Paid for new garage door rollers or a keyless entrypad. The rollers were fine and the technician lubricated them for me and showed me how to do it as well. He did install the keypad and it works great!

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for a garage door tuneup. The service was good and everyone was easy to work with and professional. My only criticism is that it was difficult to schedule. Nobody responded to the email I sent to the address provided in the coupon and when I called a few days later, they were booking over a month out for service. Fortunately they worked me in but the time window was 4-6 hours which was an inconvenience.

In addition to doing the tune-up deal, I negotiated reasonable extra charges to completely replace my old chain-drive opener system with a new belt-drive opener I had previously purchased. The tune-up was great, with all new wheels installed. My old ones were original at 20+ years, so it was time. The new unit was installed nicely, and the old stuff was neatly stacked, which I got rid of via Craigslist.

They knew what they were doing and did a great job, no problems.

My garage door had been making noise for quite a while and when I saw the Angie's List deal for a garage door reconditioning and new rollers, I jumped on it. I didn't know who to call for my garage door and didn't know what was making the noise so it seemed like a very good deal. My service window was 8-12 and the repairman, I don't remember his name, showed up about 11:55. He listened to the door open and informed me that I had a broken spring. When I mentioned that there was light coming in on the top of my garage door, he told me the broken spring had probably bent the door. He would do what he could to fix that. He gave me the price for the new spring, $199, and told me that other companies were less expensive, around $169, but not as good. Since I was an Angie's List member, he would replace the spring for $169. It took approximately 1 hour for the entire repair. Once they left, I just had to try out the door and the only noise I heard was from the opener motor. It was so nice. Now when my husband comes home late from work and the garage door starts to close before the house door is closed, I no longer wake up from the noise.

Kevin had a few issues with the schedule, but finally made it after a few days of rescheduling. He installed a new garage door opener motor, chain, keypad entries, fixed the hinges, adjusted the alignment of the door, and lubricated the rollers and the spring. We also received two remote openers. Kevin gave us $50.00 off because we are thinking about getting a new door so he held off on replacing the nylon bearing rollers until we get a new door. The total came to $55 dollars off because I think he mistakenly thought the service was for $384.00 instead of $389.00, but I'm not arguing with that. He did a good job and communicated well with our questions and instructions on using and maintaining our garage door. The only problem I have is he installed the door opener sensors on the bottom of the door. I have seen them installed on the top of doors too. When they are on the bottom you have to always be on the lookout when you move things around them, not to bump them and they are a bit cumbersome. I think I might call them tomorrow and see if he can move them to the top of the door so they are not in the way anymore.

We purchased the Big Deal for $99 to include a garage door tune-up and new nylon rollers. When I called to schedule the service, the person who answered the phone was polite and knowledgeable. Someone from A1 called the day before the scheduled service and indicated that they would be here between 1:00 and 6:00 pm the next day. The company owner Kevin Macho arrived shortly after 1:00 pm and got right to work. Because of previous reviews I had read, I asked Kevin to check the opener to see if it needed to be lubricated. He checked and said that it did need grease and quoted $25 to add that to the items included in the Big Deal. I had spoken to the scheduler about this when I made the appointment so the price was consistent with what she quoted me. Kevin finished the job quickly, provided a service report with a checklist of the work performed, and said that the door was in good shape. He went over the recommended maintenance that I could do myself to keep the door in good condition. I asked how often we should have someone like him come out, and he said probably not at all as long as we did the regular lubricating that he recommended. I expect some companies would use that question as an opportunity to sell a customer on the idea of having them out on a regular schedule so I appreciate Kevin's honesty about this and his willingness to show me how to maintain the door myself. As far as I am concerned, Kevin did just what he promoted in the Big Deal offer, and it was refreshing to have him do that without trying to nickel and dime us and sell us additional items. I would not hesitate to call him for any future garage door service.

My garage door was too old to replace rollers (metal) but necessary adjustments were made at a favorable price & the guy that came out was great !!

Great experience! The serviceman was very knowledgeable and even helped us reprogram our door opener and keypad, which hadn't worked since we bought our house last year. He showed us how to lubricate the chain to keep it running in tip-top condition. I was quite pleased with the service and I would recommend them to friends and family!

Came out the next day after we called about broken spring. Replaced 2 springs and had to order parts for broken struts. Came out 3 days later to finish replacing struts and also said rollers were bad and needed to be replaced so we said OK. We also asked to look at opener he said it was an old unit and would need replacement in the future. Well a month later the chain broke and we called him back and he suggested we replace the old unit so we went ahead and did that. He was able to do that 3 days after our first call.

A1 Accurate repaired a single garage door after the cable came off. They installed new cables and rollers. They also provided me with a remote for a different garage door that they programmed to work with an existing opener. They adjusted three garage doors.
