Great company to work with. They clean our house monthly and do a really good job.

We have had 3 cleanings -- first week was good, second week not as good, third week was good. For $150 + $20 tip per session (1 bedroom, 3 bathrooms, kitchen, living space) I would have expected a little more attention to detail. The team responded well when I asked for more attention to detail (e.g. on the sinks/counters) and it looked better on most recent experience. The crew are very kind -- though PLEASE TAKE OFF YOUR STREET SHOES!!! It feels unacceptable to come into my home and wear your dirty shoes on my carpets.

The entire process was very smooth. From the initial phone call to the actual cleaning. The team showed up on time and did a great job.

Arrived within the first 30 minutes of estimated time window. Multiple considerate workers attentive to detail and careful with delicate items. Very happy with service.

Details was very responsive, called us back the same day we requested a quote. They were able to come out the following week. We were very impressed with how everything looked. They definitely exceeded our expectations. Very affordable as well. We will definitely have them out again.

After using Details happily for more than 7 years, I've seen a pretty sharp decline in their quality in recent months. After my last sub par cleaning I spoke with their scheduler/operations manager who assured me that a supervisor would be out with the cleaning team scheduled for today and they would address my issues. Today's cleaning was somewhat better than the last one, but still sub par. A short list of issues - dusting is very spotty and I can gather a large was of dust off of my book shelves. Several other notable items were also again not dusted (decorative glass bowl on the living room coffee table, wine bottles in the wine rack). These were specifically pointed out in my call after the last cleaning. For the last six weeks (three cleanings) I've intentionally left a dry poinsettia leaf in a particular corner, it's still there. Two obvious spill stains at the foot of the stairs have also been there for at least the last three cleanings. And so on. (Also, and somewhat inexplicably, when they left today they locked the front storm door. My nephew [who's staying with us] had to let himself in through the back door.) I'm not sure what happened, but I will no longer be using their services.

All employees are trustworthy, punctual and hard working. I love coming home to a clean house! Clean kitchens and bathrooms are the best part!

Not only are the cleaning personnel efficient and expert in their work, but they are also personable, care for my home as if it were their own, and add so many nice touches like beautifully displaying my towels in the bathrooms, and my throws on chairs in living areas. When they walk in the door, their friendly greeting starts the whole experience on a positive track; they ask for the specifics of what I want done, and remember everything I have told them, working efficiently to get it all done in a timely fashion. It is regular cleaning, not the deep cleaning we are looking for.

We got them from Angie's List a few years ago. Most of the time they come every 4 weeks, sometimes we skip.

We just hired Details Home Service for monthly cleaning service. With three kids and working full time its hard to find time to actually deep clean your house. I literally walked in after work and started crying because it looked so good. I cant remember the last time I was able to clean my entire house on the same day, so walking in and having everything cleaned at the same time was an amazing feeling. I told my two oldest not to touch anything for 5 mins while I enjoyed it!! My 10 year old thought I was crazy, and my 3 year old wanted to know when he could pull his trains out :) but those 5 mins were amazing before the toys came out! :) My appliances looked as new as they did when we moved in they were so clean, and the bathrooms were spotless. Add that the baseboards and window sills were also cleaned, bedspreads perfect, blankets folded, -- it was amazing. I had 4 services bid and their pricing was great too. If you are in the market for cleaners, I highly recommend them!

I was given a 90 minute range that the cleaners would arrive, and they were there on time. They cleaned everything as requested and more. Their professionalism and thoroughness was incredible. The services provided were absolutely amazing! We couldn't believe how professional and awesome everything looked. We'll definitely be return customers for future deep cleanings. Beyond satisfied.

The day before service, I fell and dislocated my arm, so I couldn't do any of the usual pre-housecleaning pickup. The team was sympathetic and professional, did all the cleaning despite the clutter, and made sure I had a room I could go fall over in when I needed to. I was very pleased with the quality of their work -- the vacuuming, floors, bathrooms and kitchen were all lovely, and it's really nice to have a clean house while I deal with the fact that I'm down an arm. I will absolutely call them again.

They did a thorough job and were attentive to the tiniest details. We've used Details several times and will continue to do so in the future. They respond promptly to phone calls and are prompt and professional in their cleaning services. Well done, Details!

Fantastic! First appointment they were running a little late but knew that could be the case. The team of 3 did a great job of cleaning everything. They dusted all light fixtures except 2 bed lamps were overlooked. Other than that they passed my critical eye (did a stint in housekeeping out of college) even cleaning a tray in my coffee nook that I was expecting to get overlooked. I was hesitant to hire a cleaning service as I've tried two others and was disappointed and had to go back and clean everything myself. Not the case with Details Residential Services. Wish I could afford them to come biweekly or more. I would highly recommend.

It went quite well. There was a team of 3, and they were ready to get right to work. They brought all their own equipment and cleaners, and after a quick run-through of the work I wanted done, they cleaned a lot of surfaces much better than I thought they could be cleaned. It took about 3 hours, and the cost was less than $350.

