Guys arrived on time. They were thorough in explaining what to be done, and showing us the before and after photographed from inside the duct.

The guys removed all of the air vent covers and return vent covers and cleaned inside them. They also worked from the basement where the furnace is. The job was loud, which some people might not expect, but I see no way around it to get the job done (they needed to bang around inside the ducts to clean them). I am happy with the service and would use them again.

It was done quickly, effectively and they were very professional.

They were great and really cooperative. The first thing they did was inspect the duct work and they determined an area that was covered with asbestos. They did a fantastic job. We had to reschedule one time because of bad weather and they were very responsive. They were really willing to work with us to honor the Big Deal.

They did a really nice job. It took about 6 hours for the carpet to be totally dry after cleaning. The technicians that came out were very personable and nice. They answered all of my questions. The price was reasonable for the work.

Excellent. I purchased an Angie's list deal. This was very easy to schedule. The workers were prompt and courteous, and they seemed to do a thorough job. The ducts were particularly bad due to cement duct raised during basement waterproofing.

Upon finding the Modernistic website I immediately entered my zip code to confirm they would service my area. After all this is 2014 and most companies have websites that when you enter your zip code it will tell you if they do not service your area. When I was given the "go ahead" that they do service my area and the opportunity to set an appointment and get a full quote; I spent a rather lengthy amount of time on their website reading up on their services and making sure they would be doing exactly as I need. I am selling my home and wanted to make sure all of the carpets would be treated as well as going on multiple other sites looking for other information about them. Once I felt confident that Modernistic would be the company to choose I went ahead and scheduled the appointment on their site directly. Happy with the timeline and confident that I would be getting good service I looked forward to their phone call the next day to get payment, as I wouldn't be at the home when they arrived, as I noted on their "comments" section of my appointment page. Well, they finally called after 1pm the day before the appointment to tell me they don't service my area. So, I went back online to find a different location that probably does service my area. According to their website they supposedly have offices within 20 minutes of my home all around my home, multiple different cities, yet I was told my house was not in their service area! Really!?!?!? I spent my time that I don't have much of to make sure I was hiring a good company only to get a phone call to tell me they don't service my area. They have a top of the line system where you can set your own appointments online, yet they can't simply put in zip codes to get a "Sorry we don't service your area" message so this doesn't happen! Absolutely unacceptable with today's technology!

Honestly I have no idea even if they showed up. They called to confirm appointment, and I never heard from them again. If they could not make it, of could not get in, call me! if you need to re schedule, Call me! If any problems at all... Call me! They did none of that... Sorry

We used an Angie's List Deal for carpet cleaning with Scotch Guard in four rooms and a staircase and hallway. It was easy to add an extra room and staircase for an additional fee that was in line with the deal price. The technicians were on time and very professional. They moved most furniture and placed protectors under the furniture before returning it to its original location. They also cleaned a couple of small area rugs at no extra cost that were located near the areas they cleaned. Our carpets were one year old and there are a couple of areas that had unusual wear for their age and our use, no pets or children in the home. The technician noted that our on receipt so we could take this up with the carpet manufacturer. Overall it was a good experience.

The service was great. They were very friendly and cleaned my fairly new home that was only built in 2011. The Angie's list deal only covers 10 vents so we had to spend and additional $150 to cover the house. Not that bad overall. I would recommend.

He did not show for the appointment or call. I am getting a refund.

The work was fine, but the cost was way too high. I knew going in that the whole house was a limited number of vents, but I didn't expect the price to be almost double. From the camera view, I was able to see what was in my vents.

It went very well! I recently bought my home and learned, after I started getting sick, that the ducts had never been cleaned. I contacted Modernistic. They were very nice and accommodated me rather quickly. On the day of service, they called me to let me know the time frame of their arrival. When the techs completed their previous job, they called to let me know they would be on the way. Nick and Josh arrived ready to work. They introduced themselves and got right to the job. I showed them where the vents and returns were located. Afterward, Nick took a video camera to show me the "before" view of my ducts. Needless to say, I saw quite clearly why I was getting sick. The job went smoothly. They cleaned each vent and even deodorized. The house smells very nice and I feel much better now! The "after" view of my air ducts was impressive. I will definitely use their service again and highly recommend them!

They arrived pretty much on time, were professional and did a good job of cleaning the carpet in the living room, dining el, hallway and three bedrooms. The rooms were empty except for one chair and a TV cabinet, so it was pretty easy for them to do the job. This was the third time I've had them clean my carpet and it's always looked pretty good. I would use them again.

They came on time. We have all the smaller furniture moved. They wore shoe covers. They finished within 1.5 hours:-)

After the longest winter of my life with 5 year-old twin boys and a labordoodle puppy, I took a chance and had our carpet cleaned. I was shocked at the results....our carpet looks brand new. All the dirt, crayon, marker, paint, puppy accidents, etc. is gone! I will be using Modernistic in the future.
