They did a fantastic job! Our windows are sparkling, the window sills are spotless and the screens are perfectly clean. The cleaners were very nice and respectful of our time and space. I got two other quotes from other companies and they were $100 - $200 more expensive than My Girls. We will definitely use them again!

First off, they came out and quoted well, priced a little higher than the competition but looked like a solid company. They looked good on paper, but I knew there was a catch.
First cleaning went well and did a fair job. 
Second time out, again did a fair, not great,but fair job cleaning. They missed a number of spots, but when called on it, next time around they took care of them. It became a theme with them as time went along. Issue, call and they fixed, but then missed something else the next time.
The Issue that caused them to loose our business : A couple days after one of our cleanings my wife asked what happened to the dining room table. I was like what are you talking about? Looked and it was taped up under where part was broken. We started asking questions because it looked like someone tried to fix it. We called the cleaning company and after chasing them and pressed them for an answer if they had something to do with it. The manager called finally and said that not only did one of the girls break the table, but they dug in our drawers and got tape and taped it back together to cover it up. Not only did they damage something, they dug for supplies to fix it in our drawers, then they tried to cover it up and never told us. That is where the problems stated.
We called and chased them for weeks in an attempt to get this solved, My Girls Solution; we the home owners track down someone down and have them fix the table and then we will figure out what to do about the bill. If one of my employees broke something and then covered it up, I would be over the moon to make sure that person got the white glove treatment to make sure it was fixed and the customer was happy. Instead, since the incident we have had them clean a couple more times and the level and quality has suffered. It has been over 3 months and the My Girls Owners don?t care to press the issue and they have had sub-standard service since. I have asked around and a number of people are also having issues with their level of service. I would not recommend. A company that allows their employees to cover up damages they do while in your house, what else are they over looking.
Final thoughts: I thought they were a good clean, family owned company, I was wrong. Crazy was we email about the concerns about the table and poor service in the end, their response ?Wish things would have went differently, but we know weren't not a good fit for everyone.? ? Wait a second, According to a MY Girls Rep, people are ok with Poor Service and Stuff getting
broken. I guess we are the odd couple who are NOT OK with things getting broken and poor service. Watch out for these ladies.

It went really well. Liked the woman who came out to see my space and give me an estimate. Price seemed fair and I was able to schedule quite easily. Minor miscommunication in that they didn't clean my fridge and said it wasn't checked on the slip they called the office and said they could do it but it would be an additional charge. I asked to talk to the office directly and explained the initial experience with the estimator and that she'd likely just missed a box as she filled out the form. She agreed what I said made sense and agreed to have the women clean it quick I was very pleased. Would rehire them. Thank you!

My home is not that big (3 beds, 2.5 baths) and a team of 3 ladies spent 2.5 hours cleaning. We don't have many nik-naks or things like that-- most things are put away. We are a couple with a dog and no kids. We both travel a lot so there was quite a bit of dust but the house wasn't too filthy.  We have used quite a few other cleaning services before and I felt the final outcome of the cleaning was average overall (disappointing given the cost, but the house is now cleaner than it was before they came). I teach college students and I feel a C means average or "alright." An A is outstanding and a B is above average. I really wrestled with what rating to give here and I felt C is most accurate.
First the good: I was impressed by the cleaning of the hard wood floors. They did much of it by hand and there were no streaks or debris that had just been pushed around. I also thought the bathrooms looked good.
And the rooms cleaned by the team leader were excellent-- looked as nice as a 5 star hotel.
They were courteous and and I didn't want to stand over them while they were working, as if I didn't trust them. It wasn't until they left that I realized they missed LOTS of things during this "deep cleaning"-- very disappointing. They missed the following (which the materials state are supposed to be included in a deep cleaning):
-cleaning the vent on the outside of the microwave (it was very dusty)
-cleaning the vent on the outside of the oven door (also very dusty)
-stovetop still had grime around the burners (and the stove is only about 5 years old)
-dusting a side table in a bedroom
-moving items on the desk in order to dust the whole surface (perhaps they were instructed not to touch papers?)
-vaccuming an upholstered bench (lots of dust on it)
-dusting the blinds in the basement
-dusting the windowsill in the basement
-wiping the outside of one kitchen cupboard that is off to the side (away from the other cupboards)
-cleaning the refrigerator in the basement (they didn't wipe the outside, much less give a wipe-down inside, which is supposed to be included in a deep clean)
I called and spoke to Jenn who acknowledged that these areas should not have been missed. Since I didn't notice these things until they were gone, I feel it's most fair to provide feedback and then give them another chance. 
I wasn't sure if vacuuming the hearth is covered or not, but they didn't do it. There are still bits of wood everywhere from the last time we made a fire. I also noticed they did not dust my guitars or other musical instrument cases (perhaps they are nervous about touching those, which is understandable).
I am not sure but I believe these rooms with all the missed items were done by the subordinate ladies, not the team lead. I wanted to be kind/respectful and not "supervise" them or check their work with a "white glove test"-- this was perhaps naive. It looks like maybe customers should perform their own white-glove inspection because the team leader apparently did not inspect the others' work very closely.  I was planning to have them come every 3 or 4 weeks but now I don't know.  We'll see.
I will give them another chance and if the next cleaning is better, then I will write a beaming review (or update this one). Since the previous reviews were so glowing, I think it's only fair that other Angie's List customers be aware that the quality could be hit-and-miss so some spot checks might be in order right after the cleaning.  I would have found their performance acceptable for a "regular" cleaning but not as a "deep" cleaning.

