**Attention All Millennial's**Read Contractor's Response Before Ever Hiring!! This Company obviously doesn't want the business of young people!! My wife is pregnant (with twins!) and we wanted the babies' room painted and trim installed. SpeedPro Painting's website clearly states that this is what they do. We filled out the web form and scheduled an estimate. Upon seeing the bedroom, Tara became extremely rude with my wife and told her that they "don't do crown molding". She went on to make the comment that we needed a carpenter that painted, not a painting company. Again, their website clearly states that they do much more than just paint, and that is exactly why we called on them. We currently do not. Over several years he installed maybe 3 or 4 rooms. We get maybe one or two requests per year for the service so I didn't delete the wording on the website. Some of our painters have handyman skills which should not be confused with actual carpentry skills. I didn't realize you wanted crown installed or I would have said it up front. This is the first time someone said no to everything because we didn't do it. Again, sorry for the confusion. I was very disappointed with the whole ordeal. This company portrays themselves as a "can do" company. That is so far from what happened. Tara was only interested in telling my wife what she could not do, and never offered any solutions. This is a simple job and it was obvious that they were not interested in the work. They never gave me a price and I would have paid just about anything to get the work done. I just didn't want a hassle. Here's some free business management training: *The Millennial Generation, I assume you are referring to, is larger than the Baby Boomers, and we make up over 50% of the United States' Population. You should learn how to communicate with us and be grateful that we want to spend money doing things many would do themselves. *Keep your website up to date with the correct services you offer. If you chose to use the internet, use it correctly. Expect that people who find you through Angie's List are going to explore your website, especially when they contact you through your website! *Don't waste other people's time. We wanted to hire you based on your positive reviews and years in service. Although not a big deal to you, we were quite upset that you sternly said "We don't do crown!" when your website clearly said you did. *When you show up at someone's home, introduce yourself. *Do not make comments such as "You need a contractor who paints." *Do not make comments such as "You probably aren't even going to call us, are you?" After that exchange, we certainly weren't going to be hiring you. I can understand you not doing Crown. I get it - Crown is quite specialized. However - please know the difference (and ask your crews if they could have done cove molding). You're correct - I didn't respond to your gracious offer of having some guy you know do the cove molding. I wanted to hire your company, based on the good reviews.

They did a good job. They got in and got got out!

We initially contacted Tara prior to moving into our home in hopes of getting it painted before everything was in. Tara responded extremely quickly and directed us to their site to fill out the quote form. We filled out the form and received a detailed quote promptly which we were satisfied with. Tara was able to accommodate our schedule and would have had the job done prior to us moving in had we been more responsive and known what colors we wanted! Once we had a date and colors set, Tara and her crew showed up promptly at 9 am everyday like they said, and immediately went to work. They worked all day with minimal breaks. The quote she gave us was spot on. We did have to make an adjustment which was necessary and understandable. The ceilings required two coats instead of one. The pictures and video I sent Tara made the ceiling seem lighter than what it was, and once the first coat was on, we decided two was the way to go. She even accommodated our last minute (literally) color changes!!! All in all it was an outstanding job! The attention to detail, cleanliness and ability to work with our changes was excellent! I am not easily convinced to hire someone to do what I can, but I will not hesitate to hire Speed Pro in the future! Their professionalism, workmanship, and ethics far surpassed my expectations!

I contacted the company through their website. I entered in the details of the work I wanted completed and Tara, the owner replied by the next day with an estimate. A deposit for the work was required and paid through Intuit. Tara and one other person completed the work in app. 5 hours. They did a nice job, were punctual and polite. I advised of the paint colors I wanted (three walls in khaki and one accent wall in teal) and they purchased the paint which was included in the estimate.

So easy to work with. They did a great job and cleaned up perfectly. I will absolutely hire them again.

The owner and workers were terrific I could have not been more happy with them, they were great and I mean great, paint job was the best, I was tickled pink with the job done. I would be glad to give telephone references and they finished when they said they would, if I need my house painted again its them that I would call.

Very professional and tidy job. Very nice company to deal with. Tara is helpful and pleasant. Completed work in 2 days, as estimated. Made drywall repairs to kitchen ceiling and mudroom. Painted wall and trim in laundry, mudroom and foyer. Painted stairs and 5 doors. We are delighted with the results. Would definitely recommend Tara and SpeedPro Painting.

Everything went well. Tara and her partner completed the job in one day. They were professional, showed up on time and Tara even came back to paint a spot she missed very quickly. They made some drywall repairs, painted trim and did a great job cleaning up! Good painters are hard to find and I would definitely use this company in the future.

Tara and her crew are very professional and prompt. From the moment I contacted her to the moment she walked out the door, my experience was awesome. When I first contacted Speedpro, Tara told me they were scheduling a couple of weeks out and asked if that was ok. I was fine with that but it was nice of her to be honest. She and 2 other members of her crew arrived at 9:15am, the time they said they'd be there. They worked fast and efficiently. Everyone was very nice and pleasant to deal with. The paint job looks excellent and the clean up was great. They didn't leave any mess, replaced all the light switch covers, mini blinds, etc. I was happy to hear they also use Sherwin Williams paints. Their price was at least 300 dollars less than the cheapest quote we got from two other contractors. But that didn't mean that Speedpro did a shoddy job. We are very pleased and will definitely call them when we need the other rooms in our house painted.

