Sedgwick was very timely, came out on time and on schedule, provided a bid instantly that was backed up by load calculations, and even followed up with a thank-you letter the next day. However, their prices were higher than the other bids we receieved so we did not choose them for the service.

Sedgwick consistently provides professional work. Keep up the great work!

Got the project done on time, clean up was not quite as good as I expected it to be. I didn't really notice it at the time until the inspection.

I called on a Saturday afternoon, and my phone call was answered promptly by a human being. I declined immediate emergency service but made an appointment for early the next week. I was told that I would be charged $99 for the house call and additional for repairs. I was given a 3-hour window, and received a call at work, within the first hour of that window, to let me know that the technician was on his way. The technician was courteous, friendly, and professional. He kept booties on his shoes while he was in the house. He showed me his work and explained in terms I could understand how an A/C operates and what is required to keep it running smoothly. He finished the work, as outlined above, within 30 minutes. I bought a one-year service agreement for $200, which bumped $38 off the $252 total; with the service agreement I paid $414, more than I expected, but I have no problem paying for quality work.

It was easy to make an appointment. One thing I particularly liked: Todd called in the middle of my three hour "window" to inform me that the technician would be late, instead of waiting until the end of the "window" or not calling at all. The technician was pleasant and helpful. Two days later I received a $20 Target giftcard for being one of the first callers responding to their mailer.

Everything went smoothly and quickly. The salesman who came to give us an estimate spent a great deal of time looking around the house and carefully planning positioning of the ductwork. The installation guys were professional, friendly, and took care to minimize mess. There were a few spots around vents where the ceiling was damaged, and they sent someone out to fix it. The AC feels great and we already appreciate it in May!

We were totally impressed with the professionalism of Lenny when he came out and gave us an estimate for a new furnace and air conditioning unit. He measured all the window and door openings and consulted with us on the best furnace and air conditioner to meet our needs. He also gave us a bonus electronic air filter. The installers were neat and respectful of our property. They put down plastic to protect the carpet. They were timely, professional, and took time to explain how to use the new digital thermostat and they did not leave until they were assured we knew how best to use the new electronic filter and heating and air conditioning system. I would hire them again. We had two other estimates and the prices were within the same ball park but we were most impressed with the professionalism of the Sedgewick staff.

Price is for the maintenance package. They were really nice people and they took the time to show us and explain to us what is going on. They are really nice people and they don't talk down to you.

The furnace had failed to fire up on the previous heat cycle and it was 30 degrees outside so getting someone to show up within a few hours was critical. I called Sedgwick and they were very helpful, they said one of the technicians, Wayne, would be able to stop over but it would be a few hours since they had been getting a lot of service calls. Wayne called within the expected time-frame and said he was on his way over. He put on booties over his snowy wet shoes and we went to the basement. Since the furnace fired up this heat cycle there was no failed component to be found. So Wayne went through all the system checks explaining everything, cleaned the flame sensor, asked a lot of questions regarding when and what I noticed when it failed to fire up the previous time. He gave me some details regarding the red blinking diagnostic light on the control board, offered me one of their service plans and didn't make me feel guilty for saying no to it.

It was a pretty good deal and the sales person was efficient. I would hire them again.

Excellent follow up. I sent an email requesting an estimate. They called within a couple of days. They were willing to work with my schedule. The salesperson was professional and not pushy. Gave a reasonable estimate, considering what they had to offer. They sent a $25.00 Target gift card as a thank you. They sent a customer service survey as a follow-up. When I decided to go with someone else that was less expensive - for the same equipment, they offered to come out and see if they could meet my needs with less expensive equipment. Very reasonable to work with and worked hard to get my business. Would have gone with them if I could have afforded the extra cash outlay.

They did very good work. No doubt they could be one of the priciest options in the Twin Cities (as others have noted). I'm not sure it represents the best value but I am confident the job was done right. You won't be disappointed in the service but you'll certainly pay a lot for it. I would have rated them an ''A'' for overall experience but for this.

They were fabulous. They are a fantastic service. They have an extremely nice personnel and really good follow up. They are very accommodating and professional.

They were able to come out within a couple of day to take care of the problem. The problem was found in a home inspection.

Came in 2nd place - did not get work. Arrived 20 minutes late. Ducting estimators could not quote furnace/AC work -- had to schedule another estimator to come out and do that (my fault for not fully disclosing work desired on initial phone call). Would not touch wall heater for ''liability reasons''. Ducting estimate on par with other contractors. Kent is a very good salesman. Would have included free humidifier. Overall, good company. Price a little high due to, in my opinion, being a Union shop.

First, Jackie, the sales person came out to explain the process, count the vents and quote the price. I made an appointment for later that week. Two service men arrived on time. They did a good job and cleaned up when they were done. The price is very high for this service.

I obtained three furnace and a/c replacement quotes, and this company was by far the most expensive. The sales rep. was very nice but seemed sort of salesy. He drove a fatty car and wore a big diamond ring, which made me wonder if that's what I was really paying for. I went with a much less expensive company and got the same system for $2,000 less. If you are into the family name and want the top of the line equipment, maybe they will suit your needs better than mine. As a SFH (single female homeowner), price is a big deal, and it doesn't always equate to better quality.

Excellent job. They analyzed the problem. It took several trips to our home to repair the problem. They gave an estimate of the problem and it came to that amount. They gave us reasons for the problem and how to avoid it in the future.

Estimate experience was positive. When Larry discovered that he would be a bit late, he called 30 minutes in advance of the time to let me know and it was no problem. He was patient and reasonably complete; however, the pricing was about 25% higher than competitors- even one installing the same model of furnace. My other concern was the scheduling of Larry's time. He was evidently scheduled for Coon Rapids, West St. Paul, and some southern Minneapolis suburb relatively close together, making it very likely that he wouldn't make his time schedules without hurrying. While it didn't really cause any hardship, it gave me pause to think about how Sedgwick schedules bookings. This is probably my only criticism of my experience and admittedly a minor one.

Service was quick and professional: from initial service call technician to the sales rep to the installers of a new A/C. All come highly recommended. If you have the time and patience, perhaps lower prices can be found elsewhere? Talk about punctual: everyone was early (to a fault, almost).

We loved them. They were very professional. They are just wonderful people to work with. They came on time and were clean. They answered any questions that I had.

The estimate shocked me and was much higher than I expected. The sales rep. was professional and knowledgeable and insisted on measuring all of my windows, which I thought was unnecessary. I had the same job bid, and eventually it was completed by another firm for 30% less. I am sure they do a fine job, but their prices are more than I could afford to spend.

Person volunteered that staff were working today and would call me back and get out here for estimate today (I didn't specifically push for today). No one ever called.

Received an ad offering AC checkup for $111 and a Target gift card for $20 would be returned. Set up appointment easily. They were to arrive between 10 and . At 12 received call they would be late but did not know how late; should they still come. I said OK. Received a call at 2PM saying ready to come if still desired. A said OK. Arrived at 2:45. Did a thorough check of system, including cleaning from rodents being in the compressor housing.

The folks at Sedgwick are very responsive. Jake was here promptly at 7 AM and finished just after 3 PM. The removal of the old units went smoothly. They took great care to protect our walls/floors/carpets from damage. Excellent job!
