The work they did was fine. I was happy and satisfied.

We called A1 Accurate because we previously had them replace a broken garage door spring, and were pleased by the quick and professional service at that time. So when we noticed a fraying lift cable, it was natural to call the number listed on the sticker they left in the garage. I called on Friday for a non-urgent appointment, and a 3-hr window was setup for Saturday. Early on Saturday they called to ask if it would be OK to postpone until Sunday. We had no problem with that, because our door was still working, and other customers have urgent needs. Today the repairman arrived early within the 2-hr window. He was extremely professional and really hustled. He replaced the cables on both sides of the door in less than half an hour. In addition, he inspected the door, lubricated the rollers, and evaluated the spring and the opener. The door is working fine - we probably "dodged a bullet" by noticing the fraying cable before it broke. We may have avoided a much greater expense had the cable broken.

The service was okay. It was satisfactory. I had some additional work done.

A1 Accurate Garage Door Co. were great. They showed up on time. He actually ended up needing to find some parts, because my garage door is especially old. He was able to find those and get it working well. It is still working well.

It was excellent. My garage door was extremely noisy and now it is quiet. He came in and didn't make a mess. He did a great job reconditioning my garage door and did everything he said he would. I would recommend them to anybody with a garage door problem.

They were fine. He came and did what he said he would do for that price. I didn't have to pay anything else. He made it run quieter. I thought it was a good maintenance visit. They were very quick to set up an appointment for me. He showed up when he was supposed to show up, so I was happy about that. He was very nice in explaining what he was doing. He said he probably didn't need to do some of the things he was doing because the house was pretty new but he would do it anyway because it was what I paid for and he wanted me to feel like I got what I paid for. So that was nice.

They were prompt, professional, and quick. What really stood out was that my house was built in '94 and he had got it fixed, but there was just this one tiny squeak in which he didn't leave until he figured out where the squeak was and knew what it was. He had to do a lot to it and it was reasonable.

It went fine. They arrived well before my sale stated and was done in about 30 minutes fixed and tuning up.

Service provided was exactly what I had expected. Repairman was friendly and professional.

Vendor was on time and did a good job. Was very happy with how quiet and smooth the garage door was when finished.

I have had problems with my garage door for the past few years. After a 2nd repair I purchased a Big Deal for a tune-up and roller replacement from A-1 Accurate Garage Door Co. At that time I was advised that I had the wrong springs installed, causing the door to lift on its own and the cables to unwind. I elected to do nothing about the springs at that time and now a year and a half later I had problems again. Had we taken the advice given by A-1, I could have saved myself additional time and money. Accordingly in my experience this companyis honest and not out to take advange of anyone.

Shortly after purchasing the "big deal", I scheduled an appointment to have the service performed. The person I spoke with gave me a several hour window in which the technician would arrive. This was not a surprise as I have come to expect this from service technicians. However, I did not expect that the technician would not arrive until 10 minutes before the end of the time window I had been given. In addition, he or someone from the company did not call to notify me that he would be running behind. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and let him get to work. It quickly became evident that he was in a hurry, likely because it was late on a Friday afternoon and he was ready for the weekend. He replaced the garage door rollers which helped to smooth out the operation of the door. He then performed the "thorough" inspection which consisted of him running the door up and down several times and watching it operate. He did not make any adjustments and proceeded to inform me that our opener was going to fail soon seeing that the force required to run the door up and down was maxed out. He then proceeded to tell me that he could inspect the internals of the opener but that would cost extra. He said he would grease the internal gears but that I would be better off doing it myself after buying some grease. Needless to say, I was disappointed with the overall experience and will not be inclined to do business with this company again in the future. One positive note is that the new rollers do in fact work well although I had to grease them myself to minimize the squeaking. In addition, our opener is still running just fine!

The company was punctual. Beyond that I am extremely disappointed. Immediate communication was provided about economic factors as well as discussion regarding this list review. Communicating regarding other members leaving negative reviews. That should have been a tip. Every movement required a discussion and need for additional monetary compensation. One thing led to the next. One repair led to "noticing" another factor that needed repair. Not knowing fact from fiction I authorized additional repair only to then be told well this could involve extensive repair. I could see the estimation of what needed to be done was inaccurate and one thing led to another where I felt there would be no end. Now I look at my garage doors and BOTH are crimped and damaged bent at the joints and hinges just months after adjustments and repairs were made. The garage doors are both damaged bent buckled obviously to an untrained eye. The quality of the work performed is unacceptable and I paid for the doors to be repaired only to see damage to them just a few months later and one of the doors is very infrequently used.

I received quick service when calling for an appointment and the technician arrived on time. He told me that the inspection revealed no problems, and he showed me where to occasionally put some oil to keep the necessary parts in good working order. The price was fair for the work performed and time spent.

I wasn't happy with their service and wouldn't use them again and would not recommend them.

Work was done efficiently and the garage door is working well.

They arrived timely and were very pleasant. The reason for the B rating in professionalism is because they indicated that I had something that was not the correct size for my size of garage door and that could be dangerous and cause a lot of damage and they could correct this at an additional charge. When the need for this was questioned it was no longer dangerous it was just something that I should consider correcting in the future. I appreciate that they brought this to my attention and understand that it is sometimes cheaper to have things fixed when the person is already on location, but initially felt like they were saying that this was something that I had to do right now. Overall they did a great job and I love my key-less entry.

We ordered the doors and set a time for them to be installed. They had to reschedule since the delivery truck broke down. They installed the doors and did a nice job. Unfortuately the door that did not have electric opener would not open after a couple of weeks. The installer came back out and had to adjust the door. They were very nice people and stood behind there work. Unfortuately, we had a couple of mis-steps.

We had an inspection/tune up in Sept. Then today (Feb) our garage door opener fell down from the ceiling. The technician made a trip out to check on our garage door opener which fell apart 6 months after their tune/up. Although my issue was related to an error in installation not to any error in their work they fixed it without an additional charge and right away so we could get out of the garage in time for our appointment.

I tried contacting A1 Accurate last night and was not successful but I did receive a call first thing this morning from Kevin as he had noticed my call. Kevin was able to come out and fix the problem within 2 hours of talking with him. We appreciated the prompt response. Kevin replaced the spring, made some adjustments and helped us better secure one of the safety eyes. I found A1 Accurate through an Angie's list deal a little over a year ago and will continue to use them in the future. Thanks Kevin for fixing our spring in a quick and professional manner.

He was punctual and helpful. We appreciated that he showed up first thing on Christmas Eve day before our guests arrived!

The experience was excellent overall! They’re very knowledgeable!

He arrived, seemed confident that he could make necessary repairs, but when he tested his results, there was still a problem with it. He made further repairs and the door functions now, although not perfectly.