They were very was y to work with.  I called for a quote and they went out to the property within a day of my call.  Sent me a quote through email.   I think we were then able to schedule within a few days after that.   They took time on the phone and through email to answer all of my questions very thouroughly.  Service was done the day they said. This was not the house we lived at and they had no problems with letting themselves in with a lock box and locking the house back up.  Also, because this house is empty and being in MN, we asked that they turned the toilets off after done washing.  They did that no problem.  Doesn't sound like a big deal, but the last thing we wanted was a running toilet with no one there or a frozen pipe burst.  They worked with us and that is the point I am trying to make

My Girls responded quickly when we called for an estimate; their estimator arrived promptly for the appointment and explained their services clearly and completely.  We were favorably impressed with their pricing, although there is a surcharge for the first time. The cleaning team arrived on time and were courteous, professional, and thorough.  They missed one easy-to-overlook spot, which we will point out next time.  We have engaged them for regular service, every 4 weeks.

we were mostly happy with the service provided. very clean home when they were done, very professional cleaners. our problems came when we had to reschedule an appointment. we were going out of town and had to cancel a visit. it took 3 days to get our call returned. it was also frustrating that even though they promised the same crew every time, we didn't have the same crew more than once. we had them come the same time of day, same day of the week, and still no consistency.

We were very pleased with the cleaning services provided by MyGirls. We set up the cleaning service for before we moved in to our new home, and they coordinated a schedule with our realtor to get into the house. The service was great - we were able to move right in to a spotless house and focus on the hard work of unpacking instead of worrying about cleaning first. The house was spotless.
MyGirls was great about giving us an estimate in advance, and also giving us an estimate for a variety of future services. We were pleased with the professionalism, communication, and results, and we would be thrilled to use them again.

Used services 09-04-2013 Company Representative interview 09-03-2013. The company name and literature implies that the cleaning would be the daughters of the owners, but ... other than the representative of the company that did the interview, that was not the case. Very easy to schedule my cleaning. Rep stated 'Joe' would probably stop over; and someone would call to see how cleaners did. No one stopped over or called. I stated I might use them for regular cleanings if the job was satisfactory. I used the Deep Cleaning for $165.00. A lot of money for what I would have called a general cleaning. Of a 2400 sq. ft. Home. I specifically asked that the inside glass shower walls be cleaned and they did not do that; they did clean the inside shower laminate walls very well. Service OK. Would rate a B- or C+ on Angie's list. Allison, one of the cleaners seemed very good; another cleaner did not speak English. One of the cleaners did not seem to do a good job. There was obviously a big difference in the quality of the cleaning between the three girls that cleaned. The girls used rags of micro-fiber. I had cleaned my stainless steel dishwasher ahead of time and it was spotless! When they cleaned they left it very very streaky. Go figure. The bathroom mirror was also pretty streaky as well. I have six panel doors throughout and some were cleaned and some didn't seem to have been cleaned at all. Upstairs looked much better than the downstairs. I would use them again, but would check the work before I paid perhaps and/or have a rep from the company check the work before they left.

