I used HomeAdvisor to select this company. They sent someone out to our house to measure and gather info. A salesman from L and S arranged a zoom meeting to discuss the work and present a quote. We decided to award the job to L and S and arranged to meet the salesman to choose colors, sign the agreement and provide the required 1/2 down payment. We paid, we signed, we chose, and then two days later, someone else from L and S called and said that they decided that they would not do the job for the agreed-upon price and that it would be substantially more money. Now we have to start all over again. I wonder what would happen if instead of them changing their mind, we did and decided to cancel the order, I expect they would have kept the money, and claimed *we have a signed agreement*. I would advise steering clear of this outfit as it seems that even if you have a signed agreement, they can just change their mind if it suits them and cancel you. Although they offered a competitive price, they were not significantly lower than all other bidders, so we are not sure what caused them to change their minds. I suggest, look elsewhere.

Came out to estimate quickly. Came back to contract quickly. Installed quickly and efficiently. Great job and service all the way around. A follow up call a few days later to make sure I was happy. First rate!

The company was very prompt with communications. They offered many discounts if willing to negotiate. They were flexible to make sure the job was done on time.

This team of professionals were outstanding and knowledgeable. Starting right from the sales representative who took the time to show us their product and tell us about the company's history to the installers who made sure everything was done correctly, to the customer service contact, Heather, who made sure we were happy before she would take our final payment. This company is one of the best we have ever worked with! I would recommend them to anyone that has a job to get done and does not want to worry about a thing. 5 stars is not enough!

I experienced professionalism and timeliness from the quote to completion of the replacement of my Asphalt Roof by L&S. They provided top quality product with superb workmanship. And last but not the least, they were the lowest out of 4 quotes I received. I will be happy to recommend them to my friends.

Did a nice job

I was happy and impressed with the company. I was kept informed at all steps; everyone showed up when scheduled at the time scheduled. the crew did a great job of installation - tore off and replaced the roof in 4 hours. The cleanup was excellent. Highly recommend.

For the price you pay, the quality of work is excellent. Very accommodating in terms of timing on when the installation could be done. When reviewing billing and pricing, all i's were dotted and all t's were crossed. Time will tell how well the quality of job holds up, but I already noticed my house being IMMENSELY quieter prior to the new roof installation, which should speak to some level on the quality of work and materials used. All work was done in a single day, which was also fantastic, and then all work was reviewed by the owner himself, which was a very nice touch.

Turns out I worked with Matt's dad for 16 years. Matt did a complete professional sales job. Arrived on time and spent 90 minutes explaining and answering questions. The other 90 minutes were spent on stories interacting with life experiences. Lol. 3 hours before Matt put the company sign in our yard.

The salesman did a great job in explaining the difference between roof vents and ridge vents, and why one would be better than the other for my roof because of the placement of my chimney.

The overall experience was very "comfortable". My one concern was lack of communication. I think there should have been more frequent updates from the company instead of the need for me to initiate contact with them regarding the actual install date. I appreciate that workers are at the mercy of the weather, but no communication for weeks isn't good either. Overall I am very satisfied with the workmanship. I would gladly recommend the company based on their workmanship.

They were on time, did a great job on the cleanup. Delivered on all their commitments. I think it looks great and so do all my neighbors.

As someone who is sometimes disappointed in the people I hire, I can say this is one of the BEST companies I have ever used. They were very knowledgeable, answered all my questions, fit me in the schedule, and did a quality job. Their crew worked quickly, did a great job, and the clean up was amazing. They even came out and inspected the job before the final payment. They also had their crew come out and tweak a "small" area they felt needed it. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with this company! I finally hired someone who did an excellent job.

I hired L & S Home Improvements to install siding on my 2 story home in Lincoln Park. It was an older home and needed a few extra things done, like the wood on the porch ceiling was bad. They were polite and professional. The people in the office were friendly and a pleasure to deal with. They did a great job and were very professional. I would definitely recommend them for your siding needs.

We selected L & S due to the 5 star reviews and now we will also give them 5 stars. Matt came out and gave us a 5 star power point presentation. We had a small leak and did not want to go into winter with a bad roof. We signed up on 10/12/19 and the job was completed on 11/06/19. We had the house and garage re-shingled in less than 7 hours. The gutters plus leaf shielding was done a few days later-also less than 8 hours. Both crews worked well together and now our roof also has better ventilation due to L & S's expertise. If you want to relax and have a contractor who knows what they are doing-this company is an easy selection. They are customer oriented which is hard to find this day and age. I worked an entire career with a large corporation who also was customer driven so I speak from experience. Thanks again to Matt for being so honest and professional, and to L & S for being such a great roofing company.

Friendly staff. Kept us informed on progression of the work to be done. This was a small siding job in the fall, so they fit us in when they had an opening. Very professional.

L&S replaced our garage roof. They did an excellent job in one day, using high quality products. The price was reasonable, and the crew cleaned up after they were done. Also, a few days after they finish a job one of the owners comes out and inspects everything - including how well the crew cleaned up. We were very satisfied with every aspect of the job they did, and we highly recommend this company.
