AC unit was replaced in June 2018. Later learned that both electrical and mechanical permits had expired. Called company and was told original owner, Dave, had sold the company, company name, phone contact, etc to another company who was still operating under the name Main Heating and Cooling. The new company would not renew the permits to clear the issues with title because they said they did not do the original work even though they are operating under the old name and reputation. I had numerous interactions with the old Main Heating and Cooling company and the owner. Both were reputable, reliable and honest. This is NOT the prior owner. When business was sold, any outstanding issues should have been resolved and/or new owner should have stepped up to resolve. Would advise to beware of prior reviews.

David arrived early, like not even an hour after I called to look at the furnace and perform service. He was professional, courteous and friendly and did an excellent job! I would highly recommend them to anyone and they will be my first call in the event I encounter furnace issues in the future!

David, the owner, came out and did my quote. He was very friendly, professional, and HONEST. The only thing I was not too thrilled about is the time it took to get it installed. Otherwise, EVERYONE, from the office to the men who installed, were great! 4 days after installation, I noticed my hot water was leaking. David sent a guy out, who was fast in getting to my house, and he did a quick fix. When I asked him how much it was going to cost, he said the boss said NO charge. THANK YOU SO MUCH, DAVID!!!! What a wonderful surprise! I'll be purchasing their reasonable maintenance package for sure.

For about 27 years the service has been good, but recently it has been going down hill. After what I found out from them, I will not use them in the future.

They know what they’re doing. Scheduling is not an issue. Techs who come out are nice, friendly and professional.  They always come out in a timely manner. Plus, that is who Lennox referred to repair a furnace problem.

I called The Lennox company in Texas and talked to them about the furnace and they said it should not be cold and gave me Main Heating & Cooling info to contact.  They have a yearly package for maintenance that they suggested I purchase which was cheaper than paying for a repair visit.

Very professional. On time. Didn't cut corners. The owner and crew were very knowledgeable, and took a lot of time to explain every detail to us. We learned a lot about getting the most out of our air conditioner and furnace. We were quoted $2,000.00 less from another company, only to find out they were going to reuse the copper pipe which would have voided the manufacturer warranty.

comingcInstallation of both took about ten hours. Workers kept me informed on what was being done.  Crew were very friendly and well trained.  Service men called about one hour before they came to let me know they were coming.

They worked very hard to repair my boiler system.  The price charged was more than fair.

A few weeks ago we started having problems with our Kenmore Water Heater. We called MAIN, they had a service man out in a few hours, In that case the thermocouple had failed and was replaced. The service man advised me that the gas control valve should probably be replaced. I ordered one through Sears. Before it came I had a few other outtages that I was able to get around by restarting the pilot light. 
Excellent service and at a good price. 
I will definitely use MAIN HEATING AND COOLING in the future.

They were very professional. I didn't have to wait long for an appointment.

I called late yesterday, and they squeezed me in first thing this morning.  Technician found a dead compressor.  He called and secured a new unit, and returned this afternoon and installed it.  They were all very nice guys, prompt and  professional .  I would use them again in a second. 

Dave and his team at main heating and cooling were great.  They did exactly as they said they would showed up on time and performed the work in a professional manner leaving my home clean and tidy even in the yard where the ac unit was installed.  The owner of the company even showed up to check up on the job.  It is very refreshing to have a company perform to the standards you expect and pay for, and i would highly reccommend this company to anyone seeking heaiting and cooling needs and for the record i already have reccommended them.

Gave company information regarding my water heater when scheduling appointment.  Age of heater and left hand thread information regarding the thermalcouple.  I let them know I was looking at thermalcouple diagnostic and repair.  Service guy came  unprepared for repair.  Appointment was scheduled with knowledge of issue.  There was no mention that they would not have the parts and seemed very quick to recommend replacement even though information was provided prior to the appointment.  Even though I asked for a diagnostic the replacement was recommended.  I feel like the information should have been provided prior to the appointment.  I probably would have purchased the install had the front end been handled with more detail.

We showed up at Main H and C to ask questions. David spent approximately 30 minutes talking with my husband and I answering many questions. He was patient and did not try to "sell" us. While a big box store would have been cheaper, we chose to go with them because of the superior quality you get with a direct distributer. They took the old heater away at no cost. The installation went well and the men were very polite.

Our air conditioner was leaking water and needed to be repaired.  I called most of the highly rated heating and cooling companies on Angie's List and all of them gave an estimate of 2 weeks to come out to our home.  One of the companies stated they were not accepting new customers.  When I called Main Heating and Cooling, the person who answered the phone said that someone would be over the same day.  A few hours passed and I received a call shortly before 5 that the office was closing but we were still on the schedule for service.  Shortly after, the technician arrived and was able to fix the air conditioner.  He explained the problem and what steps needed to be done to maintain the air conditioning unit throughout the summer.  
SInce the air conditioning unit is over 20 years, we knew at some point it would need to be replaced.  This fall, we will be making a call to Main Heating and Cooling for a new air conditioning unit.  
I would highly recommend Main Heating and Cooling.  Excellent company.

Was without heat on one of the coldest nights.  I called every service in the phone book looking for emergency help.  Main was my only response.  No other company returned my call.  Main came out late at night, diagnosed the problem as a blown motor on an old furnace.  Indicated they would have to order the motor and it could take a couple of days.  I was planning to replace the furnace and the water heater.  They temporarily installed the furnace and I had heat.  Finished the job the next day and also installed a new water heater.  All complete to my satisfaction.

The service was good.  The technician that came to work on it almost knew exactly what was wrong with my description and he got it fixed very quickly.  I would rate him highly.  He was here on time.

They called to let me know they were on their way.  I liked that they did not give me a 4 hour window!!!  They were very professional and knowledgeable.
