No work done. Not available until next year. Why a deal if you are taking the month of Dec off?

Called them October 14. They came out October 16. Provider was owner of business and after examining the machine told my wife what part needed to be ordered and charged $89.95 (PayPal AAA Anderson) for service call. We paid by credit card. He ordered the part and it was due to arrive October 18, but it ended up being delayed and didn't arrive until October 21. He came out to put the part in on October 22. When he put it in, he thought another part might need to be replaced as well, but wasn't sure. We paid him $65 more by credit card (again to PayPal AAA Anderson). That night we ran the machine and it leaked again. We called AAA Anderson and he said he would order the other part. He said he was 100% sure this second part would fix it. He said the part would arrive the following week. The day the part was due they called and said it had arrived. Then we scheduled to have the part installed, however they called and said the part didn't come and they had to reorder it. They blamed the computer of the part supplier for this mix up. However, it should be noted that he failed to confirm the part was there before calling us, telling us the part was in, and scheduling a time to install it. The new order of the second part was now scheduled to arrive November 7. They never called us on November 7 so we had to call the next day. Owner's wife called back and said he had the part and he could come out that afternoon. My wife asked her for a discount because of the repeated delays and she said my wife would have to ask the owner/repairman about that. He arrived with another worker and he replaced the part. As they were finishing my wife asked what kind of discount they would give us since the job took almost a month. He started to get upset and said he couldn't control the part supplier. My wife insisted we should get a discount due to delays and he should be concerned about good customer service overall, even if things were out of his control. After this he started yelling at my wife in front of our 3 young kids. Finally he said he was leaving and refused to take any payment. My wife stated she wanted to pay for the part ($65), but wanted a $20 discount for the overall job. He yelled it wasn't worth his time and left without taking any payment. He didn't confirm that the dishwasher wasn't leaking after the job (it was running at the time). It leaked within minutes of him leaving. It leaked as if no repairs had been made. I called and left a message that the machine still leaked so he would know he failed to fix the problem. Also, he took the old parts without asking us. This is NOT acceptable practice. A repairman should ALWAYS ask if you want the old parts. It is obvious to me now that he didn't know how to fix it and was just trying a couple things hoping it would work. My wife called the credit card company that night and disputed the two charges totaling $154.95. On November 13 we received a check from AAA Anderson for $154.95 and an invoice apologizing for not finding or fixing the leak. On November 14 my wife called and cancelled the credit card dispute and I deposited the check. A few days later he called me and he said he had been insulted and was upset about the credit card dispute. I assured him we had cancelled the dispute and I would support him in getting his money from the credit card company. That same day my wife called to say his wife called her asking us to send them a check saying the credit card company won't cancel the dispute and it takes too long for them to get their money. I told her it was resolved, that I had talked to the owner and assured him we cancelled the dispute and would make sure they got their money from the credit card company. We paid Sears $250 to fix it right and now it works great. They only came out twice. Once to identify the problem and once to install the parts that arrived on time. Also, they let us keep the old parts like it should be. On November 26 he called me at 7:30 AM complaining about the dispute, yelling at me, calling me a thief for cashing his check, and threatened to sue us if we didn't send him a check. I again assured him he would get the money from the credit card company. Now it seems he wants the credit card/Paypal money and the money he sent as a refund/apology. He is now claiming he did the work and paid for the parts so he should be paid regardless of the fact that he didn't fix the problem and we had to pay Sears to do it right. We confirmed with the credit card company that a credit was issued to Paypal and they are mailing confirmation of this to us. I also called PayPal and they assured me that they would credit his account immediately upon credit card company issuing credit. However, they couldn't confirm a credit to his account for privacy reasons. He is welcome to the parts, but we are not paying for failed work or for his ridiculously unprofessional behavior. Also because he, of his own accord, sent us a refund and in writing acknowledged he failed the job. 12/18/13 Just received a call again from AAA Anderson demanding a check. They called my husband a week or so ago and did the same, continuing to threaten a civil suit, which she said she would file today though they told my husband they were doing it a week and a half ago. I reiterated to them again that our credit card company has canceled the dispute (the same day we received the check from AAA Anderson), recharged us the fee to PayPal AAA Anderson (which has been paid already by us!), but they are saying they have not received anything from PayPal and are accruing fees which we will have to pay. We have written proof that our CC company has canceled the dispute. I told her that we will not be paying and that I wish they would have admitted their error in the beginning and told us they would send us a check for the amount we had paid them and we would have never filed a dispute with the cc company. She said they did call both my husband and me multiple times saying that they were sending the check, but we did not receive any calls nor do our phones have any record of these supposed calls. They have chosen to use PayPal for their business and we cannot know whether Paypal has paid them or not since it is not our account, but we have not been paid twice since our credit card company canceled the dispute, rebilled us, and it has been paid already.

