I called Modernistic on a Thursday explained that I needed my carpet & heat ducts cleaned on that Friday or Saturday because I was going in the hospital on Monday for a stem cell transplant. The operator set up two appointments , one for the ducts for Sat. morning & the carpet for Sat. afternoon. Both crews called ahead of time to give me an arrival time. Both were right on time, put on surgical shoe covers before entering my house. The crew cleaning the ducts put drop cloths down to protect the carpet. The carpet crew went above and beyond by moving my bed out of my bed room, because I did not have the strength to do it myself. Both crews were very professional and pleasant to speak with .I felt the price was high compared to others on Angie's list. But considering the short notice and the outstanding service from both crews I would say the price was fair and I got what I paid for.

Arrived on time. Explained the process to us. Did an excellent job cleaning and left a few old - impossible to remove spots. Carpet was wet when technician finished but it dried overnight. Technician protected our wood banisters and left no marks on the walls. While our carpets were not super dirty, they are 12 years old and ivory color. We cleaned them regularly with our rug doctor but wanted to get a really good clean because we had hardwood floors installed on the first floor two months ago. The carpets look and feel great after this cleaning.

Moved into a new home and got carpet in 10 "rooms" cleaned. We also got scotch guard in the family/sunroom. At 8am I received my time window via a call from Mike: 10a-12p. At 9:30, Mike called again to let me know they would arrive in 40 minutes - and they did. Jumped right Into the job and finished about an hour later. Great work. The guys were very professional. We had to rip up the carpet in the home that we just purchased and so we told the guys not to worry about the footies on their shoes. Josh didn't skip a beat and said "It's my job to maintain a professional attire, I will keep these on." The team worked quickly and professionally to complete the air duct cleaning, it was over before I knew it. I highly recommend using Modernistic for all your home cleaning needs.

Modernistic did a great job on all the carpets in the whole condo. The carpets look great. The tech was on time, very polite and friendly. I would definitely use this company again in the future.

We are very happy with them. We have had them here twice and we would call them again. The cost was close to $200 because of the size of the carpet and the area. We are going to call them back again to do another cleaning.

It was good. I wasn't at home when they did the job, but I think they sent 2 techs.

Scheduling was easy, the guys who performed the service were very polite and thorough. Price was reasonable for three furnaces.

They were very good in the performance of the cleanup and also in their professionalism. They went above and beyond and took out some damaged furniture at no charge to help us out.

I called for service on a Thursday and they came out Saturday on time. For the big stains (carpet is 20 yrs old), the guys showed me how hard they tried to get them up. Both men worked hard and were very polite.

I called them on August 13 following the August 11 flood. I was told i was put on a waiting list and that someone would get back to me by end of week August 15 or beginning of next week August 18 and that it would be a minimum of $200.00 for someone to come out. It is August 26 and I have NEVER heard back from them. For sure i would have had a mold problem if i had relied on them and waited for their call. I understand this was a busy and stressful time for all but i also feel a company's reputation is best tested in a time of crisis. A phone call is not an unreasonable request.

Cleaners arrived on time. Setup and showed me the inside of the heating duck using a video cam. Explained what they ware going to do and went to work doing it. Showed me the results with the video can. I think they did a excellent job.

He actually showed up early. Took his time. Actually pulled up some old stains that were in there for years according to the previous homeowner. Sanitized everything.

It was a very good carpet cleaning experience. They called ahead of arrival, were on time, protected our home from hose damage (like on wall corners or woodwork). They did a great job of cleaning the carpets. There was some discrepancy on the coupon terms which resulted in minor additional charges. Also, they could not not accomodate a request to clean the skirting on a couch (for extra charge - i.e. we pay extra) while on that trip. Seemed odd, but it may be policy not to change work orders in progress. All in all, and excellent carpet cleaning company.

I have to strongly recommend Sean Bolton as an excellent technician - if possible, please ask for him! Modernistic has been great in the past but Sean took it to a whole new level. He clearly takes pride in his work and it shows. He has an excellent eye for small stains and uses his equipment very effectively. The crew was timely, knowledgeable and made sure that the walls/corners, etc. were not marked. I use modernistic every year and will continue to do so.

A+ job. Will use them again. They threw in a free small carpet. Friendly, courteous, and enthusiastic with their own job well done.

Awesome, Steve was very professional and friendly. The carpets looked great after and the house smelled great. We added fragrance for an additional $7.
