They have always been remarkable. They are very professional and knowledgeable. Felt very comfortable with them in my house. I've followed up with questions and they've been very accommodating. I would heartily recommend them.

Every heating season we discover new problems with our very old furnace and this year was no exception. We keep hoping to get one more year out of the old thing and thanks to the guys at Jim Watts Heating and Cooling we've (so far) been able to do so. They always come out quickly and do what is necessary to get the job done. This time around, after fixing the problem with the furnace we discovered the next day that water was still leaking. They worked us in within a few hours and found an additional problem and fixed it for free. I am always impressed with this company and go back to them every time we have heating or AC issues. We will use them when we finally do replace this dinosaur of a furnace.

Very expensive service in my experience with Mr. Jim Watt himself as provider...Came in and in 2 minutes said we need a new heater blower (bearings fried- which was true) as need a Fasco A170 quoted $450 to install = $200 priced unit everywhere and $250 for what was a simply 15 minute install... said originally charges were $25 service call and $60 and hour.... Questioned fees after quick lookup online said he and quot;Hated the internetand quot; inferring its ruining his ability to charge and make a living-I told him if not for internet and Angie's he wouldn't be here??? I said $375 for deal and he agreed saying - and quot;I'm already here nowand quot;...

Overall he did job well and was professional but would not recommend due to the high cost / fees he charges.

They were fabulous. The young man that was sent was really good. He actually suggested I have the cleaning done since it hadn't done in a while. Their pricing was good. The work was excellent. They are a great group of people. If I need work done in the future I would call them back.

I did not end up hiring him, but I would recommend him. The cost ended up being more than I planned to spend, but that was fine with me because he was very honest about what was needed to be done for the air conditioning to be effective in this particular rental home. I would use him again in the future; in fact, I am going to keep his number for myself when I do need him to do some work for me.

The job was done on schedule and on budget. It was totally successful and he reminded me to call if there were any problems. There were none. Great job and great care.

It was good and he did an excellent job. The only problem was that we thought he was expensive. He took the old water heater out and he delivered the new water heater so my husband and I didn't have to do anything. We didn't have any water so he delivered the water heater on a Friday and came back the next day to install it.

Bob arrived on time, appt. between 12 and 2. He inspected my basement furnace, He cleaned the burners and the flame sensor. I just moved into this house so this furnace is new to me, he took time to explain about the filter it takes which is much larger than at my last house. He then went upstairs to look at my upstairs furnace, a very old furnace. He removed the blower assembly and washed the clogged wheel. I left for work at this point but he left an estimate for a new upstairs furnace and a humidifer for the basement furnace. He was very professional and answered all my questions, he did a very good job.

The repairman showed up within the range of time that had been determined; was efficient and effective with the repair; and had the furnace up and running in short order.

Very punctual. It did not take too long and it did not cost too much and we have not had the problem since.

This was a difficult install because my house doesn't have a basement and the furnace was in a closet. There was very little room to actually install the humidifier, but he made it work with a lot more effort that I think would normally be required. I have been using it all winter and it works great and provides ample humidity to my house. I love it and the extra work did not result in a higher fee than was quoted over the phone.

I think he quoted on the phone 25.00 for service charge and 60.00 an hour. It came out to 85.00 total charge. He was a few minutes late. He arrived with an assistant, I showed him where everything was and gave him the new thermostat that I wanted installed and they went to work. I watched some of the work and there was more to the job than I thought, glad I didn't try it myself. Whole job took a little less than an hour and in the end the new thermostat took AAA batteries instead of AA batteries that were in the old thermostat, after I searched the house the only ones I had were rechargables that weren't charged. By the way he recommended never putting rechargable batteries in your thermostat. He said he usually has some batteries in his truck just for this reason, he did and he put them in and then tested everything to make sure it was working fine. He then explained how the new thermostat worked to me.

I was very pleased with them and would use them again. He was a good worker and a pleasure to have in my home. I will have him work on my furnace and air conditioner in the future since I was extremely pleased with the service.

It was 90 degrees and the air conditioning was not working. Called other companies and got no quick response. Jim came within 24 hours of the call. He was told that the thermostat may have been wired wrong when it was installed the previous year. He checked the air conditioner unit in the basement and outside and it was determined that the thermostat was wired wrong. He fixed that and did other checks on the unit itself and within an hour it was working.

When I first called they were concerned because it was already cold and I said I couldn't see them for a few days. They came out on time and followed up. I thought the price was absolutely reasonable.

He did a furnace inspection and told me that I needed to completely replace my furnace; he said I had a crack in my heater exchange. I went to someone else who has been working with my family for years for a second opinion, and I was informed that Jim Watts was trying to rip me off. The man who gave me the second opinion has 35 years of heating and cooling experience, and informed me that what Jim Watts had done was an old furnace repair scam, and the "crack" was only a solder seam. Jim Watts even turned off our furnace as a health hazard and my family was left without heat for two days. He was using scare tactics to try to sell us a new furnace. I will never consider using this company again.

We called Jim to schedule a boiler service appointment. He was able to schedule us within a couple of days. Jim was timely on the day of the service. He thoroughly examined the boiler and performed the required maintenance. He made sure everything was properly working. He answered all our questions and gave us helpful hints. We've used Jim for about 5 years and have been satisfied with the all the service he has provided.

Jim answered the phone promptly and professionally and told me he could come the next day and would call me in the morning with a time frame. He actually called the evening before to tell me he would show between 9 and 11 a.m. He called in the morning to tell me he was on his way. Our problem was so silly and simple -- a blown fuse. He found it immediately, replaced it and then inspected and cleaned our system for a basic $60 service call fee. (Bonus -- he likes dogs!)

He was very honest, reliable and friendly. He is honest and up front. He could have tried to fix it, but he told us to check on the warranty first. He is very knowledgeable.