Incredibly well. I was so happy with the services. The staff were prompt and very nice. The results exceeded by expectations!

I have enjoyed their skill and look forward to continuing service.

Where's the A+ Button?!? I have never had a home cleaning service before, as I always figured that I could do it myself, and was honestly skeptical about having someone come into my home. Details Residential Services changed all that! I submitted a request for a quote on their website, and was promptly reached out to by a member of their staff who was gracious, knowledgeable and answered all my questions all while being incredibly understanding of the fact that I was new to the process. I chose to sign up with the bi-weekly service, and now after my 2nd service I must say it's something I look forward to every time they're scheduled. Their teams are professional, helpful, hard working and leave my home looking like new. THANK YOU DETAILS for making my life easier, less stressful and most of all cleaner! Highly Recommended.

Used this service for approximately 8 months and found it to be of poor quality and significant lack of detail in every cleaning except the first few times. Discovered after first couple of times that they were not vacuuming under the cushions of the couch and chairs in living room and finished basement. When asked why this was not done, we were told that we had to expressly request for them to vacuum under the cushions. They did vacuum under cushions after we requested it but it was surprising to know we had to ask for this to be done. It was clear there were different people cleaning at least some of the areas in our house on every visit. One time, towels would be properly folded on rack and then the next time they would be all over the place. Some corners, behind doors and by steps almost always missed while vacuuming. Essentially, you could tell they were moving too fast through the house and not opening up their eyes or turning the lights on to see that they were missing things like cob webs and hair stuck in the corner of the bathroom floor. When I called about these issues, the response was that they would do some training and provide a reminder to the crew about the concerns. The next time, we would see some improvement but then the time after that everything would be back to the same old half-done condition. In addition, they say it is part of regular service for them to be able to put sheets on beds and make beds however there is a clear lack of training and detail in this service. One time, the sheets on one bed were put on inside-out and then the next time they were upside-down. When I complained about this, they again said they would do some training with the crew and although the sheets were never upside-down again, I can't say that I didn't have to adjust it in someway after they made the bed. When initiating service, I specifically requested that curtains, blinds or shutters be closed after cleaning them. Mostly for security purposes since we would not be home until hours after they were done and we didn't want everyone passing by to see that no one was home all day but also for energy efficiency. Usually, that was done except for a couple of times where they forgot to close the curtains in a bedroom. Then after several months, they started leaving the shutters and blinds in living room open for everyone to see that there was no one home. Final Straw: Came home to find shutters open in living room and front door completely UNLOCKED. So not only could anyone passing by see that no one was home but they could open up the door and walk right in if they wanted to anyways. When I called to cancel service and ask for a remedy or refund in regards to our house being left unsecured for several hours, the response was that no one in customer service had the ability to offer anyone a refund but that they could send someone out to clear up any issues or uncompleted tasks. My response was that it was interesting to know that they could send someone out to fix something or redo something they had missed because all of the times I had called before they NEVER offered to have someone come out and redo something.

This company is professional and clear in communication. The cleaners who come are polite, efficient and skilled. We are happy to have them in our home every four weeks.

Details Residential Services has been doing a great job for several months now and I intent to continue with them. I would have preferred that we have the same crew each time, but that is my only suggestion for improvement. Each crew has been professional and done a great job. Communication with the company is easy.

I used an Angie's List coupon for House Cleaning for a day. They did good work, and I did limit them to the 8 hours that I had paid for. They worked hard, and did a good job on what they did. I had not realized that the clock starts ticking when they pull in the driveway - so the time to bring in equipment & review the job was part of the 8 hours.

I am updating my review after reading how the company owner responded. I was overcharged by 50%, almost $150. In the invoice they sent out initially, they said three people cleaned my house when I knew only two did. They claim it was a mistake. When I first received the bill, I thought that too, but when I contacted them and asked them how many came to clean my house, they would not even look to see if it was a mistake. They just said the invoice shows three. I kept asking them to tell me how many people cleaned my house but I got no answer. Since I was not home when they cleaned, as far as they knew I didn't know how many came out to clean my house. In the owner's response to my original review, he said the problem was immediately corrected. That could not be further from truth. I contacted them several times. They finally corrected the bill only after I told them that I knew there were only two people came to my house to clean. I am also disappointed by the poor attitude displayed in the owner's response. He criticizes me saying he would rather not work with customer like me. Also, he said "the cleaning went great." How does he know cleaning went great? He was not there to check how well they cleaned. Nobody other than the two cleaning people were there. They broke an expensive glass shelving of my curio set. Several interior window panes had cloudy steaks. And I paid $35 for their "deep clean" service. Now, I am not blaming the workers. They probably did their best. I was going to forget about the broken glass shelving but I started the reimbursement process after seeing the owner's response. If the arrogance shown by the owner is any indication this company does not deserve their Angie's list rating. I hope their customers really double check their invoice.
