WE GOT CONFLICTING STORIES ON WHAT WE NEEDED FOR CARPET AND WHO WOULD DO WHAT. WE EVENTUALLY GOT THE CARPET INSTALLED, BUT IT TOOK TOO MUCH TIME & EFFORT ON OUR PART TO MAKE SURE IT WAS DONE RIGHT.
