WALDOCK BROTHERS FIREWOOD

We had a slight struggle getting scheduled for him to drop off. I would have preferred some larger chopped pieces of wood, but it was okay. They did a great job stacking it and making it look nice. The pricing was fair.

He was on time, and did a good job stacking the wood.

Took a couple of voicemails, but received a delivery of firewood from Daryl. During the busy season (winter), make sure you plan in advance and call before you're completely out of wood. As always, the wood has been aged well and burns perfectly. He's always friendly, stacks the wood tight, and doesn't mind hauling the wood to the location you desire. This is my 3rd time receiving a cord of wood. Will continue giving him my business. Worth the price.

i have worked with Waldock firewood for 5 years. Darryl and his crew are very nice and have good wood. each year it seems to take longer for them to return your call. last year it took about 2 weeks. This year he hasn't returned any calls for wood. He told me 2 years ago he was limiting his client base because demand was too high. i wish he would atleast call back and say he's not interested instead of making us wonder if he's delivering our wood. we will find another service provider. And it's too bad - we really liked him.

I have left multiple voice messages throughout the last week and have not received any return phone calls. I have been out of wood for a week now and am moving on to calling another company.

It went well with the exception of the mix of short logs.

I called Waldock Brother late on Friday, which was OK since they were taking calls until 8:30pm. Surprisingly they were able to deliver the wood the next afternoon. I had checked out several places and Waldock was the cheapest. He arrived on time, was very professional, and tightly stacked what was probably a little more than a cord. The wood was obviously well dried, and was a good mix of birch and oak. Based on this experience I wouldn't even consider getting wood from anyone else in the future.

This is our third time using Waldock and we are always happy with the wood we receive.

They did a great job stacking (in two locations per my request), cleaning up and arrived on time. Very friendly and concerned I got what I wanted. Carefully measured to ensure I got a full cord Some pieces are sizzling as they start burning, but overall seems to be a good cord.

We ordered firewood from them last year and were very pleased with the quality. Called and asked them to deliver another cord and they added us to their next delivery - not more than a day or so later. We couldn't be home when they delivered, but they knew where they had stacked it the year before and went ahead and completed the delivery. The wood was stacked very well and right where we wanted it. They left their bill and we were able to mail them our payment. Wood seems to be just a little wet this year, otherwise quality would have been an A too. We will definitely continue to use this business, as their service is outstanding.

I was cautious purchasing firewood from someone I didn't know, but the reviews in Angies List for Waldock Brothers Firewood were reassuring. They returned my call within a day, and delivered the wood the next day - arriving about 10 min earlier than they said but that was great with me. Their stacking method is true, you get what you're paying for. They even threw in the scraps at the bottom of the truck for kindling (I was the last delivery of the day). I will definitely do business with them again.

Excellent service. Called on Saturday, delivery made on Sunday. Wood stacked neatly. Would recommend and will use again.

We played phone tag for several days, but once we spoke they were able to set a delivery time within 24 hours. They were punctual, and delivered nice, evenly cut, dry oak with some birch. They stacked all the wood in our rack, and did not "air stack"/cross-hatch the wood. We have tried several other firewood sources, and am most impressed so far with Waldock for the price, service, and professionalism.

They delivered excellent firewood promptly as always. A few days went by between my initial call and the call-back, but my need was not urgent. Besides -- I know that they are a small operation and as I have always had excellent service and product from them, I knew they would call back and had total confidence in the product they would deliver. And indeed, once we connected by phone they delivered the following day, stacking neatly and covering wood that burns very well -- as usual!We will continue to use Waldoch.

This is my second time this season ordering from Waldock. Their fire wood is outstanding. Dry and burns without a pop; which causes sparks. The guys are extremely responsive and fast to deliver. Great job - won't go anywhere else. I have found my firewood source and that's hard to say because when it comes to dry clean burning firewood, I am a pain in the butt!

We purchased a fireplace cord of firewood that was mostly oak with some birch mixed in. Delivery was right on time and the wood was seasoned, dry and ready to be burned. Will definitely be ordering wood from Darrell again.

Fantastic. First time I have used Waldock Firewood and it won't be the last. Had a fire immediately after they left and all the wood we burned never sizzled or even popped. Great dry wood. They were at our home within the hour they said they would be there, stacked to wood, very friendly and just a good experience. We bought a fireplace cord which is 16" x 4' x 8' for $ 145.

The wood was hardwood (as advertised), dry and properly aged. They stacked it beautifully in our garage at the delivery time that they promised. I couldn't be happier with them. We will most definitely use them again.

Waldock is the best source for firewood in the Twin Cities area, period. Best quality, best price. The wood is aged and seasoned and always burns exceptionally well. Before we found Waldock we had three bad experiences in a row with different firewood suppliers. Been using Waldock for 4 or 5 years now and they always deliver excellent wood, stack it neatly, and sweep up when they are done. First time users of Waldock: be patient. Leave a message and let them know where you are located. They are a small family business and get really busy in the fall. They don't have administrative staff to be able to field calls for them. They will get back to you when they plan out how they are going to group orders. So give them a few days to call you back. Trust me, you'll be glad you did. They are the best.

I was very pleased from start to finish. He was polite, friendly, on time, delivered exactly as promised.

Everything went smooth except it took me about a week before getting a response back. Owner says he was out in the woods chopping wood. Would be nice if it said so in an e-mail autoreply or the outgoing answering machine message.

Fantastic experience with Waldock Firewood. Darrell was very responsive and worked to schedule me at a time convenient for the both of us. He and his brother arrived right on time and quickly hauled and stacked a fireplace cord of split oak and birch. The stacking was *perfect* and the firewood has been VERY high quality -- no rotten or wet wood. I will absolutely be using Waldock Brothers Firewood again.

I called Darryl on Friday 01/07/2011 in the evening. He called me the next day and suggested Monday morning, 01/10), at 8:30 a.m. I agreed to this and on Monday morning he arrived on time, stacked the firewood in my garage, and cleaned up after. I’ve used Waldock firewood for 3 years now and they are my only choice.