Excellent service, would hire them again.

Cleaned ducts and dryer vent. Very happy with the staff at Anderson's.They were very pleasant to deal with and did a great job.

Dan was great. On time and with a great attitude. Initially I just ordered the fireplace cleaning, but, since he was there I thought I'd have him inspect and clean the furnace. He was more than happy to do that for me too. He also sprayed for any dust mites or mold that may have been in the furnace, which I really liked. Thank you Dan!

I bought a coupon for dryer vent cleaning for $75 and they made an appointment for between 10-12. The technician called at 10 and said he'd be there in 10 minutes. He cleaned the vent and was done in half an hour. I thought one of my kid's socks was in the vent but he couldn't find it so I don't know where it is but that's fine. But, he was able to clean the vent by blowing it out to the outside and didn't need to charge me to get up on a ladder to the side of the house where the vent exits. I'll probably hire them to clean our heating/cooling vents now.

The technicians were very knowledgeable, prompt and explained everything clearly to me. They tried very hard to fix the remote control issue, but it was irrepairable due to my neglecting to change the batteries which rotted and shorted out the device. I would definately use this service again.

After I cleaned and repainted my gas fireplace, I wanted a professional service tech to check both gas and electrical connections. They confirmed that both systems were operating all right.

It went very well. They cleaned the dryer vents and they sanitized the washing machine.

The service was not so good, but it was okay. The guy that came out, cleaned the house within 20 minutes. We are not sure if it is an average time or it is too short. It is a two story building and it should have taken around an hour. We expected a better job, so that's why we bought the deal for over $100 one.

It was fine. They did nothing more than what we expected them to do.

The guys were friendly and completed the job quickly.

The serviceman arrived on time for the appointment. He cleaned all the ductwork with a vacuum hose sending the dirt to a "container" in his truck. He followed that up by removing the geothermal furnace filter from our heating/cooling system and putting together two "regular" furnace filters, thus doubling the filtering, in its place. Then he came upstairs and blew the air through every register sending that through the ductwork to the filters he had attached to the geo furnace. It was incredible how much dirt came through. He replaced our geo filter when he finished. We know we have much cleaner air in our home as a result of the service he performed. Overall, we were most satisfied with the work he performed. Even my husband was satisfied . . . and that says a lot! |

It went well. I used the deal in October of this year and I wasn't charged anything extra. They cleaned and tuned up a gas fireplace.

I asked how spraying something into the open of the duct would loosen the dust 6, 10, 12 etc. feet into the duct. He replied that the spray would loosen the accumulated dust. I tried to believe what he said but based on my experience and knowledge of 40 years I determined that what he was doing was absolutely useless. From what he showed and told me it seems like a scam. If it isn't a scam, he should have told me more about the operation so I would better understand it. Based on this experience, I could never recommend them to anyone.

The came in and inspected the job then decided the Best way to do the job. They were quick and efficient. They were respectful of my carpets by removing their shoes. They did everything I paid for and added no extras or unexpected charges. I was very satisfied.

They added some additional material to help keep the fire looking like the logs were burning.

They called and were ahead of schedule, so they asked if it was ok for them to come early. Once they arrived, they were quick and efficient. Ended up paying a little more to have them do another fireplace, but there was no pressure to do so. They did a fabulous job and as it turned out, our fireplace was not working, so they figured out the problem and got it up and running again.

Appointment setter contacted me shortly after making the Big Deal purchase online. Appointment times were convenient. Repair personnel showed up on time and quickly cleaned and repaired a problem with the fireplace as it was not working.

The crew was prompt but rather unprofessional in demeanor and language. There was a bit of clean-up needed after their visit but nothing too bad. They got a fair amount of debris and dust from our vents. Since this is using compressed air, it's not as thorough of a job as one of the rotating brush units. We weren't dissatisfied with our experience, but we weren't terribly impressed, either.
