We communicated about the bid by email.  I sent her pictures of room and she quoted job from those pictures.
Tara was receptive and responsive to all my email questions as I was selecting paint and making other decisions before paint day.  Color change was major from a bright red to a soft gold.  
Team arrived on time.  One painter did fabulous preparation of plaster walls, primed and painted room.  The other removed primed and painted the shutters.  Done is a day.   Very professional conduct.  Very professional results.   We are thrilled!

Tried to get job started 2 months ago, but was hard to get any calls back. Finally got a call back, said I needed to put down deposit to get a job scheduled. Put down a $408 deposit and still didn't get a time scheduled. Finally after a month got them to come out. The owner Tara was extremely rude and unprofessional. Every time I contacted her she would ask if I had her money. She treated me as if I was untrustworthy and would not pay. After they did the painting, I noticed there were some spots that needed touching up. There was stain on the rail, which are white. They also took all the furniture off the deck and placed it in the yard. When they were done paining, they did not place the furniture back. When I called them, Tara said it wasn't her job to place furniture back. The furniture was preventing the association yard people from working on the yard and which I faced a possible fine for the obstruction. I them had to put 6 large flower pots back myself. I was hard for me to dd due to health reasons. There are no steps to the porch, so I had to place them on top on my ac unit, then put then on the porch. They finally came out and put some of the furniture back, but still left some on the yard. I had to take a love seat through my house by myself to get back on porch. She kept calling about her money. Told her to come over and get the check. When she showed up, it was in a beat up truck with no company id. She came in and was rude and unprofessional. I asked for a receipt for the work. She refused to give me a receipt. I had a copy of the estimate and she said she would sign that, but then refused to sign her name. She marked what looked like two u's and said that was how she leaves her name.When i asked her to resign it, she said to sue her if she didn't like it. It was a horrible situation. Beyond the most unprofessional and rude company I have ever used.

Could not have been happier with their service. The job was done above our expectations for a price lower than any of their competitors.

Fantastic experience! From the very start Tara was very professional. All the paperwork was available and every step was outlined and planned. Very easy to work with and they worked efficiently and cleanly. They were on time, and were very respectful of our home and furnishings. They did beautiful work, and help us out in some problem areas. Cleaned up everywhere before they left, including washing the floors! I would highly recommend them and use Speed Pro Painting again in an instant!

My daughter needed 70's wallpaper removed from her house so I found Speed Pro Painting & they did an amazing job. Tara & crew were always prompt, efficient & very neat. We were just going to do the hallways & staircase but it looked so good, we had them also do the kitchen and bath. They had no problem getting all the wallpaper off & painting the high ceiling in the stairway. The house looks brand new again!  Also had them come back to do a bedroom & they were more than happy to fit us in their busy schedule. Will definitely use them for all our future painting needs.

They did a wonderful job! They were very prompt and the work was done quickly and efficiently. The work was exceptional and they were very good about cleaning up after themselves. We would definitely use them again!

Tara did the quote according to the pictures I sent with my phone. I thought this was very progressive since she could take a look at the job remotely and make a quote. She was punctual and we texted back and forth with questions. When her helper Cody arrived however, things started to fall apart. the pictures didn't show enough detail so this put Cody in a bad spot. I ended up running to Home Depot to buy some 3/8" drywall so Cody could do the taping and mudding. And chiseling the backsplash. Tara sent Cody with a hammer and chisel....it would have taken days to get all that thin set off of there! I let him borrow an air chisel to move things along. Glad I had the stuff and that Cody was willing to work with me. Tara on the other hand (whom I never actually met) wanted to re-quote the job and charge me for Cody's time taping and mudding. Furthermore, Tara did not want to send Cody back to sand the putty so it would be ready for paint as stated in the contract. Good thing I only put 30% down. Cody did a good job but I will not use Tara's services again.

Tara was great!  Highly professional, very punctual, great with communication.  She left my utility sink cleaner than what it was before she came!

Tara and the additional painter did a good job. They were incredibly fast. I was wary at first that two people would be able to get the large job done in one day like quoted, when I had been previously quoted by two other providers that it would take two days. They arrived early, and worked quickly to patch holes and to trim and roll the walls. In 5 hours they were done and packing up. If there's any complaint from my end it would be the drywall dust left on the trim, but to be honest, the trim was dirty when they got here so it was in need of a clean anyways. Glad they left the extra paint incase we ding the walls and need to touch up.
Also I should note that I have a dog who tends to be anxious when service providers are in the house, she barks and doesn't settle down easily. Tara was great about giving her attention so she was able to relax while they worked.

Initial response was prompt with a fair estimate. Work begun and finished on time as promised. Tara returned promptly to touch up a couple of minor details.  Cleanup was excellent. A good experience. Would use Speed Pro again.

**Attention All Millennial's**Read Contractor's Response Before Ever Hiring!! This Company obviously doesn't want the business of young people!! 

