They would have cleaned the fireplace chimney at a discounted price of $75 if they found build up but said it was in good shape and did not need further cleaning. Overall, a very good experience and I would recommend them.

 + -1 moreWe bought the deal in August but didn't end up scheduling anything until October. The communication with them was quick, straight-forward and easy. It was really easy to use the coupon we'd already purchased. He was on time and professional and didn't try to sell us on any unnecessary additional services, but did make some helpful maintenance suggestions. He did a quick, thorough job and we're glad we had the work done - we're pretty sure the person who owned the home before us had not cleaned the ducts before, so they were dirty! We'd definitely hire them again.
Description of Work: We took advantage of an Angie's List coupon/deal to have AAA Anderson's come out and clean and sanitize our air ducts.

 + -1 moreThe two men that cleaned our ducts were friendly and did quick work. Three issues with the service: 1. No brushes or other physical cleaning of the ducts were done. Only compressed air and a vacuum were used to clean. Compared with other duct cleaning services I have used previously that uses brushes, the end result did not seem as clean. 2. They used a chemical spray in the ducts. They began using without asking us if we had any concerns and without providing the MSDS. Several sources, including the EPA, recommend caution regarding the use of chemicals for duct cleaning. 3. Several spots where ducts were removed were dirty after the cleaning. It seemed debris from removing the duct grates were left behind without cleaning with a vacuum or covering with a protective cloth.

 + -1 moreOverall everything went well except for the dust ball left behind in the one vent I checked. That was a big disappointment. The service people were nice and professional. They came on time and were good at answering my questions.
Description of Work: $149 included vacuuming air ducts and cold air returns. The vents were not taken off of the cold air return, and when I removed one in order to paint, I pulled out a big massive dust ball (the size of a softball). The inside of the duct was dusty when I wiped my hand on it, but that may be normal...not sure. They also sprayed a disinfectant into the vents to kill bacteria. I spent another $40 for the furnace to be cleaned, and the service person was helpful on answering questions on my humidfier and air cleaner. He seemed very knowledgable. The only disappointment was the big ball of dust. I have not taken off the other cold air return vents to see if there are other dust balls lurking around.

 + -1 moreThey were vey easy to contact and schedule. Kim listened to our concerns and made adjustments as necessary. On the day of the service, I received a phone call as promised 20-30 minutes prior to their arrival. Upon arrival, they were very courteous and professional, once again listening to my concerns and the explaining what they were going to do. The worked quickly and cleaned up after they were done. He explained what might be the issue and then was careful to put in notes for the next person should I need to follow up. I felt confident in his work and would definitely call back.
Description of Work: They completed a thorough cleaning of both our front load washer and dryer, including the dryer vent, lint filter and soap dispenser.

Description of Work: Used an Angie's Big Deal to have them clean and service a water heater in a condo. The heater is about 10 years old and had not been drained/refilled/cleaned in a number of years. The two guys who came out were very professional and helpful. They performed their service and then changed out the coil where the flame is since they said that appeared to be the only thing that looked old/worn enough to need replacement. They had the part on the truck and took care of it right then and there. All told, very happy as it was an inexpensive and quick service.

 + -1 moreEverything went well, except that the told me I should consider replacing my washer house to an aluminum hose that they had in stock. I agreed to this. They placed the new hose on the washer but did not install it correctly, thus water leaked onto the floor and the washer stopped working. I called immediately and they corrected the installation error with no further problem and were very apologetic about the problem. So, in short, I was not hugely upset about the service call and they did a great job with the duct cleaning, apart from the hose installation issue. I was very impressed with their customer service department and willingness to quickly fix the problem.

They patiently and clearly explained what they were doing and answered my questions. they cleaned up after themselves, and I went beyond what was required in the deals I purchased. I would definitely use AAA Anderson again, and I would recommend John and Drew.
Description of Work: The service person, John, cleaned and tuned up my refrigerator and dishwasher; the service person, Drew, checked my dryer (I had 2 deals completed during this service call. John moved the refrigerator so he could vacuum behind and beneath the appliance. He checked the temperature of the unit. I told him of my concern with the temperature in the back being colder than that in the front, and he said that was normal. John checked and freshened the dishwasher and also checked the performance of my disposal, which was unexpected and appreciated, since it wasn't part of my deal. Drew checked and cleaned my dryer., I told him it wasn't sensing when the clothes were dry. He explained to me that the sensor was located in the front, which he considered a design flaw, so there was nothing that could be done. He was thorough in his explanation to me and apologetic on behalf of Maytag, the maker of my dryer. I was impressed with his knowledge and his concern for my problem. He looked at my washer and explained that it needed new hoses, which I agreed it did, so for a reasonable additional charge of $60, Drew installed no-leaking hoses. I am very pleased and grateful he suggested it.