Tara and her crew did a fairly decent job, I just wish she would have been more up front with how many coats they can apply at once, how long that takes, that they may have to come back and if they do, that it will cost more. I also wish she would have checked the color of the paint we bought ahead of time so we would have known that it could take 3 or 4 coats. They also didn't put the electric switch plate covers that they removed initially back on the wall after the job was complete, no did they rehang the blinds they removed. Not a big deal of course, but it would have been a nice way to completely finish up the job.

Tara was very responsive and found a way to fit my scheduling needs. Her crew did an excellent job, kept the place clean, and were very efficient. They were able to get the job done earlier than expected which was a big plus for me! I will definitely use them again when I need a fresh coat of paint!

They were highly recommended on Angie's List. It was horrible. She confused the day of the appointment. I showed her everything to do. They did 2 coats of painting, the second was put on top of wet paint. A lot of spots needed to be redone, but they did not do it. The ceiling had been patched in the past, but she said it was done wrong, but no other painters have had any issues with it in the past. It just needed to be painted with a textured roller. She told me today that she did not know when she should come back. I cancelled my check today. Update: Now that I am home looking at this work, you can see going down the hallway that it was rolled down the middle. On my front door, they got paint of the door handle and lock. They took down my verticle blinds by pulling out the fixture instead of unscrewing it. Instead of taking my doors down to paint as I requested, she painted around them. There is so much paint on the brass hinges that I am unable to open or close my doors. They also got paint on my refrigerator door handle and my kitchen floor. I have had painters that have come in the past with buckets of clean water to clean their materials. This company used my sinks to rinse their supplies. She threatened me and said she would take me to court.

Tara confirmed with me the day before; she and one other employee showed up on time; They completed the work and the ceilings are patched and painted excpetionally well. One ceiling wanted to give her a challenge by bubbling down in a spot, while still wet. She fixed it immediately, and let me know she would take care of any issues with that spot. She fixed it right, and there are no issues. Tara and her crew were extremely professional, and I am confident she knows her craft! I will call her again when I have the need, and certainly recommend her.

Tara gave us an estimate with pictures and she also stopped by to confirm the estimate. The estimate was reasonable and their job quality was great. They cleaned up well after finishing their job.

Amazing. A+. From the initial e-mail all the way through to job completion was an outstanding experience. Tara communicated quickly, clearly and set my expectations. She is super friendly and very efficient. She treated my home like it was hers (drop cloth placement, moving furniture and cleaning up afterwards). My ceiling looks like there was never any water damage in the first place. I will use Tara again for my next painting job which she has already estimated for me. What a great experience. They were very good. They are pleasant to have in your home. They are very respectful, thorough, and professional. They are prompt in there service - they come when they say. They work quickly, efficiently, and are reasonably priced.They are careful in your home - they cover everything very well to avoid any kind of dripping or staining. When they finished the job, they cleaned up very well - there was a person mopping our floor after! They went above and beyond my expectations, and I would use them again.

Tara and crew spent one day prepping for paint. They patched the drywall and cedar in my closet. I had picked my color for the bathroom but was struggling with color for the family room. My room had been a very dark burgundy and I wanted to brighten up the room. It literally took five minutes for them to suggest a color that would flow well into the bathroom. They painted the ceilings, trim and walls. The job was beautiful and I was completely satisfied. In fact, I intend on using them again very soon to reprint my bedroom. They were very professional and cleaned up nicely.

Better then perfect. I was thrilled with everything that was done. I Loved having these ladies in my home. They were the best find we have ever had. Can't say enough good things about them.

Owner and an employee showed up one time, were friendly, took care to lay tarps over all floor surfaces and went right to work. They took a short break for lunch each day and finished on second day as promised. Work was very professional, very neat and clean up was great. They will be my go to painters from now on!

The team came on time, worked diligently and finished just a few hours more than projected because several dark walls needed another coat. There was a small charge for additional paint only; all other charges were exactly as contracted. They patched where necessary and the end result is a very nice finish with full coverage and straight lines where 2 accent walks met the rest of the room. They were neat, leaving no drips on any of the hardwood floors. Could not be more satisfied with their work.

Speed Pro did a good job. The quoting process and communication was very professional. The crew was punctual and worked fast. The cutting around trim and ceilings was excellent. This vendor did a good job at a fair price. I would use Speed Pro again and have recommend them to several neighbors.

Remove wall paper and paint kitchen. showed up on time. Was easy to talk to too. Did a excellent job. Still as of today it is looking great. Professional and Time frame was perfect to complete. One half of a day. We are in Allen Park and wanted to have her come. It was a drive for her so we appreciated her coming. Other contractors I had bid on it were rude, overpriced and not easy to deal with. some no shows for bid. SHe and I corresponded thru email and I sent her pictures of damage. We agreed on price and she came and did all work. No mess left behind either. I would totally recommend her! Gina D

This job included almost every surface in the house except the floor which we had done two weeks earlier. Tara estimated that it would take 8 to 10 days depending on how the wallpaper removal went. It turned out that some of the rooms needed quite a lot of repair after the wallpaper came down so it took the full 10 days. Tara's crew showed up promptly and worked hard every day. They were very professional and cleaned up enough at the end of each day so we could use the kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms in the evening. We are very pleased with job and think our house looks great.
