Absolutely wonderful work done at an extremely reasonable price! Prentiss was always very friendly and helpful throughout the process of getting a quote, picking out our carpet & flooring, and setting up an install date. The services rendered went far above and beyond what was expected, and it was extremely nice to have such eager, polite and kind workers in our home. Would absolutely recommend and we are likely to reach out to Portage Flooring first if we ever need other flooring jobs completed in our home.!

I picked them out on Angie's List, texted Printess and received a reply back almost instantly. He was professional and very friendly. Settled on a price and date of completion. He came on time and completed the job in lightning speed. The installation looked awesome! They took away all the waste and vacuumed. Many thanks to them and I will definitely use them again. I highly recommend their services.

Prentiss came promptly to give an estimate. He was able to measure up everything and give a quote right there. He scheduled the work in 2 segments so the moving of the furniture was easy. He was a great guy to work with.

Throughout the whole process, Printess was very responsive and provided the first class service. Due to some reason I have to reschedule the date to 3 weeks earlier and Printess made it with very short notice. I am very pleased with the quality of the service and I would like to recommend his team to everyone.

Printiss was fast to return phone call and scheduled to meet quote the next day. He arrived promptly, carefully assessed what needed to be done. He provided a quote between $250 and $300 and said he'd call back that evening to see if he could fit us in on our preferred day. He called back on time and committed to the date we requested. He and a helper arrived promptly as scheduled (despite -6 F temps, -20 F windchill, and snow covered roads). I am very pleased with the results ... better than expected. Cost = $275. Printiss is very professional and friendly. Easy to work with. Definitely would use again and recommend to others.

He was subcontraced by Home Depot to do the install for carpeting I purchased. He was the only great part of the process. The measure took forever from Home Depot, the scheduling took forever from Home Depot, but Portage Flooring called me and made me the first install of the day. Printess showed up and saw that I had concrete subfloor and said i couldnt install the tack strips without gluing it and that it would need 2 days to dry. 2 days was a Sunday. He offered to come back on a Sunday morning at 9 AM to do our install. He also glued down the tack strips and didnt tell Home Depot, because they would have charged me for it. He showed up on a Sunday morning at 9am like he said he would and was done in less than an hour. It is extremely clean and done very well. The fact that he was willing to take him weekend to do my install meant alot. He also informed me that I paid about 2 to $300.00 more for my carpeting than he would have charged me. I had him price out the rest of my house while he was here doing the carpet. I will ONLY purchase carpeting from him from here on out and will recommend him to any one who needs it as well. THIS GUY WAS AMAZING.

Portage Flooring was the only good thing about the whole project. I bought the carpet from Home Depot, and they made mistakes on the pricing, and the measuring company sent me a floor plan for a completely different house! Even after I brought this to their attention, and thought they corrected it, they still sent the installers to the wrong home. I was very worried that the carpet would be wrong, or cut to the wrong measurements, but Prentice (Portage Flooring) took care of everything. He and his crew were very polite and friendly, and professional. They did a great job, and I will call them again to do the flooring in my bathroom, or any other projects I have in the future.
