Description of Work: Took awkward items like old picnic table and grill. Also old electronic equipment and general junk.

Description of Work: "I purchased a ""Deal Coupon"" from Angie's list for this provider for $99.00. It allowed for the equivalent of 4 cubic yds of junk removed. My primary need was to have an old upright piano removed from my walk-out basement. On my initial call to the people at Junk Happens, I did let them know that I wanted to use the coupon for the piano removal a little later in the summer and they didn't mention any additional charges at that time. When I called to set up the removal, they noted that the charge for the piano would be an extra $150. This did catch me by surprise, as it hadn't been mentioned when I first called. I did agree to pay the additional amount and set up the appointment. When they came to pick up the piano, they did have a struggle to ""pick it up"" as it was extremely heavy and there were only 2 of them, with no piano moving straps or dolly. It was quite a feat, but they were able to get it to their truck and get it loaded. They also took a few other small pieces for me. I am okay with the extra charge as it was a huge undertaking, and I really wanted to get rid of it, but I would have liked to have known that there would be an extra charge ahead of time. |Both the owner and the helper were very courteous and worked really hard so I would give them an A for effort, but because I hadn't been informed about the extra cost I'd give them an A- or B."

Description of Work: I had sorted through my garage for items I didn't need anymore. There was also some old carpet and backing in a closet. They marched everything out to their covered truck. | |Fast and complete.

Description of Work: They came out and took everything we needed them to, including old wooden tiles that were 33 stories down a hill. | They got lost getting to us but they did call to tell us they would be late. | Very pleased with them and I have recomended them to others already.

Description of Work: Removed junk. Contacting them and getting a timely response was frustrating. But once we connected, everyone involved was very friendly and they took away more junk than I expected.

Description of Work: they filled their truck with our "junk" in the pouring rain..very impressed with the young men who did this.

Description of Work: They arrived when they said they would. Then they quickly loaded up my junk. They were friendly. Asked if there was more junk to get. Professional is the word.

Description of Work: they hauled stuff out of our garage and they were very nice and helpful. The only issue I had was that they charged extra for electronics and so i ended up paying more and than found out afterwards that I could have taken the electronics to our country recycling for nothing, but that was not their fault. I should have checked that before they came.

Description of Work: They were late due to an employee becoming ill the day of our scheduled pick-up. I appreciated getting the call that they would be late, and that someone would still come to pick up our stuff. Every last bit was hauled away. I felt that I got my money's worth. I would use Junk Happens again !

Description of Work: Junk Happens hauled away the neighbors junk. My only complaint is that I asked them to call me before arriving and they did not. That being said, I would use them again.

Description of Work: Removal of furniture and miscellaneous items from our basement. Everything was handled very well. They called ahead, arrived on time, were very nice. Because I had never had this done before, I was unsure about how many items would fit. It turned out there was room for even more, so I was able to get rid of additional stuff. Great service, great value!

Description of Work: We got an Angie's list deal from Junk Happens to have them remove an old couch when we got a new one, plus some damaged furniture from a basement flood. There was a bit of delay with initial contact as they were flooded with Angie's deal customers, but we set a pickup date that worked well with the new couch delivery. It worked out great for us as it was on a Saturday when we're usually home. When their crew was running late, and they let us know right away, and it was not a problem. The two crew guys were really nice, and quickly loaded up all our items, including carrying the couch down a few stairs from the living room. The rest of the stuff was in the garage, and easier for them to quickly take. Overall I was quite happy with the experience.

Description of Work: Daughter was moving and they picked up everything she wanted to get rid of. Other than some scheduling issues it went great.

Description of Work: They moved a bunch of construction debris from my garage. The initial deal that I purchased only covered 6 cubic yards and I had more then that in my garage so they gave me an honest assessment before moving anything of what the extra garbage would cost. It ended up being only $40 more so I went for it and they cleared out the garage within 30 min and even swept up when they were done! I would definitely use them again in the future!
