Veteran Shredding

Great! I would recommend them to anyone that needs to have lots of personal paperwork shredded. It was a very positive experience and I would use them again without question.

It is amazing how quickly and efficiently they work. These guys are absolutely fantastic. They showed up exactly on time and did a great job. I have confidence that the documents were completely destroyed. I also had them shred documents from my house in August 2012.

I purchased an Angie's List coupon for $85 for 600 lbs of paper shredding. Dave worked with me to find a mutually convenient date. His driver - also Dave - came right on time and was EXTREMELY helpful, given the below zero temperatures. Would definitely use them and recommend them!

It went very well. We scheduled the appointment and they showed up on time. They did the work very well. It was very convenient that they came to my home and I would definitely use them again. Within a week of purchase the guy there initiated a time to do the work and then I let him know I wanted to work on getting everything together and then have the work done after the summer. He was really good with correspondence by email and phone.

It turned out well. They did a good job. The only issue I had was with scheduling the service. I was satisfied with the work.

The law firm bought a "Big Deal" for $69 for 600 pounds of shredding. We used a scale to weigh the paper. I was not there, but according to the business owner, when the service arrived, they used a bin to "weigh" the paper, and billed us for 975 pounds. While our weight could have been a little off, it wasn't 375 pounds off. He said the bin held 300 pounds. it obviously did not. We were surprised and disappointed that the 600 pounds was being estimated based on the capacity of the bin. To top it off, he then rounded up as if we had 400 extra pounds. The office is on the second floor of a building. It would have been nice to know that the service has no way to help move the paper to street level. While I now wish I had asked about this, it would have been nice if that was made known in advance by the service. January 30, 2013 update. The owner has refunded our money, which was very generous. I'm not sure why an adjustment was not offered at the time of the shredding when it was brought up that we had weighed the paper ourselves. Now we know what questions to ask about weight vs volume in contracting for service.

They did an excellent job. They were on time and they came quickly. They were very professionally dressed and clean cut. They were courteous as well. I would recommend them to anyone.

Did an awsome job and was really quick, we had probably 15 boxes to shred an he was in and out in 20 minutes.

I scheduled the appointment by email. They called before arrival and were punctual as well as professional and courteous. I had several bankers boxes of old documents and was able to see them shredded on the spot.

Intially, the scheduling of the shredding appointment was easy. Then before my appointment, their truck broke down and required major repair and we had to reschedule. Once the repair was complete we were able to arrange a weekend pickup (they were trying to catch up on the work) and gave me a call when they were on the way. I was able to watch my documents being shredded using a small montior located on the side of the truck. Impressive.

The service turned out very good. We are very pleased. I had so many documents it went over the coupon price but they gave me a good deal. I plan on using them again in the future.

They did not meet me at the time arranged but they did call me before that time to let me know they were running late. They apologized for being late. I had trouble connecting with them to set up the appointment but they explained that they were having issues with their phone company. They were very accomodating about setting a date and time. They were very pleasant to work with and I would definitely do business with them again.

I ordered the paper shredding through an offer from Angie's List. Dave emailed me with a date he would be in the area. It was too early for me at the time......we were preparing to move. We kept in touch.....about two months later we set a date for the shredding to be accomplished. He was prompt and courteous.

I highly recommend this company! Contacted Veteran Shredding on Monday afternoon. They had availability the next day. The truck arrived exactly when they said it would. I'm a big supporter of family owned businesses. Glad I found Veteran Shredding on Angie's List.

Start to finish, very professional and great experience. No need to spend time waiting in line for shredding services elsewhere and the cost is the same. I would use them again and recommend them to others.

I called Tuesday July 24 and I got a response that day and they said they could come out the very next day. He gave me a time estimate, but stated that if it would be too much later than that time they would give me a call. I received a call about 20 minutes before they arrived telling me they were on their way. We had a lot of shredding and it only took them about 20 minutes for all the paper to be loaded and shredded. I couldn't have been happier with the service and the promptness. I will definitely use them again! I paid and used the $85 coupon off of Angie's List and that was wonderful - best deal in town!!

I was home on a Friday and made some phone calls intending to set up appointments for the following weeks. When I reached Dave, he was just finishing a job in the north metro and asked if I'd be home for the next hour. I was, and he stopped at my house on his way back to the office. He was a very nice man and efficiently got the work done in a matter of minutes. The entire process, from phone call to finish, was about an hour. I could not have been happier.

It went good. They were prompt, professional, courteous and cleaned up afterwards. They took the stuff outside so it wouldn't be too noisy. He also followed up. Overall, he did a great job.

Excellent. Dave showed up at the scheduled time and, since I had moved the boxes to the garage, in minutes we were loading the papers into a bin that he then dumped into the shredder hopper on his truck. I watch the documents be shredded through a TV camera in the hopper. It took a total of about 10 minutes and couldn't have been smoother. I wouldn't hesitate to use Dave in the future and strongly recommend his services.

At the time I called, the owner, Dave, was overseas (but responded to my initial email!) so his father-in-law contacted me to discuss the services I needed. He answered all of my questions and I felt the price of $75 for up to 600 lbs of material ($75 is the minimum and his prices go up from there based on amount of material) was reasonable so I scheduled them to come on Saturday, March 17th. Dave was back from his assignment so he was the one who came to do the shredding. He called to let me know he was running a little late and he ended up getting to my house about 40 minutes later than scheduled. He apologized and said he had some trouble with the GPS directions (which I believe since we have had that trouble before). We had 8 banker boxes full of paper to shred so Dave wheeled a large trash bin up to our back door and dumped the contents of the boxes into the bin. Then he wheeled the bin to his truck and I watched as the bin was lifted into the back of the truck into the shredding system. Dave then let me watch on a camera screen while the bin was dumped into a very large shredder and pulverized into tiny bits! It was actually fun to watch. The entire process took about 10 minutes! It would have take me hours to shred all of this on our small office shredder. Dave's shredder also processes the paper into much smaller, finer pieces than my office shredder can. Both my husband and I felt much more comfortable having all the paper shredded on-site while we watched. It was well worth the $75 and Dave was wonderful. I will definitely have him back in the future and I highly recommend his service.
