Let's put things in perspective. I purchased my goods after 2 years of research. I found these items for $600+ less. Yes, I asked your opinion. You said they were good products. I wanted to hire you simply to do the install. This I made clear from the start. When I reminded you, you were put off and blew me off that year. I did not hire a company to install it for a less expensive price!!! I hired them because I had the equipment and you obviously were not going to do the install. Yes, the company I hired was inept and their work did not last through the fall and winter and all of it broke; the skimmer was never installed properly. So, the work you saw was in 2011, 3 years ago, it was was not the same work I needed done this year. I installed quite a bit myself. A drive from St. Clare Shores to Dearborn is not that far in the scheme of things. I take care and time when writing reviews; this the the discrepancy. Plus, I contacted many other folks in your profession in the meantime and they thought $75 an hour was extremely expensive. Thus the review.

I had tried installing first a pond, then a fountain. They were just too much work to maintain. I had seen some water features I loved at nearby parks. After talking it over with my husband and deciding on a budget, I called Pondering Waters. Jeff came out to look at my area, we talked about what I wanted, and how much I had budgeted. He offered suggestions, and provided some product catalogs. I sent him a couple of pictures similar to what I was hoping for, and he came back with a design and an estimate that was within my budget! Once the supplies were in, we scheduled the install. Jeff and his assistant were courteous and careful to save the plants I wanted to save, and got everything ready. It was late in the day, so Jeff came back the next day to install. It started raining, but Jeff finished and I had a beautiful, relaxing waterfall. And the only maintenance I have to do is add water! I did take my pump out for the winter and store it in my basement, but it was easy to remove and re-install. Looking forward to another awesome summer in my own backyard! Someday I hope to get an INDOOR water feature from Pondering Waters!

Pondering Waters and Jeff Michaels are awesome! I have already recommended them to friends and family. I trusted this company from the start and was not disappointed. I would rate them an A+++++ From the visit to the house for the quote to the time they left after completing the project, completely cleaning up, making sure everything was perfect and we had no other questions the whole experience was wonderful. Every promised was fulfilled and everything Jeff said would take place or would be done was followed through with more detail and concern than we could have imagined. Words to describe Pondering Waters and Jeff Michaels.... Wow! Awesome! Wonderful to work with! Trustworthy! Fair! Concerened..... Just too many great things to say about them... UPDATE: It's been 3 years since Jeff and crew installed our pond. We still love it! We've had no issues at all, everything runs wonderfully, no leaks or issues. This pond was the best thing for our house we've done in the 20 years we've lived here.
