+ -1 moreWe had worked with Paul Sagstetter (owner) when we first moved into our home 18 years ago and really like him. We were overdue to have the floors refinished after raising 4 kids and multiple dogs, and called Paul again. He and his crew did a wonderful job, and this time because of the latest equipment, it was practically dust free! Huge bonus! I would recommend him to anyone.

+ -1 moreAt the initial meeting Paul listened to what we wanted the end result to be with the floors. Since the floors were carpeted he could only guess at what condition the hardwood was in. He measured the rooms, explained the different options for stains and gave us a preliminary cost estimate. After we removed the carpet Paul returned and made suggestions as to what he felt would work best for the project and gave us a final completion price. After the decision was made to have Northland Hardwood Floors do the work, Paul gave us a start date and timeline for the job to be completed. He was right on with everything he told us. It was a great experience to work with him, no surprises, no excuses if things didn't happen as he expected; he just did what he needed to do to get the job completed. The floors are beautiful.
Description of Work: Paul refinished our hardwood floors in the living room and dining room, two sets of stairs and removed the flooring materials in the kitchen and replaced with hardwood.

+ -1 moreThey did a very good job. It is easy to rent equipment and do it ourselves but it is important to get it flat. It is real easy to get pockets and before one realizes it, the flooring is spoilt. The money we save by doing it ourselves is not much so it is better to get professionals to do it.
