CHAMPION GARAGE DOORS

Went well. Would have them back to work on garage again.

I noticed the garage cable in one side was thin so, I think it will be a good idea to have the garage turn-up and replace the cable. I purchased the turn-up big deal and noticed them that I needed to replace the cable as well. They suggested to replace both sides of cable and it sounds very good idea. We replaced the other side of the cable couple years ago after the cable broke. Other campany came over to replace the broken side of the cables and never suggested to replace both. With the turn-up and replacing both cables, we spent less than just replace one side of cable couple years ago. The service staff was nice and offered some options but no pushy at all. We are planning to replace the garage door in couple years and will contact them for sure. I purchased another turn-up big deal for an other house as well. Very good company!

The worker showed up on time, required little to no supervision, was professional and polite. He did not pressure us to agree to further repairs, only pointed out what may need to be done.

Horrible! The technician did lube the door, but said my door was shot and I needed a new door and would be lucky to get through the summer. He did say that they do sell doors and it is unusual for theme to come on a service call and talk about selling new doors - they never did get back to me on a quote for a door. As for adjustment he did tightened the torsion spring. Two days later the door would not open. His tightening of the spring cause the door pulley mechanism to shift into the support bracket. Fortunately I had watched him so I was able to correct the problem myself. I also replaced the wheels and now the door works as if it were new. So, net-net for $39 I did get a lesson on how to repair the spring mechanism.

The provider showed up a little late but when they got there they did a great job. No complaints at all about the service.

I didn't think that they were tight enough and we thought we would get them all updated. In the winter we try and heat the garage but it is still not very tight. I complained because i don't think that garage door is as tight as it used to be. They came back. I was pleased with them and everything. The thing we don't know who will be better or worse.

The service turned out good; I was happy with it. He was here very long but there was not that much wrong with my door. They were prompt and did a good job; I would have them back if I needed to get it done again. He did mention that my motor will have to be replaced in the next year.

I told the gentleman who came out to the house that we were replacing the garage this summer. He not only fixed the current problem with our garage door sticking but also gave us good information on what to look for in our next purchase.

The technician was very professional and informative, explaining what he was doing and recommending that I remove my car from the garage and leave it out for about an hour to avoid having oil drip on it. The next day I noticed a loud clang every time the door went down. I called Champion and they sent out another technician to check the problem the same day. A slightly bent rail was being hit by a latch handle (?) as the door passed it. The problem was fixed in a few minutes at no extra cost. I would be confident to hire this company again.

It went well. I was hoping the opener could be repaired but it being over 20 years old no parts were available. I cannot afford to get a new opener installed but I do believe the quote I was given was fair. Being on a "fixed" income it is not possible to get the work done at this time.

Unfortunately, after spending a couple hundred dollars on a garage door tune-up and spring replacement, within 3 days our garage door was again not working properly. It would close half way, then open again. I am pretty sure it is the optical sensors moving as the door closes. Apparently, this isn't something that the technician calibrated when he was here.

Rob was very helpful, professional and personable. He quickly identified and showed us the problems with our garage door, and fixed them in short order. He also provided us with some tips on how to maintain the door and opener. We will use this company again, and we highly recommend them.

He basically did what I could have done in terms of spraying all the moving parts with oil. I couldn't have checked the belts, mechanisms, so I'm glad I had him come out to do that. For $39 it was worth it.

After getting a few estimates from other providers, Champion had the best price for the same opener, or a slightly better one. I called on Wednesday and they said they could have someone out on Friday. (This was in no way an emergency) As advised, someone called at 8:15am and gave us a 2-hour window of 10:30 to 12:30. At 11 am they called to say they were a half hour out. The installation was quick and tidy. The Tech took the time to show me the features and some DIY servicing (WD-40).

The tune-up went very well. Joel was very professional and very friendly. He worked efficiently and performed small repairs on the door that I did not even expect. My garage door is a heavy wooden door that is 45 years old. Joel and I discussed its condition and possible future considerations. He was not pushy or trying to sell me a door, instead of performing the service. Instead, he provided me with professional guidance that I will be able to use when future problems arise. I appreciated his frankness and help. The only possible glitch I had with the service Champion provided was in the scheduling. They cancelled the first appointment that we had made with no reason. They did try to contact me about the cancellation a week before the scheduled appointment. I was able to reschedule within the same week at a convenient time. Joel did call me on the day of the new appointment to confirm that he would be coming and he came at a time that was very convenient and did not leave me waiting around. All-in-all, I would definitely contact Champion when I had future problems, and I will seriously consider them when I someday decide to retire the veteran door.

Excellent. Prompt, polite and serviced according to special deal. We've also called upon Campion to come out and fix a third garage door and were just as pleased with the service.

What a great experience ! I woke up to a cable twisted around the spring and Champion came to my rescue. The receptionist was friendly and got me worked in the same day. Mike the service tech was professional and on time. He examined the door and explained the situation. The work was done quickly and he even oiled our other garage door while he was here. I would definitely recommend them.

it was great. I have a really old garage, did not want to put a bunch of money in it as i will probably replace it in a few years. They did not try and sell me things i did not want or need,

It went very well, no issues, inspect the other garage door and gave me the list of issues with need attention ASAP.

Called the company late Monday morning b/c one of the cables on our garage door rusted through. Was quoted, over the phone, a price of $145 to replace both cables (which is necessary for safety reasons). I was told that they would be able to come out that same day and that a technician would contact me when he had an estimated arrival time. I was home all day and did not need a more precise time so I did not request anything more specific. Our tech phoned, mid-afternoon, to let us know he was on his way, giving us a 30 - 45 minute lead time. He was pleasant, professional and completed the work quickly. In addition to replacing the two cables he also took the time to lubricate all the moving parts on our old garage door, as well as tightening up the chain on our garage door opener (and still charged us the quoted rate). He pointed out areas where our door was failing and in need of repair but also let us know that the cost to repair the additional problems areas would exceed the cost of a new door. He offered us a no-pressure deal if we ordered a door that day but we were not in a position to do so. He left pricing information and a catalog for our review. He also let us know his professional opinion on how long he thought we had with the old door... helpful for us as it gives us the opportunity to plan for that expense. This was a wonderful, prompt and hassle-free experience, both with the company and with the technician. We will use this company again.. and will likely be doing so sooner-then-later as we look into purchasing a new garage door.

When I called to make my appointment, the customer service rep was professional and friendly. I got the appointment on the day I chose and the technician arrived within the promised two hour window. Rob was professional and courteous, and was done in less than a half hour. He made some pricey recommendations, which I declined. I was given an invoice but never saw a list of what the 21 point inspection included, although I trust that it was done. Would have been nice to have that list as a reference. Overall, a good experience.
