Top notch service. Had several boxes of tax records and confidential client files that needed to be shredded. I was able to watch the entire process from start to finish. Very convenient and professional. Highly recommend this company.

We had the required 7 years of paperwork from a family business that we have sold and didn't want to just recycle it as it contained personal information from former customers. Due to some family issues I wasn't able to have everything ready by the expiration date of the voucher. I spoke with Dave at Veterans Shredding and he was very accommodating and allowed me the time I needed to get everything together. He called and set a time to come to the house, he was here on time and was very efficient. He even showed us just how the process worked. I would highly recommend Veterans Shredding to anyone in need of this service. It was so great to have them come to the house instead of having to try to find a place to take all the boxes of paperwork that we needed shredded. I will definitely pass this information on to family and friends who might be in need of this kind of service.

We had the equivalent of about two 55 gallon barrels of old financial stuff to shred. We had moved my parents out of their house to a senior apartment complex and we just kept finding more and more stuff that needed to be shredded. | |After shredding a bunch of it ourselves (and burning up a nice shredder in the process) we realized it was time to call a professional. We kept finding more stuff every time we went over. So we piled it all in our garage until we had the house all cleaned out and then called Veteran Shredding. | |They wheeled their cart right up to our garage, we loaded it up a couple times and then down to the truck at the end of the driveway. It was all done in a matter of minutes. | |They were flexible with fitting us in when we needed them to. And we paid less to have them do it all then we did to replace the shredder we burned up trying to do it ourselves. Hopefully we don't their services again, but if we do it's the way to go. So much easier than doing it ourselves.

I highly recommend Veteran Shredding for shredding of papers at your home. The provider called me the day before the service date to confirm his appointment, he then called me the day of service to tell me the time he would be at my house, he was prompt, courteous, did all my shredding in a few minutes and thanked me for supporting veterans by doing business with his company.

.True to other reviews of Veteran Shredding, they were extremely responsive, professional, polite and prompt. We were impressed with their equipment–you can view your documents being shredded. We highly recommend them and would definitely use them if needed in the future.

UPDATE: Shortly after I posted the review that follows, Dave from Veteran Shredding reached out to me by e-mail to apologize for the scheduling issues and to offer me a full refund because the services had not met my standards. ORIGINAL REVIEW FOLLOWS: It's hard not to like these guys. I received an e-mail right away after purchasing the Big Deal, which was handy for five months later when I finally had my papers ready to go for shredding. I left a message Friday afternoon to set up the appointment, and I received a call back on Sunday afternoon, with the appointment set for the coming Friday. The shredding itself went great. I was able to observe the whole process -- they even have a video camera in the truck's internal shredding chamber -- and felt very secure that the documents were truly gone and done for. It couldn't have been more convenient -- to have this done right at my house was very nice. Both people I interacted with were very friendly. The one thing that didn't go well was timely arrival on the day of service. I of course have no way of knowing whether my experience was typical or unusual, but here's what happened: The appointment was set (in the Sunday call) for 11am-1pm on Friday, with the added note that I would receive a call "in the morning" as they evaluated their final schedule. I understood this to mean that I would be receiving a call regardless and that this call would come prior to the 11am-1pm timeslot. By 11am, I had not received a call, and so I left work and went home, arriving about 11:15am. At 11:50am, I received a call that didn't provide much information about the schedule. I told the caller that it would be helpful to have an estimate of when the driver would arrive. The caller said he'd call the driver right away and that the driver would call me (right away, I assumed). By 1:15pm, I had not received a call from the driver and I called back to the number I had. This resulted in a call from the driver saying he'd be there in about 30 minutes. His actual arrival was nearly 60 minutes later. Both people were very apologetic about the delay, but it kind of messed up my afternoon, especially when the revised projections of arrival were also not on target. As noted, perhaps my experience was unusual -- I hope so, and I'm sorry that this experience with Veteran Shredding ended on a bad note. My letter ratings are for this one service experience.

I called a couple days prior to the service date, a Wednesday, I believe, to inquire about price/availability and left my number with their answering service for a call-back. I received a call Friday afternoon, stating that I was on the schedule, which was slightly bewildering. If I hadn't been on vacation that week I wouldn't have been able to be home in time. But, the representative from Viking, who was on the opposite side of town, quickly rearranged his schedule and was at my place within an hour. He was friendly, personable, and professional. Their trucks are equipped with cameras that follow the documents through the shredding process that you may watch on a video screen at the side of the truck. Good service, fair price. Would recommend and will hire in the future.

My experience went very well. He was very friendly and professional. He was also very punctual and stayed on the job until I it was finished. I would recommend this company to others.

It went very well, they pulled up and rolled their big trash bin up to my door, they threw the bags in and then they loaded the bin into the shredder. Only took about 10-15 minutes. It's great that can shred things as thick as phonebook and standard staples and more...

The two men arrived when promised in a sharp looking truck. They carried the materials to the truck and demonstrated how the machine worked. There was no mess and no fuss. Very friendly and courteous people.

I had some trouble with scheduling. Their answering service didn't do good work to pass along my request for service. I persisted, because I worked with them last year and once they got there, they were great. He was late, but kept me apprised of his arrival time by phone. Courteous, clean and respectful once on site.

They were punctual, attentive, very nice, and did a good job. It only took moments to take to the truck and shred, so it is a very fast service,

It went very well. The young man (owner's son) who completed the actual shredding explained how the truck worked and showed us the finely shredded dpaper when he was done. He was friendly and arrived at the scheduled time frame. We were very satified with the results.

they arrived right on time, took the paper to their truck and shredded it. the shredding was several bags of paper cleaned from my mother's house. to have it managed so quickly and professionally was very helpful. it was a very fast process, just minutes. they were professional, polite and friendly. they worn uniforms. i would use them again if needed.

This could not have gone better. Adam showed up right on time. He was courteous, friendly, and very helpful. Once he saw the mountain of paper to be shredded, he got right to work. Thanks to his efficiency, the whole job was completed in about 30 minutes. Rarely have I encountered a young man as friendly and professional as Adam. This company provides a great service for a great price and has excellent employees. I will certainly use Veteran Shredding again.

The truck was a little late because of road construction, but called to let me know. When he arrived he performed the shredding service with professionalism. I was extremely pleased and told him I would pass along his information to my family and friends.
