Keith arrived about 30 min after estimate, not too bad. Friendly, professional, knowledgeable and helpful in advising how locks should be changed. re-keyed about 9 locks, dead-bolts and regular door knobs into our newly moved-into house. Could not have gone better really. Job took about an hour. Only thing which I found a little odd, probably a good reason for it, I just don´t know what it is, but when I scheduled service, i was requested to text a photo of both sides of the key I wanted changed. (?). But what if I changed my mind or the tech did not show? They would have had a (photo) copy of my key! I dunno. Maybe they do things differently here in pure MI.

While stopping for gas for my Honda Shadow 750 motorcycle, the key broke off in the locking gas cap. Since it was also the ignition key, I was unable to ride my bike, and had to hitch a ride home on the back of my husband's motorcycle. Fortunately, we were only a mile from home, and were able to return with my spare key and a duplicate gas cap borrowed from my neighbor. After attempting to remove the broken key ourselves, we gave up since we didn't want to damage the seal or mess up the tumblers. Instead, we decided to call our local Romeo Village Locksmith, whom we had used before when we needed keys made. We dropped the gas cap off, and my husband explained to Bob how a motorcycle locking gas cap works, since there are safety features that prevent the key from being removed from the gas cap when not on the tank. We were told that they could also have removed the key if it had broken off while the gas cap was still attached to the bike, but the service call would have been $45.00. One day later, we picked up the gas cap which works perfectly! Bob had managed to retract the broken key without disassembling the locking cap, since he didn't want to risk damaging the seals. Once back home, I was able to place the locking gas cap on the bike, and retract the new key without any difficulty. Thanks a million, Bob!

Called, set up appointment, arrived on time, performed service in a timely manner and they left. Not very exciting, but I'm more than happy and that's what counts!

Robert Cameron and his wife are very responsible and responsive. I have had them come out to the house on a couple of occasions. When I call I am very confident. Robert was a former Michigan state officer and he worked his way up to detective. The last time I called, he had someone who works with him, who is very knowledgeable, come out to fix my lock as well as something else that has been a chronic problem here for years. He said he just noticed the other problem when he was fixing the lock! They have a storefront that sells anything you might need for security as well.
