I always go to this Best Buy because it is close to home. Every time I go there I am ignored. This time I went, and stood at the counter, waiting for someone, anyone to acknowledge me. There weren't any other costumers around. So there I stood. Finally one of the many kids that work there noticed there is a customer, and tried to help me. Of course the store didn't have what I needed, and I left. I hate this store.
Description of Work: Needed to get a part for my new TV. Customer service needed.

 + -1 moreI went to Best Buy and stood in line for the Geek Squad for about 20 minutes. Upon reaching the counter, the manager told the service technician he must go on break and I waited an additional 10 minutes. The service tech looked at my laptop and said we don't service that brand because they no longer carry it in the store. I explained that I purchased it there, he checked with the manager and she said they couldn't help me. The service tech did tell me about other chain stores that may service the laptop. So really the Geek Squad is actually just a fancy name for the Best Buy internal repair department. They are not a full service repair shop.
Description of Work: Attempted to obtain service from the Geek Squad on a laptop computer that was purchased from Best Buy 2 years ago.

 + -1 moreTHE TECHNICIAN THAT DID THE WORK FOR US DID A GREAT JOB. HE EXPLAINED WHAT THE VIRUSES WERE AND HOW HE WAS GOING TO REMOVE THEM. THE COMPUTER HAS WORKED GREAT FOR US SINCE THEN SO I AM VERY SATISFIED.
Description of Work: WE TOOK THE COMPUTER TO BEST BUY AND HAD THE VIRUSES REMOVED.

 + -1 moreI THOUGHT THAT THE PRICE WAS A BIT HIGH. I LIKED THAT I COULD JUST WALK IN WITH THE COMPUTER AND GIVE IT TO THEM TO DEAL WITH. THEY WERE VERY COURTEOUS AND SEEMED TO KNOW WHAT THEY WERE DOING.
Description of Work: MY COMPUTER HAD A VIRUS AND THE HARD DRIVE WAS BAD, SO I TOOK IT TO BEST BUY TO HAVE IT FIXED.
