All around excellent service at a very reasonable cost. I called for service on Friday afternoon, and Nick came over the next day, which was a holiday weekend. In about an hour, he had cleared the clogs in the floor drain and kitchen sink drain. Very pleased...I highly recommend D C Annis.

I would say they are an A. I could find no fault with anything that they did. I have no idea for price, because I’ve never done it before. It’s the first time I’ve ever had anyone in to do plumbing. For the time the guy was here, it struck me as a little more expensive than I thought it would be. The guy did a good job. They did really well with it. They were right on time. For responsiveness, a B mostly because they couldn’t get to me the same day.

They came and resolved our problem quickly. This is the second time we've used them, and will do again if needed!

It was fine. They did very good. He did a lot of work for that.

Very well. Had small problem. Scheduled for later in week and when problem got worse D.C. Annis came out sooner.. Good help from Shannon on timing of arrival. Problem solved quickly and professionally.

Able get appointed right away. Had problem with an old pipe but had issues well explained and limits of services clarified before we started. . We ended up cutting damaged pipe at my request to allow rest of drain to be checked. (Found a partial shampoo cap stuck in pipe!) Will hire again.

We called another service we had used in the past first, but they were booking two days out--Monday, which would mean I would have to take off work to be here during that time. D C Annis Sewer Inc was able to be at our house within a couple of hours. Two knowledgeable young men showed up to help us out. They were efficient, prompt and a delight. They don't charge extra for the weekend either. Very happy with this service and would absolutely use again.

I was trying to get a hold of our usual plumber, but wasn't able to for some reason. The drain had been clogged for a whole day so we were kinda desperate. Found this provider in our city and will definitely keep them on my list in case usual guy can't come. I called at 8am on a Saturday, it is now 11:30 and he's done. Very quick response. A little more spendy then I'd like, but what are you gonna do. Sean was professional, respectful, and courteous.

Friendly though young serviceman. I made a suggestion which helped him get the drain completely cleared.

We called, got a quote over the phone and the plumber was at our house within about an hour and a half (on a Saturday evening, no less). He fixed the clog and found a rotten pipe, which could have been a disaster if it wasn't discovered. We had a clogged kitchen sink a few weeks earlier and the company we called wouldn't give us a quote over the phone and by the time he got here and started digging around, I didn't think it was worth it to send him away and find someone else. I should have done my research and I would have known that $300 flat rate for the first hour is ridiculous. D C Annis is much, much more reasonably priced and I would definitely use them again. My only complaint is that the plumber didn't take off his shoes in the house, but other than that, he was professional, friendly, and got the job done.

Fantastic. Doing laundry at 8 pm on a Friday and saw the utility sink start to overflow. Consulted Angies List in a panic and called D C Annis after seeing the great reviews and also having a neighbor recommend them previously. The tech called minutes after I had left a message with the dispatcher and said he could come by after he finished with a job in St Paul. He came by, worked diligently for about an hour, taking the plug off the main line to see how it looked, unclogged the sink by snaking the sink line thoroughly and that was that. Could not be more satisfied - super-fast turnaround - on a Friday night, no less! - and incredibly reasonable rates. Outstanding.

On Dec. 25, 2015 I had DC Annis clean out my main sewer, which had backed up the previous evening. I previously had them clean it in 2014 and 2012, with no problems, and each time they guaranteed the work for a year. John, the serviceman, worked for about an hour cleaning the sewer. He pulled out some roots. He ran the snake all the way through the sewer once, and tried unsuccessfully a few more times to get it all the way through again. He kept having trouble about 30' into the line. (The sewer is a total of 60' long.) He finally gave up trying to get the snake through a second time. He told me he felt the line was clean, but there might be a problem with the sewer at about 30'. He recommended I have a camera pushed through the line to see what the problem is. I told him I probably would have that done after the holidays were over. I paid him $175 with a check. The following day I left for San Francisco on vacation for 6 days. I came back home on Dec. 31st. The following day, as my wife was washing clothes, the main sewer backed up again. I called DC Annis, assuming they would send someone out to fix the problem at no charge, only to be told there was no warranty on the work that they had done about a week earlier. I needed something done soon, so I called a competitor, Ron the Sewer Rat, asking to have them come out and send a camera through the line, as I was concerned that the line could possibly be broken. They came out on Jan. 2nd to do the work. They tried to get the camera through, but at about 20' it went under water and they could not get much further than that. Because it was under water, they could not tell what the problem was. I ended up having them run their snake through to see if they could get it to drain. They ran the snake through several times at my request, pulling out more roots than DC Annis had pulled out. They used the full size, 6" cutters. They didn't have any problems running the snake through. They then ran the camera through again, this time it went through easily. The video showed there were a couple of small offsets between sections in the sewer, one of the offsets was at 30', but overall, it was in good shape for a 90 year old sewer. I spoke to the owner, Bob, on the phone to request my money back. He refused, eventually becoming very rude and hung up on me.

Done same day as call. I was price shopping and availability shopping. Service desk called me back to see how my search was proceeding. They had cleaned before and it lasted 2 years which was as expected. Hired a different Co. last July with an Angie coupon and problem re-occured within 7 months (only a 30 day warranty). DC Annis has a 1 year warranty. I will use them again next time and avoid the coupon bait. Quick, efficient, Cory cleaned up very well and was very customer friendly.

We called D.C. Annis in the morning and someone was here within a couple of hours. They called approximately a half hour before arriving. Luke came in and went right to work. It was a nasty clog with lots of gunk. He was meticulous about cleaning everything up under the sink. He was very professional and friendly. I would definitely recommend them.

They have done my sewer line before, there is one tricky spot - hard to get past it and hard to get back. They insisted on having 2 people do the job due to the tricky spot - lots of pushing and pulling. It took a 2nd try to get a crew of 2 at a time that worked for me, but once they were here all went well. Neat and tidy.

Came out on a Sunday morning within an hour of calling. Sewer had backed up because of tree roots. He cleaned out the sewer to the street. Took around 3 hours as it was a long distance. He was friendly and took care to keep everything clean.

I had a toilet that was needing to be plunged every couple days. Sometimes it was even flooding the floor. DC Annis attempted to diagnose the problem by flushing 5 wads of toilet paper down the toilet. It flushed fine all 5 times so they determined the toilet was fine and had no problems. Hmmm, then why does it keep clogging??? All they kept saying is "the toilet is fine and not clogged". I had a second plumber come out the following week and find a big clog at the base of the toilet. It was removed and so far has been working great. Complete waste of $90. They did nothing and didn't try anything to diagnose the problem except flush toilet paper. They didn't take the toilet off or attempt to snake it or even try to look down in hole. Seriously, I could have flushed toilet paper.

Aaron is awesome. He arrived when expected, was polite and most of all very competent. I will definitely use these guys again.
