JAD Handyman was very nice to talk to on the phone but never followed through with coming to the job site or a price quote even when indicated they would do so. Talked to them several times by phone but apparently they are too busy to quote jobs or take on new business. After initial contact, a month has passed and still no quote or follow up with JAD. Not a good way to do business.

JAD did a great job. Excellent workmanship. JAD replaced two deck posts and 9 floorboards plus fixed our squeaky kitchen hardwood floor. Work was done on time as scheduled. We definitely received an excellent value for our money. Will use JAD in the future and we can only highly recommend Jan and Dave.

Not only did the repair look great but it was better than when it was done originally! I love it when people know what they're doing and take pride in their work. It could not have been done any better in my opinion.

Did a wonderful job. Right on time and took extra time to go with me to buy the replacement toilet. Installed it after he had repaired the toilet base tile and the water supply line and valve. He did far more than he charged for and took a lot of his time to see that I was happy withs the job A+ job in every respect. I plan to book him for other jobs I cant do myself.

His estimate was clean and final price was exactly as quoted. He built three levels of shelving in the basement to increase storage and keep household items off the floor. He started late but it was because he was helping a friend with an emergency, we were called and advised. He came back Saturday to finish the job. Everything was solid and as requested. Dan says there is plenty of work if you are willing to do what needs to be done.

Had Dave install some door locks and finish off a craft room and he did a great job on both. Very responsive and does good work.

He reinforced a rafter supporting the roof in our salt-box garage. | |He replaced tow shower/tub faucet valves without the availability of a service panel. | |He removed the cracked grout in the tile enclosure over the tub and regrouted it. | |He cleaned up whatever mess he made so you'd never realize he'd been there! | |I would call him again in a heartbeat. (His wife answers the calls, accesses his plan, and lets the customer know date and time he plans to come.) All very efficient!

Repaired extreme storm damage to tool shed, tree had fallen on it. Also replaced commode in downstairs bath as tank had developed a crack and water leak. Both jobs very well done at a very reasonable price

Dave arrived when he said he would, worked until dusk and returned a second day to complete the job. He installed tyvek to waterproof though I hadn't requested it and didn't know that I should it. There was no extra charge for this. Dave caulked all exposed seams and installed flashing on the roof side of the chase. He seemed willing to do any extra work that I suggested or inquired about. We will hire JAD again when jobs arise. I would suggest them to friends or neighbors as necessary.

We contacted JAD after seeing several favorable reviews on Angie's List and Dave came over after hours to scope the work out. We got together a list including some caulking, painting, and re-sectioning/securing a downspout. Dave is friendly and knowledgeable about all aspects of home improvement and construction. I felt he did a great job on all the projects and it saved me valuable time and money I otherwise would have spent attempting the repairs myself and the results were better as well. the biggest issue is timing, advice to prospective customers would be to book as far in advance as your schedule permits. we have already asked JAD to quote some additional work and have recommended the company to our HOA. Since this review Dave has been back to do additional work and I found it to be of high quality. We continue to do business with JAD.

The business is ran in a very professional manner. The job was completed as requested. Jan took care of the phone calls and is very kind and responsive. Her husband is the handyman and was prompt and courteous. I would use this service again if needed.

Dave came at the preset time to give an estimate and then came exactly when he said he would to do the work. He was friendly, but very professional. The work was done in a timely manner ever with a few minor setbacks. He charged exactly what the estimate was. I will always call him whenever I need work done.

Quality work performed. Dave identified additional rotten wood and properly replaced.

Dave was punctual and did great work on all 3 projects I hired him for. I also enjoyed talked to him and he gave me good advice concerning other work I was considering in the future. I will definitely utilize J.A.D. for my future home care projects (big and small). Good help is truly hard to fine and I thank Angie's list for hooking me up with J.A.D. Keith B

I could not be happier with the level of professionalism, quality of work and fair pricing that this company delivers. Excellent communication from Jan all the way through and Dave is top notch in every way. Being a single woman, it can be very difficult to find honest and competent contractors that a) treat you with respect, b) do not overprice or overstate what needs to be done, and c) actually do quality work. Highly recommend and I have already sent out this company's contact information to several colleagues. Will be using J.A.D. for all of my handywork going forward!

Dave was great. He is very professional and personal and did a great job. I called this morning and he came this evening on his way home to give me an estimate, and ended up doing the job while here. His wife, Jan, is also very pleasant and was very quick in getting back to me as to when he would be coming to my place. He arrived exactly when he said he would. I would definitely recommend using him for any of your needs, and will use him in the future if needed. Thank you!

Came out at promised time to do estimate. Scheduled the work to be done within 4 days. Received reminder call day the job was to be done. Arrived at scheduled time. Works steadily and carefully. Exceptionally pleasant person. Would not hesitate to use him in the future.

Dave gave us an estimate that was extremely fair. It included us buying the replacement items independently to save money - he suggested where to get best prices and quality and what to buy (paint, vanity, tile, etc). That brought the price down to the reported amount. He did the work in the the time frame he quoted and was extremely efficient. He put plastic runners down to protect our white carpet and worked in his stocking feet. Cleaned up every night and disposed of scrap material. He fixed a number of "builder shortcuts" that were discovered when he did the work. Overall, he knew what he was doing. Dave is very professional, dependable, conscientious, positive and friendly. He made what could have been a poor experience into a good one. The final result is a finished product that is much better than the original. Will definitely use him again if we can.

My call for an estimate was returned promptly and the estimate was also provided promptly. He worked quickly and efficiently. He even made an adjustment on my front door to help with the sticking and also provided information on front door options, which we have been considering. I will definitely call on him again as needs arise!
