Luke Noble arrived for an estimate and stated he was a perfectionist. I was worried that meant he was expensive - he wasn't. His price was good so I hired him. He was right, he was a perfectionist. I had multiple contractors in the house when Luke was doing his work. He was, by far, the most professional, punctual, clean, and organized contractor. He was always available by phone and responsive to my questions. Many of the contractors did not return my phone calls and kept me guessing as to when they might continue their work. Luke was always clear and available. He worked steadily and reliably to get the job done. He was very organized and kept the work area organized and clean. Also, he didn't make a big deal of changes or challenges during the construction. He dealt with them without making a fuss. So many contractors are alarmist and can needlessly worry the customer - he didn't do that. Luke would calmly deal with any challenge and suggest ways to deal with unforeseen issues. Also, his invoices were clear and not mystery - he itemized to make it clear what he was charging. One minor issue is that he largely works by himself so work can proceed "steadily." However, it's like the tortoise and the hare - he works steadily and can proceed faster than companies that disappear for days at a time because of other work. By his own admission, he likes to do one job at a time and turns down jobs until his current job is done. Hire him for any size job if you want good work at a reasonable price.
