Description of Work: They came in and set to work. The workmen were very polite and friendly. They did what they had to do and left, telling me that someone would be in on Monday to finish the electrical. He came and finished as promised. The only part I didn't like was when I asked the sales rep when he asked for the bill if I could pay him 1/2 down and the rest the following week, he emphatically refused the idea. OK, no problem. I remember writing out the check. From then on I am not sure what happened. I don't know how he could have left without me giving them money but then he started calling and asking me for it. At that point I was completely confused as I thought I had paid him, at least 1/2. Otherwise, why would he have left? I still cannot figure out what happened, but I just didn't want to deal with him anymore so I gave them another check for the entire amount. I am not happy also because I did not know I was getting a new thermostat and I cannot understand this one and cannot see it in the evening even though they said the little blue light would make it visible. It looked visible in the daytime but it isn't at night. And even though they gave me instruction and a little booklet, I still cannot figure it out. If they had told me they were changing the thermostat before they actually changed it, I would have asked them to leave it alone. So, I think it would be best to keep the check problem out of the review because I was so confused by that whole incident that I don't know what actually happened.

Description of Work: Our furnace was damaged in the August flood. A service person came and gave us a report of the damage. We chose to replace the furnace. The salesperson came out and calculated the size we needed and did not try to sell us the most expensive, but the one that met our needs at the lowest price. The furnace we chose was installed in two days. Works fine.

Description of Work: Installed new variable speed high efficiency gas forced air furnace and central air conditioning unit. You get what you pay for. Flame Furnace wasn't the cheapest estimate I got, but they offered the best product, service, and warranty by far. I am very pleased and happy to recommend them.

Description of Work: Service call and service contract. |Knowledgeable agent. Pricing was considerably higher than any other bid we got for a furnace and AC reacement. Once we mentioned other bids they came done some, but not even close to consider them.
