Description of Work: They performed the basic tune up and safety check. They were in and out very fast - about 15 minutes. I would have preferred having some sort of a checklist so I knew exactly what they looked at and what they did, particularly because it WAS so fast.

Description of Work: Tune up the garage door opener/closer. The request for a tune-up was triggered by a very jerky motion for the last 18" while closing. After the tune-up, the door moved very smoothly - except for the last 18". The technician could not identify the problem, but offered pass the problem on to a more knowledgeable person. Since he had already spent an hour trying to fix this, I let it go. I later confirmed the problem is with a misaligned top track. I loosened the bolts holding part of the track and let it align itself over the past two months. Still not perfect, but better.

Description of Work: Purchased a big deal for $39 to tune my garage door because it squeaked whenever we closed it and we couldn't figure out how to fix it. | |Champion came out, diagnosed the problem (which was that we had a single spring with cheap, plastic top wheel that was popping the bearings out causing the wheel to slide into the main top support. | |Suggested fix was to replace the arm and wheel and install two new springs which would provide more lift and resolve the squeaking. | |$300 and 45 minutes later, the garage was fixed, two new springs, arm, and top wheels were installed and the garage opened smooth and quietly. He also tightened the chain that pulls the door up and lubricated the rail wheels that roll for the section. | |Overall we are very happy with the work and would recommend this service to others.

Description of Work: They had tuned up our garage doors on a special this past summer. They gave us the special price for both of our garage doors. Later this Fall, when we jammed one of the doors, they cam out on a Saturday within a matter of a couple hours after our call. Would definitely use them again.
