Great service! Delivery was on-time and they stacked the firewood neatly. Price seemed competitive.

Darryl does a great job. Called him and asked that he swing by when in St Paul. He called same day - actually beat me to our house. Wood is dry. They clean up when they're done. This is our 6th load of wood - all great experiences.

All good, except my drive is at an angle and they have trouble with hydraulic fluid that leaks from their truck, they did try to put a pan under for me but still did not prevent some fluid on the driveway. No trace of any wood chips though!

They delivered what they promised in a timely and professional manner. Wood looks good, and is a reasonable value.

Went well. Took a few days for our call to be returned, but they must be very busy. Owner called me back at night and we were able to scheduled within 72 hrs.

We chose them because they had a good reputation. We called them and left a message. We indicated that we needed firewood, but they never called back until an hour before the wood delivery. They gave us what we expected. The guy, who got the wood, stacked it and did what he said he would do. The wood was of good quality. We also got more wood than we ever got from other people. We were very pleased with them. The only problem with them was they never responded to us, until they showed up with the wood. They were lucky that we were at home when they came out. We spent $140; they weren’t the cheapest. They were punctual. We will use them again.

Waldock provides excellent service in all categories. We've used them for the past 2 years after a disasterous experience with another provider -- that we did not screen through AL! Highly recommended

This is the 2nd season I have purchased from Darrel. Like last year, I am very satisfied with the quality of the wood, as well as the volume delivered. I will certainly continue buying from Darrel in the years to come.

I sent an email through the Angies List site and received a call back within a couple days with the pricing and info on the wood. We discussed how quickly I needed the wood (within a few weeks) and set delivery for the 17th. Delivery was perfect - punctual, personable, and good quality. Darrel was flexible did a great job stacking the wood where I wanted it. Will definitely be calling Waldock first for my next order.

When I called to order the firewood, the message on their answering machine told me how much the wood cost and approximately how far out they were scheduling deliveries. I left my message, not expecting to hear from them for a week or two. Within several days, Darrel called me and said they were in my neighborhood and could deliver my wood. Since they arrived at the end of the day, they didn't have quite enough for a full face cord, so told me not to pay them and to go ahead and use as much wood as I wanted (for free)--they would fill in my face cord when they compeleted the delivery the following week. True to their word, they were back within a week. They stacked the wood and cleaned up after themselves. They measured the wood to make sure they delivered the amount they promised. I was impressed!

He stacked the mixed woods per request and did a great job. I will use him again.

Darryl is very personable and does a great job stacking the wood as well as cleaning up afterwards. They arrived right when they said they would and the wood is high quality. The only thing that prevents me from saying I'm a 100% satisfied customer is their responsiveness. It seems their business has outgrown their ability to keep up with the volume of phone calls they receive, especially when the weather starts getting cooler and the volume of calls they receive increases. Subsequently, I called twice over two weeks and left messages and then didn't hear back from them for about a week after my second call.

This is the second time I've had Darrel deliver wood for me, and I'll be happy to have him back again. September through November is an extremely busy time of year for Darrel, so call him a good couple of weeks before you actually need delivery. He's an extremely nice, friendly, polite guy who cares about service and the quality of his product. He's worked his way to the top of Angie's List's ratings without ever paying attention to Angie's--he's old-school, which he says helps him keep his prices fair. $135 for a solid fireplace cord of high quality oak, delivered and stacked, is good value!

I left Waldock a message over a weekend and received a call back the same week. I figured they would be busy since it is the end of September, but only had to wait about 2 weeks from start to finish to receive my shipment of wood. A good dry mix of birch and hardwood will last us for the season. Darrell and crew were punctional and courteous - more than friendly and willing to go out of their way. I will DEFINITELY be ordering more wood from them next season! Prices were GREAT too!

Their price was great, and the service fantastic. Stacked tight and sturdy, consistently sized pieces, and well seasoned. A nice mix of slow and fast burners for our insert. They stacked it in the back of my garage very quickly, and swept up the garage and driveway after they were done.

It went very well. They are fast, fairly priced and have a great product. Great service too.

This was our third order this winter. Wood is dry, burns well. Darryl does a great job at a great price.

Called yesterday. Got a call back today. Scheduled a time for delivery for today. Arrived right on time. Stacked the wood so it was densely and generously stacked. Very professional and efficient. Wood looks nice and dry.

Emailed them on Sunday, wood was delivered on Thursday! Awesome.

Waldock Brothers never returned my phone calls. I left them three messages over a three week period before deciding to look elsewhere.

Darrel and another person delivered and stacked all the wood. They did an excellent job of stacking and cleaning up, however they did not have much to clean up. Very pleased with the wood and will order again. Very personable people.

This is the third time I've used Waldock in the last several years. I've never been disappointed. They are friendly and a pleasure to business with. Crew always stacks wood tightly and cleans up when finished. Wood itself is top quality and seasoned (dry). Highly recommended.

I certainly enjoyed this experience and will purchase from Darrel again. Darrel and his associate arrived at the agreed upon time and went to work right away stacking the wood in the rear of my home. The wood was dry and burned well (we had a fire that night). Darrel is very easy to work with and an all around nice guy.

Darrel is very outgoing and easy to deal with. He arrived on time and got to work unloading and stacking the firewood.