When I signed up with them and gave them my requirements, which were very few, I asked that they clean my shiny Ikea cupboards with only soap and water, and to only use water on my bamboo floor.  No problem if they use my dish soap and she said they use a steam cleaner. They asked what time they should be done by, and I said 4:00PM but certainly no later than 5:00PM.  They said they would call the morning of the cleaning to let me know when they would arrive.  By 9:00AM I had to call and leave a message.  They called back at 11:30 and I was told the cleaning team had tried to call me (but no call ever showed up on my phone). Finally the cleaning team called at 3:00 PM to say they were on their way.  They arrived at 3:45 for a deep cleaning. My husband arrived home at 5 and we had to wait outside for over an hour for them to finish the job they were totally rushing through.  It was not too deep in my opinion, and then I kept finding places they missed. They used a quarter of my dish soap and the cupboards were very cloudy and had to be redone and I told them so. There were no wet or damp spots anywhere in the house. The next visit I requested they come 1st thing in the morning, which they did.  I had to leave so I do not know how long they were there or what happened, other than that evening we discovered that the clear door bumper guard on our shower door had been removed.  It was there to keep the door from crashing into the glass tiles.  I mentioned this to Dana when discussing the next cleaning and asked that they be careful until it gets replaced.  I then requested that they please clean the kitchen faucet with the hose that had not been cleaned previously.  She assured me that they would clean it with a toothbrush.  The day of the 3rd cleaning came and again there were no phone calls at all from the cleaning crew.  They showed up at 2:00, rushing in.  I could hear a lot of crashing about and clattering of my things.  At one point I went into the kitchen after hearing a crash to see them returning my vintage designer chair back into the living room (this after I had shown them where the foot stool was kept). Then I see them spraying window cleaner on my cupboards.  When they left, I saw that the faucet still had not been cleaned, and I have deep scratches on the keypad of my built in microwave. The floors seemed to only been swiffered and not damp mopped as there are spots that have been on the floors since before they were hired.  I have also discovered a cracked glass tile from the shower door handle. 
Bottom line- I'm looking for someone else.  If you can live with lack of notice, not following simple instructions and general lack of respect for you and your property, hire them.

They came promptly and did an awesome job of cleaning our house from top to bottom.  The girls were really nice and did a very thorough job for us.  We had used them years ago and were very excited to be going back to having them clean our house.  They are also very competitive with their pricing.  We have already signed them up to do our housecleaning on a bi-weekly basis and they were very competitive with the others we had looked at to complete.  It is really nice to have a clean house again!

As I mentioned, they deep cleaned my house including wiping down the base boards and cleaning the blinds. They were very efficient and professional and did a thorough job. I was happy with the results. Melanie came by on Tuesday to evaluate the job and determine the cost. I needed my house done the same week and they were able to make an appointment for three days later on Friday. I will have them back.

I received a confirmation call the night before and was told the cleaning people would be out in the morning and would call me before they came out. Unfortunately, no one called and no one showed up. When I did call My Girls, I was told that they are usually reliable and that she didn't understand why no one had called or why they hadn't shown up. However, she did not try and rectify the situation or for that matter try to retain my business. I actually thought someone from the company would have called me yesterday to apologize and try and get another cleaning scheduled. Needless to say I am not impressed and have booked another cleaning service.

They were great on the phone and booking very easy. Had first appointment and they did a very poor job at cleaning. Did not move anything just cleaned around everything. They did not speak good English so hard to describe to the cleaners that showed up. We called and complained and they came out the next day to make it right. That was very nice. But again not moving items on counter just cleaned around them. We will not be using them again.

I have been very happy with the service provided by My Girls.  They have been coming for 10 weeks now (5 bi-weekly cleans).  They always arrive promptly and have never missed a clean.  The girls are sent in a team of 3 and the $135 price tag includes approximately two hours of time (5-6 hours of cleaning).  While I have never used a cleaning service before and therefore cannot offer a comparison, I have been very pleased with the results of their work. 

One plus for me was that upon initial contact, My Girls sent someone to the home to actually see our home and discuss what our wishes were.  Two other companies I contacted priced the services via email.  The in-person consultation helped me feel confident that My Girls knew what I was looking for and that the price I would be paying for service was accurate based on the size of our home, current level of cleanliness and number of surfaces that they would be dealing with.

To date, I have not had to contact the office regarding any dissatisfaction so I cannot offer any opinion on that, however, my experience with the initial contact leads me to believe that this company would be very responsive to my needs.

With a busy home including two working parents and three active kids, My Girls has been an unbelievable lifesaver.  I come home relaxed to a clean home; the pressure to balance cleaning over the weekend and still find time for quality family time has been is gone.  I wish I had realized the benefit of this service a long time ago!


Update:  3/5/14:  We have continued to use My Girls bi-weekly since June and I couldn't be happier.  They have never missed a clean and it is so refreshing to come home after they have been there.  As homeowners employing a cleaning service I think it is important to recognize the homeowners' role in preparing their house for cleaning.  For the best service, clear the counters and floors of clutter to make surfaces accessible.  Do a general straightening before cleaning and not only will the cleans be more effective, you will return to a perfect home!