My wife is pregnant (with twins!) and we wanted the babies' room painted and trim installed. SpeedPro Painting's website clearly states that this is what they do. We filled out the web form and scheduled an estimate. 
Upon seeing the bedroom, Tara became extremely rude with my wife and told her that they "don't do crown molding". She went on to make the comment that we needed a carpenter that painted, not a painting company. Again, their website clearly states that they do much more than just paint, and that is exactly why we called on them.

Mike, Sorry for the confusion. At the time that website page was launched we had a crew member who could install crown. We currently do not. Over several years he installed maybe 3 or 4 rooms. We get maybe one or two requests per  year for the service so I didn't delete the wording on the website. Some of our painters have handyman skills which should not be confused with actual carpentry skills.  I didn't realize you wanted crown installed or I would have said it up front. This is the first time someone said no to everything because we didn't do it. Again, sorry for the confusion.

And this "Crown Molding" is hardly crown at all. It is a small, 1/2" ceiling trim. 
I was very disappointed with the whole ordeal. This company portrays themselves as a "can do" company. That is so far from what happened. Tara was only interested in telling my wife what she could not do, and never offered any solutions. This is a simple job and it was obvious that they were not interested in the work. They never gave me a price and I would have paid just about anything to get the work done. I just didn't want a hassle.

Here's some free business management training:
*The Millennial Generation, I assume you are referring to, is larger than the Baby Boomers, and we make up over 50% of the United States' Population. You should learn how to communicate with us and be grateful that we want to spend money doing things many would do themselves. 
*Keep your website up to date with the correct services you offer. If you chose to use the internet, use it correctly. Expect that people who find you through Angie's List are going to explore your website, especially when they contact you through your website! 
*Don't waste other people's time. We wanted to hire you based on your positive reviews and years in service. Although not a big deal to you, we were quite upset that you sternly said "We don't do crown!" when your website clearly said you did.
*When you show up at someone's home, introduce yourself. 
*Do not make comments such as "You need a contractor who paints."
*Do not make comments such as "You probably aren't even going to call us, are you?"

After that exchange, we certainly weren't going to be hiring you. 

I can understand you not doing Crown. I get it - Crown is quite specialized. However - please know the difference (and ask your crews if they could have done cove molding).

You're correct - I didn't respond to your gracious offer of having some guy you know do the cove molding. I wanted to hire your company, based on the good reviews. 

They did a good job. They got in and got got out!

We initially contacted Tara prior to moving into our home in hopes of getting it painted before everything was in. Tara responded extremely quickly and directed us to their site to fill out the quote form. We filled out the form and received a detailed quote promptly which we were satisfied with.

Tara was able to accommodate our schedule and would have had the job done prior to us moving in had we been more responsive and known what colors we wanted! Once we had a date and colors set, Tara and her crew showed up promptly at 9 am everyday like they said, and immediately went to work. They worked all day with minimal breaks.

The quote she gave us was spot on. We did have to make an adjustment which was necessary and understandable. The ceilings required two coats instead of one. The pictures and video I sent Tara made the ceiling seem lighter than what it was, and once the first coat was on, we decided two was the way to go. She even accommodated our last minute (literally) color changes!!!

All in all it was an outstanding job! The attention to detail, cleanliness and ability to work with our changes was excellent! I am not easily convinced to hire someone to do what I can, but I will not hesitate to hire Speed Pro in the future! Their professionalism, workmanship, and ethics far surpassed my expectations!

I contacted the company through their website.  I entered in the details of the work I wanted completed and Tara, the owner replied by the next day with an estimate.  A deposit for the work was required and paid through Intuit. 

Tara and one other person completed the work in app. 5 hours.  They did a nice job, were punctual and polite. I advised of the paint colors I wanted (three walls in khaki and one accent wall in teal) and they purchased the paint which was included in the estimate. 

So easy to work with.  They did a great job and cleaned up perfectly.  I will absolutely hire them again.

The owner and workers were terrific I could have not been more happy with them, they were great and I mean great, paint job was the best, I was tickled pink with the job done. I would be glad to give telephone references and they finished when they said they would, if I need my house painted again its them that I would call.

Very professional and tidy job. Very nice company to deal with. Tara is helpful and pleasant. Completed work in 2 days, as estimated. Made drywall repairs to kitchen ceiling and mudroom. Painted wall and trim in laundry, mudroom and foyer. Painted stairs and 5 doors. We are delighted with the results. Would definitely recommend Tara and SpeedPro Painting.

Everything went well.  Tara and her partner completed the job in one day.  They were professional, showed up on time and Tara even came back to paint a spot she missed very quickly.  They made some drywall repairs, painted trim and did a great job cleaning up!  Good painters are hard to find and I would definitely use this company in the future.

Worked quickly and did a very nice job. Responded promptly to calls or e-mails. Very nice and pleasant.
