Mr Jose Hernandez, Thank you for your review. We attempted to contact you the morning of your original appointment on 3 separate occasions. All 3 times you did not answer the phone and your voice mail did allow us to leave a message. Unfortunately because you did not call back until late in the day we were not able to complete the tune up on the original day. We did everything we could have to contact you to verify an appointment time. As a company policy, we do not travel to a customers home if we are not able to contact them ahead of time. This saves the customer from losing their purchase if they are not home when the technician arrives. Description of Work: My garage door needed a lot more work than just a tune-up, which I discovered during this service encounter. But I was very unimpressed with their ambivalent communication, seeming reluctance to educate about my garage door, or explain what they were doing. They didn't seem to care very much and they didn't seem very bright. I'll need to get a second opinion on the work for my garage door, and then hire someone who seems more clearly trustworthy.

The service tech you had for your tune up has 14 years in the field and is highly knowledgeable on garage doors and openers. I am sorry that the service tech did not meet your requirements though. Looking back at your paperwork there are several notes about what was damaged, missing, and worn out on both your door and opener. It was very detailed on the invoice and your signature is also on this form. If there is something you didn't understand or you feel wasn't explained well enough to you, you certainly could call us at any time for further explanation. Description of Work: I needed a complete replacement garage door (single stall) including the motor and everything else. I called Champion based on the good Angie's List reviews and ended up with a very nice new garage door that works, is safe and has an outdoor opening option too, besides the pair of openers provided. Work was done very fast and as far as I'm concerned , the price was just fine.
