They did a really good job and they cleaned the ducts real well. They showed me the camera that went into the ducts. I was happy with the way they conducted themselves. Their price was the same as the others.

Fantastic! Why did I wait so long to call them. My house stays cleaner longer, with less dust. The before and after video was impressive.

Did an excellent job! I highly recommend them to everyone. Should be done every 5-7 years. The Angie's price is based on too small a house. We have a small ranch, but it cost $100 more because we had 15 heat outlets instead of the 10. 10 is too small a number for almost any house.

Cleaned carpets throughout the house

It went perfect. My technicians David and Nick were great. They were on time and actually a couple minutes early. They had the wrong contact phone number for me for the first appointment in the morning. They showed up to the house even without sucessfully contacting me to make sure someone was at the home. It was great. They were professional the whole time, they setup and used booties, laid down towel so they would not track in snow from the outside when they came and went from the house. Also used corner guards to protect the walls from the hoses. I was very impressed with the outcome of the cleaning, not all stains could be removed but it looked 1000 times better than it had before they showed up. The house was a foreclosure and I feel much more confident that even though some minor stains that could be removed, the carpet is cleaned. I would highly recommend Modernistic to any of my friends and family.

It went very well as always. The company has many service people who come to your house and they usually do a pretty good job. However, if you think that someone did especially well you can ask for them next time.

Cleaned carpets in home .. Great results .. Explained stains and why they wouldn't come out .. Also, scrubbed ceramic tile in bath !! Looks new !

They were very late. It was like 5:15 on a Saturday night by the time the guy got there. They did a good job but they were late and it was really expensive when it was supposed to be cheap and it ended up being a lot. They service was good. It was just expensive and the guy's colleagues pleaded that they had too much to do.

Their equipment is not designed to handle difficult jobs. Service tech said he could not clean my carpets because of soap residue. However, I believe it was a combination of soap and cat hair. My house is not dirty and I vacuum often. The company should not advertise satisfaction if they cannot deliver.

This is the second time we have used the Modernistic Troy location. The scheduled arranged a time that fit with our needs, and the technicians arrived a little early. They asked us to have all the breakable items moved out of the rooms we were having cleaned before they arrived, then they would handle the furniture and heavier items. The techs either moved the furniture or set it on styrofoam blocks so they could get under it. All together the cleaning took just over two hours but this was because the techs were so detail oriented that they spend extra time working at removing some stains from our living room carpet and area rugs. Overall, Modernistic did excellent work! We are already repeat customers and will use them again in the future.

We just moved into our new (1964) house....and wanted to make sure that we had a clean environment for our family, so called Modernistic for air duct cleaning, we assumed we should do it. They arrived on time - very appreciated and were very professional. Upon initial inspection of several ducts, returns and furnance they indicated that we did NOT need to perform a cleaning this fall and should be good for the next 18 months or so, depending on pets, windows open, etc. I was very pleased that they did not sell me something that we didn't need. We will call them again and recommend. Did not even charge us for a service call. Thank you Modernistic.

Paul Straetmans arrived on time and first thing he did was to review the job from top to bottom. Paul then explained what he would be doing. He did a super job! We had a great deal of construction work done over the past two years and the carpet cleaning was the last thing to be done. We are VERY happy with Modernistic and Paul.

they were able to remove old pet stains

They were very professional. Could not get out the spot of coffee from the carpet but they did lighten it considerably. (I have never found anyone who could get all the coffee out) the carpets were quite wet when they left. They did dry and return to their original shape. They also felt very soft. I have had carpets that felt all stiff after they were cleaned. I would definitely call them again.

Travis and Maurice showed up on time. They were friendly,professional and got to work right away. However, there were services that they offered before they started that were not made clear that included extra charges. They asked if I wanted scotchgarding, and something similar to Febreeze. I assumed that it was included in the price I was quoted on the phone, that was stupid on my part. The $155.95 quote I was given on the initial conversation ended up to cost $231.95 when all was said and done. The additional $76.00 was a surprise. I guess I will be asking more questions next time.

Very impressed with technicians and the great job they did. We had a lot of cat urine in one room which they worked on and were very honest on how hard it is to get rid of urine smell in the padding. Informed us it may take more than one treatment and they could come back and treat it again (at additional cost) which is what we will do if smell doesn't go away. The were prompt and very efficient.
