CHAMPION GARAGE DOORS

Replaced some rollers and lubed garage door. Adjusted it so that it went up and down smoothly.

The staff person was on time a hard workers fast and courteous. He took care of our needs , made no mess and explained everything he did. He gave me tips for keeping the garage door in shape. I will use this company in the future.

The Serviceman was delayed at a earlier customer and said he relayed that to the office scheduler but the scheduler didn't call me to let me know he would be late so we was 2 hours later then what I was expecting. He identified that that rollers where worn and a little mis-alined and that I have hung the opener a little higher then it should be. He replaced the rollers and and re-hung the opener and replaced a section of track that was bent. The door now runs much smoother and quieter. The Serviceman did "Hard Sell" the rollers they had vs the rollers I could get a home improvement store. Stating that I would have to get then from a garage door company to get the higher quality rollers that would last longer but I had not done any research on a DIY project so I just had him complete the work.

Service was great - garage door works much better now after the tune-up. We were advised we needed more work on the garage door and received a bid for it. We opted not to have the additional services done at this time, but we know the needs for future.

I was totally impressed at the knowledge of associate who preformed tune up. Did great job with door it was sticking greased rollers and adjusted them works great know. I would recommend them to all my friends and family. Wonderful job thanks

It went perfectly. They were there on time. They had all the right parts and had it fixed quickly. It's like brand new!

Excellent service man. He completed the job, listened to the door opening a few times and decided to disassemble and reassembled one of the components supplied by the opener's mfgr. He solved the noise puzzle handily. Highly recommend!

It turned out fine. It was very quick. The best thing about it was that it was super quick and the person who came out was knowledgeable. There was nothing about the service that was bad. He told me things that I didn't know already. The whole purpose for having him out was just to understand my system in my new house, my garage door in the house that I bought. He told me about the system and what I should watch for. He did all the preventative maintenance and came to let me know that it was done. So it was just very quick and nice. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount. He was here right at the beginning of the time range.

Not usually big on doing reviews but I realize now that bad service and an inability to care about your customers or the work you do, require it. Called Champion Garage doors to get door fixed since it wasn't closing properly. I found this company through a groupon deal which states that they would inspect and "tune up". Warning!(Do not buy there Groupon) you will only be paying them $40 to inspect what is wrong with the doors and for them to spray a lubricant that cost $5.00 at any hardware store. Plenty of other garage repair companies do free estimates. Sadly, I had to learned this the hard way. So to start, they didn't come on the scheduled time twice. So it ended up being on a Weekend when they showed up. Once they did come and diagnose what was wrong they didn't have the part, and he said it would be an additional $80+ dollars to have it installed. Well, I didn't think this would be a $120+ job they would need to do. Upon a quick Google search for the part, which was only $10, I was right?. For that price I could easily take 5mins to change one screw. Letting him know this, he understood my logic and I was ready to pay him the Groupon price of $40 for the inspection and joke of a "Tune up" He then offered to do it all for $65 but I would just have wait another couple days for the part. Wondering about how quickly I could obtain the part myself, I opted to just let him do it and pay an extra $25 bucks in spite of the intended hustle he was trying to pull with me. Long story short Garage worked fine for the first few weeks, but just recently started coming down funny so I thought I'd give them a call to see if they could come back and take a look at it again. Well, they refused to come and take a look without charging a service fee. After exactly four weeks you would think that they might wanna check on the installation or the part they installed if a customer is having issues. Thinking back now maybe something was missed in the inspection... Bottom line they didn't seem to care so I'm going with someone else this time. Hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.

Great experience. They were able to fix everything without me having to be home and they were professional on the phone and provided service as promised.

It was excellent. I liked their punctuality and the quality of their work. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. I also thought that it was good that he went above and beyond and looked at both doors and gave some maintenance tips. He also explained in detail what he did to the door that he fixed.

It turned out very well. There was a small snafu about scheduling, including one instance where it was my fault, and twice when they didn’t show up, but it worked out fine.

the technician showed up on time, reviewed the garage layout and proceeded to check all mechanisms for operating issues. He was thorough and worked quickly. Once finished with requested service he suggested that we replace old door rollers, which I agreed to.

He was great. He was really easy to work with. He gave great information. He fixed what has been a problem for me for a long time in a very short period of time. He will be coming back because there is one other issue that's still outstanding.

Provider called at 8 am to tell me what time he would arrive. He gave me a 2 hour window and showed up on time. He was very helpful, listened to my concerns and completed the work. He meet me at the end to give me a overview of the work completed. Very quick, friendly and nice!

I couldn't get a hold of them and they never called back or emailed. Very poor customer service.

Fixed door that was catching when it opened. Very professional and timely. Would use again.

Bottom seal of the garage was hanging off and looked like it would break in half. Call Champion and then came out to see what needed to be done. Cable and rollers were rusted through. Decided to get everything done so the garage would be fully operational without any problems.

The technician showed up when he said he would and was very courteous and professional. He offerer to replace all of the rollers for $100 which I did, apparently they don't require any lubrication. So far they they are working great, very smooth running. He also re-wired the lightbulb socket, it was loose and the light would flicker on and off. I didn't even ask him to, was very much appreciated!

I contacted Champion to hopefully tune up current garage door opener or replace if needed. I was in the process on selling/moving out of my house on the day when the opener would not fully open. I express timing was critical due to moving company schedule. The technician arrived a little late and in a very short time informed me a new opener was needed which is what I expected. He then informed me that he would need to return to replace in the afternoon which was going to put me in a crunch time wise. He returned and installed the opener. I was a little disappointed when I got the bill and he charged me for both a tune-up and an install. It was only an extra $40 bucks, but it just did not feel right getting charged for a tune up especially when I expected it needed replaced and it took him all of 5 minutes to determine the opener was old and could not open even when disconnected from the door. The technician did a good job installing the new opener and was friendly and professional. I would try them again, but maybe communicate better next time.

It went great. Rob was very pleasant and professional, and he did a good job on our garage door. We first had a "big deal" for a tune-up, and he found that there were some problems with the door (which I had suspected). I was glad he was able to promptly diagnose and then fix the door about a week later. The only negative was that Champion seems, at least sometimes, to plan the day's client visits first thing in the morning, so I did not know ahead of time when they would be arriving during the day for the "big deal." We had an actual appointment for the repair, and that is certainly preferable from a homeowner's viewpoint.

Good service. Responded promptly to my call and arrived promptly at the appointed time. Showed me how to lubricate the door so that I could do that myself. Recommended some improvements to make the operation quieter and smoother but did not make the hard sell. Took advantage of the Angie deal mostly to have a garage door repairman ready if I experience a breakdown in the future. I will use Champion Garage Doors in the future so I got what I wanted out of the deal.

It went really well! It took him two hours to fully install the door and adjust it. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He did a good job of cleaning up and took away all of the old door and tracks. I would definitely recommend Champion Garage Doors to other of my neighbors and friends.
