+ 0 moreThe process was quick. Because of weather issues we had to reschedule a couple of times but they did what they said they would do. They did leave a little bit of a mess behind, not sure if they noticed or not. I had to vacuum the whole house to get rid of the little dust balls that were not floating around. Maybe that's normal though considering the service I had done. Nice enough guys.

I replied back asking for basic information and gave my typical availability and included a day, at least a month out, when I knew I would not be working. I never heard back from them.

+ 2 more$I think rather well except for the sales pitch to attempt talking me into also doing additional items of cleaning the combustion areas of the gas furnace, gas water heater and gas clothes drier -- things that I do myself. Although, I will have to admit that his actions did remined me to do these things more frequently than I have been doing them. Also, I've come to expect the commercial need to extend the purchase of every service as a very normal thing these days when each job has to be probed to create as much profit and work opportunity as possible. Because of health appointment needs we had, they adjusted their schedule to work with us after having established a time for the service that had to be changed. We appreciate that kindness.
Description of Work: Provided drilled holes for access to the vent system of our heating and cooling distribution system adjacent to the furnace plenum just as it leaves the furnace. After collecting the loosened dirt with air pressure from both the outlet and return ends while using an air pressure hose poked into each outlet and return vent leading to the furnace, then inserted an air pressure hose into the holes made near the furnace and withdrew it while agitating it to clean each branch through the distribution system and returns leading to every room of the house while collecting the loosened dirt by means of a large diameter suction hose leading to a vacuum bag outside the house as powered by a system in their truck. They also opened the end of one branch and removed a substantial amount of dirt through that branch, again sucking it out of the house through their system.

The provider showed up on time, was pleasant and courteous, performed the work he came to do, and provided thorough and helpful information about the work completed, the care and maintenance of the fireplace, and how to operate the fireplace safely. I would definitely use this provider again in the future.
Description of Work: The provider performed a gas log fireplace tune-up, cleaning and inspection for me. The fireplace had not been working for a while since we had been unable to re-light the pilot light and this was not a service that our gas company provided. He cleaned the exterior and interior of the fireplace, making sure that the glass was nice and clean, cleaned all the inner workings of the fireplace, and re-lit the pilot light for us. He took the time to explain why he was doing each thing, why it was important, and how to prevent any future problems. The walls of the fireplace had rusted some from the pilot light being out and he gave me a recommendation for a company to use to refurbish the walls if we decided to do that.

+ -1 moreI wasn’t really happy with them. The person wasn’t very professional. He wasn’t really helpful with problems. He misdiagnosed something that wasn’t wrong. I wasn’t happy with their service. I thought the deal was for a diagnose and repair and clean the fireplace and when they came, it was only to clean and that didn’t fix the total problem and I had to use someone else to fix the problem I had.
