WALDOCK BROTHERS FIREWOOD

I called and left a message with Waldock on Tuesday and received a call back on Friday. They were able to accommodate my schedule, and we had the firewood delivered on Sunday afternoon. This is the second year I've used Waldock and I'm very happy with the quality of the wood we received.

Wonderful. Nice on the phone, reasonable. Delivered and stacked as promised. Cleaned up when done. I have not burned any of the wood yet, but it seems dry, and of the proper species.

This is the first time I've purchased firewood that I didn't feel like I was getting ripped off. I called and left a message in voicemail and got a call back within a couple of days. We scheduled a time for them to deliver my wood, they arrived right on time, stacked the wood neatly in my garage where I indicated, and cleaned up after themselves. We've had a couple of fireplace fires and a fire in the outdoor pit using the new wood, and I'm pleased to say that it starts easily and burns nicely. Nice, dry oak and ash. Awesome!

After just a small delay getting back to my initial phone call (which I mention only because it was the only imperfection in this transaction), Mr. Waldock returned my call and answered all my questions capably. I ordered two face cords of firewood to be delivered and stacked, and asked that he make the stack in a specific location. When I returned from work the next day, the wood was very tidily arranged in the correct location, and the bill had been left in the door. The wood appears well-seasoned ("clonks" when two pieces tapped together, rather than a dull thud), and is made up of approx. 80% oak and 20% birch. I am eager to get past this warm, early fall weather and start happily working my way through the pile! I will definitely call Mr. Waldock again next season.

It took a while for Darrel to get back to me, but once he did he was very gracious and prompt. He delivered and straight-stacked the full cord. The wood is beautiful and dry.

Darrel delivered on the day and time I requested. He was by himself and he unloaded, carried, and stacked the wood behind my garage. He did a fantastic job. He cleaned up the mess afterwards and took it with him. The wood is about 75% oak and 25% birch. I already burned some and it burns great. No hissing and little smoke so I know it is dry.

Waldock is a bright shining example of quality, fairness in pricing and keeping promises. Unlike so many others in this business, his wood actually is dry and burnable immediately, he stacks the wood densely instead of loosely so that his cord has more wood while others have much air, Many suppliers of firewood to Twin Cities home owners are dishonest. Waldock is A+++.

Excellent! Darryl delivered the wood on time and was very honest and professional. We received a true cord of wood (other companies have given us less than a true cord). I look forward to buying more wood from Waldock Brothers in February. I highly recommend Waldock Brothers.

Waldocks showed up ON TIME and sold dry firewood at a good price. It doesn't get much better than that!

The Woldock truck showed up at the agreed time and I had to decide if I wanted 3 rows eight feet long or 2 row 12 feet long. They worked quickly stacking the wood neatly, cleaned up after themselves, leaving no wood scraps laying about and were very pleasant.

I have a rack that is less than 8 ft by 4 ft. So to get a true fireplace cord, you need to stack high. Waldock did a great job of stacking to the right height with a very well stacked cord of wood. Couple fires later and I can say the wood is great for burning.

I called and they could do next-day service. They arrived early, unloaded and stacked the wood nicely. Great service and delivery!

Very friendly and quick service. We called on Friday and had it to our home by Sunday afternoon. The wood looks great, dry and seasoned. I would use them again, and will next year. I would recommend them to anybody. Great price compared to other quotes.

Firewood was delivered and stacked within an hour of talking to him on the phone. Firewood looks like it's good quality and was stacked very nicely. Transaction was as smooth as it gets!

I called and left a message on a Friday morning wondering when we could get a cord of wood delivered to us for the upcoming winter. Darrel called me back in an hour or two and was able to deliver firewood to me the next day! I had called the "bigger" firewood company on Angie's List, and was told that it would take three weeks to have firewood delivered. Needless to say, I was very impressed with Darrel and his prompt response. Darrel also arrived within the time that he provided us. The wood was stacked neatly, and we're very happy with the service we received.

Darrel was fantastic - professional, friendly, and trustworthy. He and his employee stacked the wood just as we requested (partly on the porch and partly in the garage). It's good quality wood, and stacked so that we got the most for our money. We will definitely be using Waldock Brothers again next year.

I placed a call to Waldock's on a Saturday morning. Mr. Waldock returned my call within a few hours and said he was out making deliveries and would try to fit me in that same day. Having never done business with the company before, I expected to be scheduled for some later date, and really didn't expect same-day service. As promised Mr. Waldock called me back within a few hours to say he would be able to fit me in and arrived when he said he would. The wood is well-seasoned,burns well and was stacked neatly next to our garage. Very nice to do business with someone so professional and pleasant.

They did a great job. There was an extra $20 fee due to the location where I wanted the wood stacked. It was down a stairway and they had to handle the wood twice. $20 extra was a very fair price. I will certainly order from them again.

They were absolutely perfect. I've used Darrel in the past and can't imagine going to anyone else for firewood. He's reliable, friendly, and as honest as the day is long and one of the last true gentlemen business owners around. Phone calls are returned in a timely manner, scheduled delivery times are spot-on, and the quality of the wood is terrific consistent in size, dryness, and quality. The normal mix runs 75% oak with 25% birch, but he does his best to go a little heavier in the birch at my request. His cords are reliable (nothing too dry, no twigs, fillers, short logs, etc). He builds honest stacks (no criss cross spacing). You absolutely get your money's worth with Waldocks. The prices are competitive, the service is stellar, and the product is great. Throw in the fact he's one of the nicest fellows around, and you can see why I simply refuse to call anyone else.

AS USUAL DARYL WALDOCK WAS PROMPT, FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. HE AND HIS PARTNER UNLOADED AND VERY CAREFULLY STACKED 2 CORDS OF WOOD. THERE WAS A LITTLE LEFT FROM LAST YEAR SO THEY MEASURED THAT AMOUNT AND MADE SURE I RECEIVED 2 CORDS RATHER THAN SHORT CHANGING ME. I HAVE BEEN DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY FOR YEARS. THEY ARE GREAT.

DARREL WALDOCK WAS VERY HELPFUL IN PROVIDING ME WITH ALL THE INFORMATION I NEEDED ON THE PHONE AS TO WHAT A FIREPLACE CORD WAS IN COMPARISON TO A LOGGER'S CORD. HE RETURNED SEVERAL CALLS I MADE PROMPTLY, AND HE HAD NO PROBLEM WITH MY REQUEST FOR ALL RED OAK THAT WAS AGED TWO YEARS. DARREL AND HIS PARTNER DELIVERED AND STACKED THE WOOD NEATLY, AND CLEANED UP THE DEBRIS. BOTH MEN WERE FRIENDLY, COURTEOUS, AND PROFESSIONAL. THE PRICE WAS FAIR, AND I PROBABLY GOT MORE THAN THE ONE FIREPLACE CORD I PAID FOR. THE WOOD IS VERY CLEAN, CUT UP IN MANAGEABLE PIECES, AND BURNS WELL. ALL IN ALL - THIS WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE, AND I AM DEFINITELY STICKING WITH WALDOCK FIREWOOD!
