Rivertown Landscapes

Description of Work: The provider does snow removal for our subdivision and we get a discount to have our own drive way done. I have no complaints about the snow removal, they have done a good job. My complaint is about their landscaping. I have called and left messages because my yard needs help. I talked to someone who said the job sounded too small for them, but to leave a message with their landscaper to discuss further. Given the history of having them plow my driveway for the last few years, I was expecting a call back. I have called the company and left a couple of messages but no return call.

Description of Work: I called and left a message to talk to someone about potential work in my backyard - I only gave a brief description. I received a call back a week later and without asking any more questions about the scope of the work, I was told that my job would be too small for them and that I should call someone else who does small jobs. I had called two other companies and we are proceeding with a wonderful company and our job will be about $20,000.

Description of Work: Put in several trees.

Description of Work: It was landscaping, excavation and putting in some stone. They extended a sandstone path to an existing path to a path in our backyard. Then they excavated that path and placed some limestone slabs to form a walkway up the hill. They added some boulders on the side for additional accents.

Description of Work: they provided a layout design acceptable to our budget; i.e., a 30' x 4' s-shaped, stone walkway leading from the west end of our yard into our adjacent wooded area with additional large stones placed in various locations for continuity and aesthetics. this included rototilling the surrounding planting beds, placing 4" of composted soil in them and finishing it off with 6 - 8" of natural bark mulch. it was agreed we would to the plantings. at the conclusion of the project, we had them add an additional serpentine flag-stone walkway leading from an existing one to the base of the new one. the stones matched perfectly.
