Randy did an excellent job with plenty of explanation re the tasks involved. A very personable & knowledgeable young man He also got on the roof to review the outside and top of the chimney and pointed out some issues with previous repairs that will need maintenance it the future. Would request him for any future chimney work

I would highly recommend. They called ahead, were on time, polite, wore booties over their shoes (I appreciated that), professional and pleasantly fielded all my questions. I definitely got my money's worth.

I paid for a service call for my gas fire place. The tech came and said I needed a new part. No one called for a week. The second week I called the company 5 times. Each time I was told someone would get back to me by the end of the day. The last time I really believed the office manager when she said she would get to the bottom of it and get back with me, even if she had to send someone else out free of charge. Now it is the weekend. I am having a big party and cannot have a fire going. Not only do I want someone to come out to repair what needs to be done, I want to be reimbursed the $99 I paid for a bunch of nothing. I will never use this place again or refer anyone.

Stay away from Dr. Sweep. I had them do some repair work two years ago on the chimney cap and flues. They sealed off the furnace flue instead of the abandoned one. During the winter we noticed ice build-up and staining on the face of the chimney. Not knowing what was going on, I contacted them about the situation. When they came out, they realized what they did and unsealed the flue. We were very lucky exhaust gas did not back up into the house. They said they would take care of the problems. They installed a chimney liner and tried to remove the staining on the chimney brick. The stain would not come out, so they tried sealing it as a means of hiding it. My chimney is very large and located on the front of the house, very visible and integral to the design. The stain covers most of the chimney. For the next year it was not great, but acceptable. Then this summer the staining reappeared. I contacted them again about the stain. On August 5th, the owner came out to inspect it and was not sure how to repair it. He stated he would do what he had to do to make it right. He said he would try to file a claim with his insurance to re-brick it. One of the problems with this company is how the insurance is set up. They treat their employees as sub-contractors and they are insured separately. He would have to go after the employees insurance, not Dr. Sweeps. It is now October 10th and I have called a couple of time and have just been given lip service. I have been very patient for two years with this company and this is how they treat a customer. Do yourself a favor and go with another company.

Very good work. We needed if done ASAP and they ordered parts and completed work as soon as they got parts.

I can't begin to tell you how pleased I was with Dr. Sweep. In addition to Dr. Sweep, I called another company for an estimate and they wanted to charge a rather large fee just for looking at our problem. Dr. Sweep did not charge an estimate fee, took care of everything in a short period of time, plus Joel was professional and pleasant to work with. I am in my seventies and my husband is in his eighties, needless to say we are not able to climb up on our roof. You have no idea how wonderful it is to work with a company that doesn't make you feel like you are being "ripped off". Thank you Dr. Sweep.

They were professional Knew their craft. Friendly. Replaced chimney tiles, replaced cement cap and point tucked bricks. Showed up when scheduled and called in advance. Finished the job in the estimated time of same day. Communicated needs and questions well. Great job.

I presume the work quality was as good a the customer service. The individuals who cleaned the chimney appeared to be very knowledgeable.

Doctor Sweep called me back within an hour of submitting the request. The very next day the supervisor was here to look at our chimney. They sent their guys out today and even put a camera in the chimney to make sure everything is good. They are a fantastic company, from their office staff to their field staff - they are courteous, and take the time to show you the condition of things.
