CHAMPION GARAGE DOORS

They worked well together - smooth install. Champion was very courteous and helpful. The door is amazing and we love it. These guys have a great product and do awesome work.

this was part of an Angie's list coupon. as such, the initial service included the possibility of additional parts and labor. this proved to be the case, but the repairman explained the problems found and showed the worn parts. this required a return visit, but everything was done according to an agreed plan and on schedule.

I bought an Angie's List coupon for Champion to come out and service my door, the technicion discovered that parts of the door were installed wrong and that's why the door was no longer operable. He did the service covered by the Angie's list coupon and then returned in a week to replace two door panels that had been damaged and now the door works!

It went great. Scheduling was easy and worked with my work schedule. The provide showed up on time and did the work quickly, went through the work with me and pointed out some future maintenance issues I need to keep an eye on.

It went well in about an hour or a bit longer. We chatted as he worked.

a new one The whole process is fairly outright. He just went about his work and took off the old rubber weatherproof edging and replaced it with a new one. Checked the tension on the opener adjusted that, oiled the rollers, and told me they were getting bad. That was about it. He was very pleasant and professional.

Very well. He came back the next day to rewire the "button" to open when I couldn't make it work.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was excellent. I spent an additional $120. They were very professional. All was good.

The service vehicle leaked oil on the drive. Other than that, the techs were professional and the work performed was satisfactory. As it turns out and as subsequent "special deals" go, I probably paid $50-80.00 $80. too much for the job.

On initial visit, he was a little late as he got tied up at another job. Called to say he would be late. Not a problem. He tried to fix the problem of the door not going all the way down. Could not fix the problem, but contacted the opener manufacturer and determined the problem was the electronic eyes needed to be replaced. Came back about a week later and replaced the eyes. Everything is now working properly. I was very satisfied with that part. I requested a quotation from Mike to replace my shed doors with a rollup door. He took the measurements and said he would get back to me. I have not heard anything from them regarding my request. It has been more than a month.-

They were okay. They got the job done. He is coming back this Saturday to show me some samples for possible new garage doors. He was good. He was certainly nice. He told me I will need a new garage door because they are 13 years old. He was very pleasant.

We had a weekly deal and knew there might be some maintance work as well. Since we didn't need the weather stripping included in the deal the service person replaced the rollers and discounted them. The service person was late due to circumstances out of his control. He kept us posted on timing so we could plan for it. He was pleasant and explained well what he was doing. Even gave us some extra hints on how we could keep the garage door in good condition ourselves.

No response to the first two calls about one week apart. I had two inquiries from Angie's List asking whether they had yet contacted me to which I had to reply negatively. When they finally did call to make the appointment, they apologized for the delay. The technician was professional, efficient and courteous. I encourage them to be more responsive. I have to wonder if AL customers get lower priority due to the reduced proft for Champion.

It didn't take too long. When he was finished, he explained what he had done and gave me advice on maintenance and what to watch for. He was very nice and yes, I'd call them again.

I purchased a coupon from Angie's list for garage door maintenance and to replace bottom seals. I have three garage doors and purchased this deal for two of them. I received an email a couple days later letting me know that they have my info and that they were very busy right now but would be contacting me to set something up. Of course a few days later I come home and one of the garage doors won't open and is making all kinds of noise. I sent an email to Champion and let them know what was up and asked when they may be able to fit us in. Talk about timing! I received an email within an hour from Mike asking me for my number and letting me know he would try to fit me in later that day so we could be up and running again. They came out late that afternoon and did the maintenance on the doors and replaced seals and let us know the garage door opener could be repaired or we could replace it. We chose to replace it. Champion had a coupon for a new garage door opener that was no longer being offered on Angie's list. They gave me that deal anyway. They also showed me how worn the rollers were on both doors and that one of the brackets on my main door was actually broken. They replaced the rollers and the broken bracket that first night for me and also looked at the third door. They lubed that door and replaced the bottom seal even though that wasn't what they were there for and they did it at a reduced price. They came back the next afternoon and installed the new opener and showed me how to maintain the doors myself every spring and fall. Ended up spending more than planned but the doors run so much smoother now and I'm almost considering just having them install one of the new openers on my main door as well! It's so quiet and smooth and I'm jealous! I would recommend Champion anytime.
