The response was made within a day and Nena worked with me to find a time that would work. When Bob arrived he was friendly and professional quickly realizing the electric connection for the system had been cut and he had to go back to shop to get another. He returned later when I said I would be home and quickly assessed the system determining which areas were working and what heads needed to be replaced. Many trips up and down to the basement later he had the system working great and showed me how to set the timer. I was extremely pleased with the service and the results.

All went as expected, individual that performed the service was great to work with giving me options on how it could be repaired. I was happy with their service. They are a family company and the office hours are from 8 to 1pm which can be a little annoying. However they always call back when you leave a message.

Schick Sprinkling Systems was an initial random call using Angie's List. When I spoke with the Company representative and gave her my address, we were both surprised that Shick was the company that had installed and serviced the sprinkler system for the prior owner many years before. Schick coordinated a convenient time for a rep to come to my home. They explained that there would be a service charge for the call whether or not their services were used. The initial Schick representative was punctual but could not test the system because of the water line to the outside pipe was not proper and water was leaking - and therefore there was no pressure to the sprinkler system required for testing. The rep said they could fix it or I could and that they would come back to do the test. No payments were made at that time. After I repaired the the outgoing pipe, Shick re-attended and tested everything and provided me with a quote on the spot. Their quote was reasonable and they had all the items necessary (in their service truck) to complete the repairs and reset the system. Their rep Jeremy explained how my system should be set up and what to do if there were any power outages and such. Jeremy also called back the next week to ensure that everything was working properly - and it was. Schick's head office also called to make sure I was happy with their service - and I was.

My husband made and appointment with Schick Sprinkling Systems to come to our residence for the required annual winterization of our in-ground sprinkling system. This system is located all around our home, and totals 9 separate zones. The technician came at the time scheduled, reviewed the control panel for the entire system, then went around the house, checking all sprinkler heads. Using a compressor, they winterized the system. Finally, they used markers to designate the location of the sprinkler heads to aid in opening the system again next spring. This is a service they have done in the past and we called them again because we have not had any further problems with our system .

The owner, Mike Schick, came out in mid April to meet with me and estimate the job. He highly recommended a Hunter System and indicated that we would require 5 zones to water the various front lawn and shrub areas that we have. The installation took place in early May of 2008, and took 1 day to complete. Mr. Schick came out that morning to layout the system and to review the work with the crew. The crew did a great job with the installation, and left our lawn in great shape! When they completed the work, they showed us how the system operated and how to operate the timer. The entire group was very polite and accommodating, and did a nice job. The system has really performed well, and has kept my lawn & shrubs well watered. We continue to have Schick Sprinkling service our system in the fall to winterize our lines, and we also have them out in the spring to reactivate it. Overall, we have been very pleased with their service.
